Playbar TV sound goes off from time to time when changing channels? Fast forward or return will usually turn it back on. Sound goes off not power. This occurs with both sat tv box and smart tv wifi feed.

Sounds like your TV is failing to re-establish the digital optical signal to the PLAYBAR in certain situations. If it were an issue with the PLAYBAR, it would also occur when using it to stream music.
I’d be double checking that the firmware on the TV, and the Satellite TV box are up to date, and both locked to Dolby Digital output only.
