I’ve expanded my Sonos system with a Roam SL, and when at home on the wifi, that all works well. When on a remote, fairly frequently visited, location I was hoping to make use of:Roam SL Iphone S2 with playlists and servicesbasically I was hoping to BT pair the Roam SL with my phone on which I have S2, and from S2 control the Roam SL, and play my family’s all playlists stored on Sonos/S2. But so far S2 looks empty/inaccessible as of content. Am I dreaming up this possibility, or am I just not setting it up correctly?

Is there any possibility to connect sonos ray to samsung freestyle? Moderator note: added titular question to post
Hello! Since the total outage of Radioplayer a few days ago, Radioplayer service on Sonos app is still not working (at least for me), even if the service seems to be up and operating normally.I resetted the app, removed and reinstalled Radioplayer service but seems not to be helpful. Can anyone tell me if there are still problems? Other services works fine!ThanksAndrea
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the S2 app, rebooting my MacBook Pro and the router and NOTHING WORKS!! I keep getting the same error message that sonos quit unexpectedly. Sonos has been working with occasional crashes but now, I can’t even open the app. Please help!
Hello all I moved into a house that has speakers in the ceiling in most of the rooms (about 7 rooms?) - there is a CD player and DAB hooked up but I can’t see an amp. The below is what’s there. If I replaced the CD or DAB with a Sonos Port, would that work?I understand that each room can’t be isolated with one product but I should be able to say set all downstairs speakers to the Port input.Any help appreciated.
On my new ERA 100 the voice services light is so dim as to be useless in a normally lit room. Support tells me this is not a defect. I also noticed that light will get brighter temporarily while I touch and hold the voice services icon. What’s that about?
HiFor playing music in a large kitchen diner (parties and high-quality listening) I’m considering buying a FIVE to sit on a shelf central on the long wall, then put a ONE SL and a ONE at the extreme sides of the room to create a wider sound field in the room (without the expense of 2x FIVES). (Note: I thought a ONE would be useful as it will have a mic for smart speaker purposes).Question: Can I set the ONE and ONE SL as a stereo pair, and have the FIVE playing in stereo to get this wide sound field?Would this work?
I don’t think iti is fair to impose to the buyers of sonos speakers unsolicited advertising. It isn’t consistent with the idea that we have bought top of the line speakers. It isn’t consistent with proper customer care and… have you listened to the ads?In German and Italian they are unbelievably primitive. Truly ugly stuff.I don’t think it is a money spinner for sonos. Just a stupid embarassment.
Currently use Sonos in rooms where I can easily access them.Am looking to mount new speakers about 8ft up in close to ceiling for a sunroom. Although I can always get a ladder if there was an issue, ideally am looking to have these mounted and connected to power and then remote control them from Sonos App/remotely.Thoughts? Recommendations? 2x Era 100 or 300 better than a single sound bar? Thanks in advance
My sonos roam is making AN UNBEARABLE NOISE on random moment, i don’t turn it on anymore and i don’t plan to.The unit is in perfect condition, i am terribly disappointed.
Hello -I’m moving to a new house that has the internet connection and router/wireless in a basement utility room. As I recall, one of the Sonos components has to be hardwired into the router. But, I don’t really want to put a speaker in a utility room. What product do I use to connect to the router? Thanks,Todd
We plan to purchase Sonos Amp, if it will do what we need... Our house came with a Russound SDB-6.1 speaker selector, wired to 6 in-ceiling single-speakers indoors and outside. I have no idea brand, type, or specs of the speakers. We want to get rid of a stack of outdated equipment and get a simple solution to stream music and audio content from laptops, ipad, and/or phones. Can we use a Sonos Amp attached to one of the 2 input ports? We understand that we will still need to manually use the speaker selector to turn the 6 speakers on/off, and to adjust relative volume of one speaker to another. That said, could we adjust the Sonos volume output remotely, and wouldn’t that translate (in layman’s terms) to “more or less sound going from Sonos into Russound, equals more or less sound going into every speaker”? Thanks for helping an audio-amateur!
Unique question this.I am thinking of purchasing a Spectrum Analyzer to bring some life to my home setup. I’d like to achieve the following:Connect my turntable (amp built in) to my Port, audio to be played through my various Sonos speakers Connect the output of my Port to a Spectrum Analyzer (the Spectrum Analyzer has RCA inputs) The Spectrum Analyzer to display the output signals from the turntable, and a different times the output of other Sonos audio services connected to my wider Sonos setup (i.e. Spotify) Is this workable? Could the Port support such a thing? Basically outputting the sound from my turntable or other Sonos audio services to a Spectrum Analyzer all via the Port’s output cable?
Bonjour je remarque que l’enceinte Sonos se déconnecte souvent du routeur wifi, est ce que c’est possible d’intégré dans l’enceinte un accès point comme ça on dépend plus de la distance pour se connecté directement au système Sonos.Merci
I have a 17 year old Pro-Ject Debut SE which I hooked up to a pair of Fives plus a Sub last year. I was very happy with the sound but recently I've made some upgrades to the turntable. Main one being a much better cartridge - the Ortofon MM Blue. It sounds so much better and really makes the Fives and Sub shine. So well worth doing if you love your vinyl. It easily sounds on a par with hi-res streaming now.
Do I go with a pair of Play:3 or pair of one sl? Looking for some advice or opinions on which is best when paired with a playbar and sub . Thanks in advance ! 😎
What would you use for an 12 by 18 screened in porch? I was thinking Era 300.
Hi All,I’m new to Sonos and would just like to get a few opinions for the sound settings on my new Beam Gen 2 with a Sub mini.I do not have a iphone so unable to use trueplay. I have it set up in a medium size 3mtr x 6mtr room with 2mtr high ceilings. It sounds amazing and I’m very pleased with my choice just interested in what settings others are using.
Similar to what is outlined here: I experience in some cases a metallic / distorted / chirping sound on my Beam2. Happens with Panasonic and LG TV, so it’s not a TV issue. The metallic sound is somewhat in the background, but clearly noticeable. It is also somewhat correlated to the original sound, seems to be directly „derived“ from it, like a distorted low volume copy. For me only happens in night sound mode. When i disable night sound, the issue disappears my.Seem to happen more often on TV channels with PCM stereo. But I have not been able to relay reliably reproduce it. It happens quite often though.Switching the channel can make the error appear or go away.Wild engineering guess is some sort of Bitstream MSB/LSB alignment error. Re-init also means re-align and this can fix it. Possibly hardware not SW?Anyone else experiencing this?
Hi. I recently got a Sonance 6.0 system to add to the other Sonos systems in the house. I had no problem setting the Sonance up and it seems to be working fine on the wifi. When I try and take the volume above about 60% it always cuts out. Works fine up to that volume but always cuts out above that. Any suggestions? Thank you

Hi!I’m currently looking at different options for setting up a sound system for a hostel. It involves installing several speakers to cover a rather large (fully open & connected) common area, including a reception, café and dining hall. Total probably 7 speakers, plus or minus. (either Era 100, One SL, or a combination. Recommendations between these two are also greatly appreciated!). All controlled with an iPad in our reception/café. I’m finding it a bit difficult to figure out just by the information online, so I’m wondering if anyone knows whether or not a Sonus system could satisfy the following example use cases?:) Three specifically selected speakers playing the same music, the rest are silent. All speakers playing the same music, but with the ability to adjust volume per speaker. Three speakers playing the same music, and a fourth one playing its own music from a different source. (could also be from a different iPad, if that is needed to work as a separate sound source). O
Can someone pls suggest to me 2.1 setup for just music
