I just recently purchased a Sonos Arc for my 2017 LG B7 OLED, which is Atmos and ARC compatible. I have a brand new Chromecast with Google TV and an XBOX One X (both Atmost compatible) hooked up to the TV, then running audio to the Sonos Arc via the HDMI ARC out (not eARC). All devices and TV set to bitstream/non-PCM. When I use my LG TV’s internal streaming apps, audio/video sync is perfect, including Atmos content on Netflix, Vudu etc. Verified via Sonos app that it is receiving full Atmos signal. When I try to listen to Dolby content coming from my external devices, the audio is noticeably behind the video.Dolby Atmos content from the Chromecast or Xbox works but there is significant delay to the point of unwatchability Non-Atmos Dolby 5.1 content from Chromecast or Xbox is a little bit delayed… noticeable if you’re looking for it. PCM audio from Chromecast or Xbox has no sync issues. I’ve messed with all the various audio settings in my TV to make sure any sort of additional proces
I haven't been able to find the option yet in the SONOS App but it is easily found in the Bose App and most other apps that open a native version of an application . In the Bose app you see a button that just say “Open Spotify” and it will take you to the actual application even though the Bose app also has a native spotify functionality.
I have my music library on my iMac, but I have to be logged on to my account to play music through my iPad. Why do I need to be logged on to play the music? If the iMac is on then surely I should be able to access the music. Hope someone can help.thanks.
Playbar TV sound goes off from time to time when changing channels? Fast forward or return will usually turn it back on. Sound goes off not power. This occurs with both sat tv box and smart tv wifi feed. Thanks
Any fellow nurses or first responders excited to read about the 30% discount on up to $2500 only to find a very different experience when applying the verified (id.me) codes? Seems to be suddenly now 20% on just $1000…that's a big change. Frustrating that all of the articles posted indicated the 30% would last though 2020. No specific details or changes seem to be communicated on the site. What gives?
I have a TCL Roku TV and a cable box, each or which has their own remote. While I’m watching TV both remotes control the volume on the Beam. But if I’m listening to music, when I change the volume on the remotes, the volume doesn’t change. The volume level appears on the TV when I try to change it, but the volume doesn’t change. I had a Polk Audio sound bar before and the remotes changed the volume when I was listening to music. I assume there is something wrong and that this is not supposed to be the way it works?

I upgraded to the arc but now am getting drop outs.I’m using HDMI 2.1 cable with eArc enabled on the tv - ive also tried it wthoutIt works for about half hour then the arc just drops and cannot be seen even through the app - ?+LS+RSi have to reset and add the arc again, Ive reset all 3 speakers but still happens. No sound through the arc and dissappears from the app - flashing white light. Just before it drops, it makes several clicking noises As I said with the beam it works perfect with no issues Thanks in advance

When I move away and sit on the couch 3m as way it dose not work. Both are brand new and swapped out to brand new batteries. Sitting on the couch I can only change the volume with the Sonos app. Any idea how to fix this please? move seen someone else on here with the same problem with no answers to the problem. thank you
Hi, my play 5 which I think is about 4 years old now has suddenly stopped working. Tried hard reset holding mute whilst putting power cord back in. Tried a different power cord. Nothing works, completely unresponsive. What are my options? Thanks.
I have a total of 7 other speakers, the boost and now the port that I have connected my home theater to. When playing music all of my speakers are now out of sync with timing. I’ve done all the updates. Tried all 3 channels, restarted the network and restarted each speaker. Is there something else I can do to make them all play at the same time because my house now sounds like a echo chamber.
It’s probably right in front of my eyes but for some reason I can’t seem to find the podcasts section when I browse the Spotify source in this newest sonos for windows app? I could have sworn there was a podcasts section after I tap into spotify but now all I see is playlists, songs, albums when I go to my library. Has it been removed?
Hi folks, Recently upgraded my Play 5 Gen 1 for a Sonos Beam. Fairly happy with it though music playback was probably better on the speaker. Anyway my question is regarding TV audio input. I am only using the beam for my TV audio (ie no extra surround speakers). Would I get any benefit from using Dolby 5.1 source from my TV ARC output or am I better sticking to PCM stereo? I have read a lot of conflicting things online. It seems there are less issues with dialogue sync using PCM but Dolby 5.1 is better "quality" - however I am not sure if this makes any difference if I am only using the beam on its own. Thanks in advance if anyone knowledgeable can help!
HiJust bought a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB to go with my Sonos in the house.I plugged it into my Play5 and it sounds pretty good but I get a low boom distortion at higher volume. The volume on the line in is at max and I’ve checked the connections. Is this showing the limits of the pre amp on the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB? If so can I improve the sound using another stand alone pre- amp? Many thanks in advanceNNW64
Here’s my setup: Sonos Arc - connected through supplied HDMI cable to ARC port on my TV - Vizio P55-F1 (2018) Issue: VIzio remote control will only turn down the volume, not up. Power Cycle seems to resolve for a short period of time. Also it seems I can only turn the volume up if the Arc sees the IR signal from the remote, If I make sure only the TV can pick up the IR signal it notices that I have pushed a button and displays the volume level on the screen but will not increase or decrease the volume. TV volume controls work fine if the Arc is unplugged. Also noticed the volume controls on the back of the TV won’t turn the Arc volume up or down either. Hoping someone can point me in the direction of a fix, or at least wanting to see if others are having a similar issue.
Hi, What is the lenght of sonos one power cable provided in the box? Thanks,

Hi Sonos support. Sonos arc + sub. Playing Netflix on Philips 55pus7272/12 Sometimes the sound is crackling and distorting. It changes to some very, very harsh, metallic, robotic sounds. Have to stop the streaming immediately because it's so loud and very, very bad sounding.
Hi I have a Turntable and a CD player which I want to connect to a Sonos port, I also have a pre amp for TT, can’t find way to get to work help please
Hello, I’ve purchased a Sonos Beam and of course because I know little about electronics, I’ve realized that my old but dependable Westinghouse LVM-42w2 TV lacks the input/output I need to make it the two work together. The Beam’s optical adapter does not match any of the ports. I’ve read about converters, but I have no idea if any of them would make the two work together or not. If not, this is not a big deal, I just need to upgrade my TV. Any ideas would be appreciated, happy to provide more info if needed. Thank you!
Afternoon All, I have jsut got the xbox serices X and they ahve remoed the optial out port which i used to connect my xbox x to the playbar with. So now my only option is to go back to the optical out from the TV’s conenction box. The problem with that is the audio is then delayayed when i set the xbox to bitstream and DD. This seem to be a well know problem with no obviouse solution. I have a couple of questions would a spliter like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Extractor-Splitter-Optical-Toslink-Converter/dp/B08CK59T9X/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=hdmi+optical+splitter+60hz+xbox&qid=1605015709&sr=8-3 solve my problem and give me the option of puting the optical out from there rather than the TV? Or is i sold the playbar and got the beam and used hdmi arc would that work or would I still get the same audit lag. (note there is no way to adjust the tv, xbox or sonos to fix audio lag only video lag :-( ) Any help you can provide would be appreciated
Hi, I'm moving into a property which has 5 sonos in ceiling speakers in a room. Left, center, right and two rear. No amp is currently connected. I Intend to use tv arc port on sonos amp as part of a 5.0/5.1 configuration. How many sonos amps are needed to create 5.1 configuration and how should each speaker be wired? Ie how is the Center phantom speaker wired?
