It would be great if sleep timer were available at a higher level. I use this all the time and it requires four clicks to get to the setting panel.

Hi Why was there no earthnet cables in my play5 and sub when they were in play1's and sound bar

I am looking for anyone who has heard a pair of play 5's vs Play play 1's + sub? Performance differences?

I currently use the Sonos app on my phone to control my speaker system and it works great. However, when I go onto my app and open the playlists I've moved over from spotify to "My Sonos", I am unable to easily changed the order of the playlist or search for any particular artist on that playlist. Example: playlist "Liked from Radio" shows up only one way, with the newest music all the way at the bottom. Since this playlist has a few hundred songs, I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to play my newest music. There are no filters that allow me to view the playlist from newest-oldest, nor are there any filters that all me to search the playlist for a specific artist whose songs are on it (example: avicii). The only option available is the "Edit Playlist" option which is a huge hassle because I have to manually go all the way to the bottom and drag the song all the way to the top. If you guys could find a way to add in this filter option, I think it would be a boost to the us

Is it possible to stop the mandatory software updates? I would prefer to decide when and if I update my controller and system software. As I see it if I am happy with how my system is working why should I go through the hassle and risk making my system worse. I am very unhappy with the last iOS APP and the only reason I updated it was because the old app stopped working SONOS said they need it running on the latest software. It would make sense for SONOS to notify me of a update but until I decide to do the update my system should still be functional.

I've already got a PLAYBASE and SUB, but looking to toss in a couple more speakers for a 5.1 setup. Would you recommend PLAY:1 or PLAY:3?

Is it possible to add an extra Play 1 to my 5.1 set up? I have a playbar with sub and two rear play 1 set up in my lounge. However I have recently extended the lounge so its much larger than before. I was wondering if it was possible to add an extra Play 1 in the part of the room I extended to have 3 rear speakers in essence. Rather than remove the existing Play one and move it to that part of the room. As if I do that I will need to plaster over where the speaker was and its been recently decorated. I know it would have been easier moving the speaker when the renovations were taking place but I didn't 😞

Upgraded to 8.2 yesterday, and my Pandora stations are suddenly listed by date added, rather than alphabetically. I can see no way to change the sorting method back to alphabetical. This makes it rather inconvenient to browse my stations. If there is a way to re-sort, I would appreciate the tip. If not, it would be helpful for Sonos to make both sort methods available, rather than eliminating one in favor of another.

I have an Echo in my LR and Sonos speakers in other rooms. Does anyone know if/when we will be able to create a group of Echo and Sonos speakers so the music is synced in all the rooms?

Request if Sonos wireless headphones might be considered for the development team. These can be very useful when needing to run the system in privacy...i.e..late at night when working or studying so as not to disturb others in the household or office.

I would like to request a feature to be added to the apps. I generally use my TV Autoplay so that watching TV is a priority, and often also use my computer to stream online. However, when listening to music or radio, any notification on the computer automatically switches to TV. It would be good to have a quick way of switching TV Autoplay on and off in the app, without having to dive down into the menu in order to control this.

I have Sonos on a NAS into my router. It is accessible/controlled via apps on 3 iphones, 2 Ipads, 1 Microsoft Surface, 1 Lenovo and I Apple Macbook pro 13' retina (late 2013). All work great. Occassionally one of other will have a problem when a Sonos controller update is applied. This time it is the Apple Macbook. It is saying that there is no Sonos available try connecting to the correct network. The Macbook is on the correct network. I have tried 1. Connect to existing system. Following the instructions as the app walks through I can not get any connection to the speaker. 2. Uninstalled the app on the Macbook and reinstalled. Got the same result 3. Tried as a new install but the lights on the speaker show as solid white so the app advises that there speaker is already set up, to add, continue. Pressing next takes me back to the screen instruction to confirm is a green light is on. So around in circles Can you please advise what other actions I can to to get back to where I w

I would like to have options to configure how the cross-fade works. Ideally, there would be two settings for this. How many seconds from the end of the song to start the cross-fade and the length of time in seconds the cross-fade should take. For example, start the cross fade 20 seconds before the song ends and cross-fade for 9 seconds.

A Sonos user would like to have the Radio station icons diplayed when saved in the My Radio Station Icons. Currently the icon does not show up in My Radio Station: What do you think about it?

I love the look-and-feel of the new app (running it on an iPad 2, iPhone 5C & an iPhone 3Gs in guided access mode as a dedicated controller). There was a slight learning curve - especially finding how to change rooms, enable cross fade & play tracks in the queue in a random order. I like the new layout of the main screen but was wondering is it possible to personalise the icons used under Sonos Favourites? I'm not really a fan of the size of these icons as they are significantly larger than the ones above them (ie. Sonos Playlist, Music Library, This iPad, Line In, Radio & Add Music Services) I have 4 items in my Sonus Favourites:- a Radio Station (displays station logo), a couple of shortcuts to two folders in my music library which contain playlists of artist compilations & new albums and a shortcut to one large playlist (not a Sonos Playlist) containing several hundred of my favourite tracks. I would really like an option to get true 5.1 surround sound using 4x PLAY speakers, the PLAYBAR and the SUB. I have a decent sized lounge room and I've had a listen to the PLAYBAR + 2x PLAY:1 speakers + SUB at a mate's house and I'm disappointed at the soundstage across the front.  Whilst you get an idea of stereo sound from the PLAYBAR (and the PLAY:1s at the rear do a great job) you can still hear that all the sound from the front three speakers is really coming from one spot in the middle. I currently have a very decent 5.1 system with 2x floor standing speakers for Front L & R, a matching speaker for the Centre and 2x smaller floor standing speakers for Rear L & R as well as a sub. These speakers, particularly across the front, deliver really good stereo imaging and a very wide soundstage. I want to reduce the clutter and cables though and the idea of replacing this with some Sonos kit is very appealing. I'd love to be able to hook up 2x PLAY:3 speakers + the PLAYB

I can’t get 5.1 output from my Samsung UE50JU6800k tv. I have the Soundbar connected via digital optical cable but when I check the settings in Sonos app it says stereo. Does anyone know the settings to get 5.1 sound output please?

I must say..I started out with a Sonos Play 5 2nd Generation and when I heard the sound out of it I bought 2 Play 1s with stands...Today I bought a turntable and the Connect Amp unit..Down the road Im going to add 2 more Play 1s and then I'll be streaming to 5 speakers...The fact it runs on Bluetooth is fantastic!!! I cant wait to twirl some vinyl on it. Peace...Im Bob and it is nice to meet everyone!

I've seen some other posts here about the Play 5 no longer turning on and I'm in the same situation now. The light doesn't turn on and the unit won't respond, even when attempting a factory reset. It seems like a common fault, judging by a quick Google search. So I checked the paperwork and found that I bought it 2 years and 6 months ago (almost to the day) which means the warranty expired 6 months ago. In that time, I've bought two Play 1s and I've been considering a Playbar but after speaking to Sonos Support, I'm seriously considering selling them all and buying a different system! So I rang support and was told in no uncertain terms that I'd have to pay for a replacement, even though this seemed like a common fault according to this forum and others. £99 for a replacement! Some of the other posts have mentioned that their units were faulty outside the warranty but they had replacements sent for free! Anybody know why others have been looked after in this way but I have to fork o

Now that TuneIn no longer accepts new radiostations being added it would be nice if Sonos could make the process of adding radiostreams easier AND I strongly recommend Sonos to let the user being able to switch between broadcast providers. The model turntable I just ordered from you...Does it definitely come with the preamp built in??? I see they have many different turntables. I know Technics need a preamp...The turntable you are selling must be the pro-ject essential III Phono Model...Please confirm this Thanks Bob

I'd love to see support for Multiple Sonos User profiles. For example, my music is in one library, my kids and wife have music in another location. You allow multiple file locations to be indexed, it would be great if I could set up 1 master Sonos profile, then each member of my family, including myself, would set up there own account under the master and choose what Library\locations and music services would show up under their profile.
