I have a Pro Ject Debut Carbon EVO TT connected to the phono RCA on a Marantz PM7000n amp. I have a Marantz CD6007 connected to the CD RCA on the amp. I have a Sonos Port connected to the amp via the recorder out RCA to connect to my era 300’s in stereo mode. Both TT, CD player and network radio all play music to my connected Sonos ERA 300’s. The issue I have is that every time I turn a record over or just lift the stylus from the record the Amp disappears from the ‘line in’ as a source in my Sonos S2 app. It states ‘source unknown’. The issue doesn’t happen if I change a CD. I then have a nightmare waiting for the Port to display again in the app so I can select it as the line source. It just steps unknown until I close and open the app a few times. It’s a right pain!! The port is set to source level 2 (AV component), line out is set to fixed and audio delay is set to 2000 ms. I’ve tried every setting in the app for the port to stop it dropping out from my app. Does anyone have any

Hi. Is there a reason why I am not able to add any of the Jazz Groove stations into my favorites? They offer five stations. When I try to add any of them to my favorite from in the music service view it keeps saying to try again but no reason is shown why. Then in playing mode, in the lower right corner, the three dots, when I press that, adding as a favorite is not an option. Thanks.

Starting from scratch. What should i purchase to replace a 7.2 design with a Denon receiver with a Sony 65 led
They are starting to block streaming services like Pandora and Sirius XM unless you update the app. Can't even remove and re-add the services unless you update.
We have just bought a new Samsung S92C OLED TV and have spent all weekend trying to get it to connect to the Sonos Beam. I have now read (and tried) the recommendations here of unplugging everything, turning off modem etc and nothing has helped.I wish I had known before this would be such an issue as wanted to add other sonos products to create a home theatre.Has anyone been able to resolve this issue please 🙏 or have any other advice?
There is an existing topic (6 years old), tagged as “Answered” but it has not been answered! If Sonos is waiting for technical proposals/advice/solution to start developing this feature, here is my 2 cents that Sonos can either: Enable Sonos speakers to be members of different groups, as well as surround group simultaneously. Make Surround group speakers available to be chosen individually as the streaming speakers (e.g. Airplay) Worst case: add a feature to SONOS app to be able to create different templates/profiles/configs and switch between them. Or at least add a feature to Surround group to be able to adjust volume for each individual speakers and of course a “Reset” button to put it back to what SONOS app thinks is the best setting. Similar to all other scenarios in the link above, I can only stream music to ALL speakers in Surround group or NONE. The pity is, if I am streaming music lets say only from my iPhone, I do not want the ARC to have the same volume as the Era 300s! I
I understand Sonos removed volume control from the IOS app using the phone volume buttons some time back. Are there any plans to bring this back? Right now the volume slider is so small that 90% of time when I touch it to change the volume it doesn’t respond. Very frustrating. One additional way of solving this is add up and down arrows somewhere near the volume - note: they need to be large enough and responsive enough to be useful.

Dear managers at Sonos:Could you please, please, please concentrate on improving the new app as quickly as you can with emphasis on making it play music through Sonos speakers? It is well over a month after you promised that the new app would be a great improvement over the previous app. It is still a disaster. About half the time it won’t connect to Sonos speakers. It still comes with messages either saying that there are no Sonos products connected, no services or simply can’t play music for some unknown reason. Then, when it finally grants me the ability to hear some music, it randomly cuts off speakers and songs. What’s up with that? It almost seems like you have gone out of your way to sabotage the Sonos system. When can we expect an app that plays music over Sonos speakers and does it consistently?P.S. I have spent so much time on your mess over the past month that I think it would have been cheaper to hire a musician to play music at my house every day.
I'm thinking of changing my two surround play 1 speakers to two era 300. Compared to the current location, I thought of putting my new era 300 slightly more to the left and slightly lower down (at ear level). ( see picture)But I'm worried that my sloping ceiling (on the right) will ruin the dolby atmos effect. Some thoughts? My arc and sub are located where the photo was taken
I briefly used the new app on one device as i in advertantly updated on an Apple tablet. I was able to use some functions but was asked to sign in for others. Otherwise all my mobile devices are on the last version of S2 and i have not updated any speaker/device hardware and accordingly New App does not work on the one device any longer.I contacted Sonos support to understand if a sign in is required to use the new app for routine functions. In S2, i only needed to sign in, turn on location, bluetooth to provision a new device and then i promptly signed out. Support says that i do not need to be signed in to use my speakers. However as i have read many of the threads and posts here, i am unclear as to whether sign in is actually required to the things i did before ie play music, build playlists, que management, volume changes, speaker groupings etc.Could i please ask for your expert thoughts on whether i will be able to continue to use my speakers without sign in? As you might infer, b
Ever since we took the plunge for S2 (including upgrading/purchasing 6 new Sonos unit for S2 compatibility) it’s been a real mess (system stability and WiFi issues)! The iOS version of the S2 app is very slow to load, lags almost always, and has a terrible screen refresh rate compared to ANY iOS app we have in the household. Now 20-40 seconds might not seem like long for an iPhone/Pad app to load/refresh, but if you’re trying to get some quick control over the volume or switching songs this is a STUPID amount of time! S1 was almost instant across all platforms and apps. While I realize Apple can take some blame for issues with iOS apps, why is S2 slow on PC and Amazon Fire (Android) devices as well? I’m guessing I’m not the only one, but Sonos sure seem slow to address this no matter how many times I’ve reported it to support. Anyone else think this degrades the Sonos experience beyond the obvious annoyances (especially compared to the hundred or so other apps we use with NO laggi
I use Apple Music service with iPhone's Music application. My understanding is below. Then the received music data are sent to Sonos Amp via Airplay, and I listen the sound from speaker that are connected Sonos Amp. And I'd like to know that, in case that Apple Music is played back with Sonos application, the music data of Apple Music are directly got from the server on internet. Is it right ?
If I have two pairs of speakers can they be controlled separately? will they both have to be on the same source and at the same volume?
I do not have a stable WIFI connection, can I use my mobile device's hotspot for setup for the move2?
We have a 1,500 SF house and are looking for a system that would include a turntable in the living room with speakers in the living room, dining room, kitchen and a portable one to take in the front yard or back yard. I have been trying to find something that helps us “build a system” but can’t find anything. Does anyone have a recommendation on products to get for us to use the turntable, hook up to AppleMusic, maybe one TV in the three rooms and one portable for outdoor use?
How do I delete old Sonos Playlists? They show and when using the edit option the delete icon is disabled. And when viewing the playlist itself there also is no option to delete.is this yet another broken not working issue of the new app or is it a usability issue that the new app is not made for actual human interaction without having psychic powers and I just cannot find it? And if so can someone who has either psychic powers or who developed it and forgot to tel us users not involved in writing our the flow diagrams where which feature is hidden to help? ;) Guessing nobody knows? Hi Re the new sonos app released May 2024 and the voiceover screen reader for IOS. I’m aware that since it’s launch in May 2024 the user experience for blind people using the app with the voiceover screen reader in IOS has been less than fantastic! as a blind person and voiceover user myself, I’m also well aware that sonos have done a lot of work to address problems for voiceover users following the initial release of the new version of the app. my question is are all of the improvments for use of the app with voiceover now included in the app as of the end of June 2024? or, are there more improvements scheduled for voiceover users during july? I’m currently running the last version of the system software and app prior to 7th may, but would like to update not least to take advantage of support for Apple Music Lossless. I would appreciate any advice from Sonos Staff, or others who have a greater knowledge of the forthcoming software releases. Thanks for your help, Angus.
I have a TP-Link Mesh dual band router. The Roam automatically connects to the 5 ghz band but will then drop off / disconnect within an hour. How do I steer it to connect to the 2.4 ghx band?
How do I get the surroundsound to work on my System? Everything is hooked up to my Samsung 68 inch and the Play bar works fine, but I get practically no music or movie sound out of the play speakers.
