Hopefully I can give a short description of my problem and include all relevant info. Products in system:Netgear Orbi (main plus 1 satelite) Sonos Bean (2) Sonos One SL Sonos Sub Mini Sony BRAVIA XR A80JDetails:Bean is connected to TV via eArc All components are connected wireless via Orbi All Sonos are in app and in the “Den” room TV Autoplay is to the right Upgroup on Autoplay to the right Problem: What seems to happen is almost every time I go to use the speakers for some reason the only one that will play sound is the Beam. I use the speakers in two situations and in both cases the only speaker that gives sound is the Beam. My two use cases are:normal TV watching mostly through an Apple TV using the Apple TV to steam my MacBook to the TV When I stream to the TV I don't use the audio from the MacBook and instead use my phone for music and use Airplay to stream Apple Music for background noise. I’m not sure why or how but 80%+ of the time when I come back the next day and attempt to
I have a Philips 50PUS7505/12 and just purchased a Beam Gen 2 which is connected via HDMI ARC.I have set the TV settings to allow CEC and ARC on. I have set Philips TV to Multichannel (Bypass) and everything is working perfectly from my Fire TV 4K Max. however every so often, I think when I play Dolby atmos films on fire tv apps (Apple TV app, Netflix’s, Disney Plus) , I lose all sound through the beam. the only way to get sound back is to switch TV multichannel off and back on again. it works and the. Couple days off again. Is this a known issue?is this because I have ARC HDMI and not EARC?is this a Philips Issue, Fire TV Issue or Sonos. please help
I have a Move, Roam SL, Play 1, and two Play 3’s connected to my home wifi (5g) but the Beam Gen 2 won’t connect. It doesn’t even see the network. I’ve been through tech support 3 times and the Beam still won’t see or connect to the network even after I manually put in the network name and password. The Beam is a new device.Anyone have any suggestions?
I have 4 play one and 1 playbar . Recently upgraded to 2 Sonos one and a sub mini and disconnected my existing play one I tried to group the playbar with Sonos one and sub mini to get a 5.1 but it’s not working . I have grouped Sonos one and sub mini as one unit and playbar as another. everytime I pay Tv or music I try to group the two but it’s not working . Only playbar works and it plays only on playbar how to rectify this
I just bought Sonos ARC and thought I was going to be blown away. The sound does not fill the room Instead the volume is very low and not very involving. I have to turn it up a lot to make it better than the TV. I have a Sony Bravia A80J. For example, if I keep it at 30 on the TV, on the soundbar I have to bring it to 45-50 to have the same sensations. I tried all kinds of settings.. I raised the highs and lows even from the Sonos APP. Has anyone else had the same experience? How did he solve the problem?I haven't used trueplay yet

Hi I see similar questions answered here and here but just wanted to double check. We have a living room with at tv and arc sound bar and are considering installing ceiling speakers in the kitchen which extends back behind the couch that is the main TV viewing area. The ceiling speakers would be both for music and for extending the TV audio into the kitchen. The idea is that instead of needing to turn up the soundbar loud enough to hear it well in the kitchen / dining area (which can also see the TV), we could play the audio through the ceiling speakers (which would be connected to an AMP). However, reading previous forums, it appears that this will result in the audio in the ceiling speakers being out of sync with the soundbar. In this post, someone mentions> You could use an optical connection instead of Arc. Use a splitter to split the optical audio to the Beam and Amp to play the same audio at the same time, 2 ungrouped rooms. This gets more complicated though.Has anybody tried t
Hi all,1 was wondering if someone could offer me some advice.I've recently purchased a ray for my gaming room, and I'm seeing some noticeable audio lag. I am about to fit 2Sonos Ones as rear surrounds and would like to get all my settings correct first.PS5 is connected to TV via 8k HDMI Cable, tv ray is connected to TV Optical Output.TV is a Samsung UE55RU7470UXXU.I've played around with the TV audio delay setting which effects HDMI-ARC, which I know the ray doesn't use, and SPDIF. I've also played with the audio delay sync within the Sonos App. I'm still not able to find a solution. My settings are as follows:PS5 Settings: Audio output - Output Device: HDMI Device (Sound Bar) Audio output - HDMI device type: Sound BarAudio output - Audio Format: DolbyTV Settings: Sound Output: Optical Sound Mode: Game Digital Audio Format: Dolby Digital Digital Output AudioDelay: 100Sonos app is showing Dolby Digital 5.1 on the Ray.Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I have an LG 75up707PUD, newest Apple TV, hue sync. I am trying to get the best sound. I see I need to go to Audio format on the Apple TV and go under immersive audio but I don’t see that option. When I read the apple articles it mentions connecting the Apple TV directly to the soundbar, but that is not an option with the arc. Maybe this is an apple issue and I need to talk to them. It just seems like they are telling me that is because of the lack of soundbar pass through. Apple 4k TV -> hue sync → tv→ Sonos arc
Hey!I recently bought an amp, sub and two fives. The amp is also connected to a pair of Dali Fazon F5 speakers.I cant get the trueplay to show in the s2 app at all, I guess it doesnt work for the amp connected to the non-sonos speakers but I thought it would work with the sub and two fives? They are added to the system as surround.I have iOS 16.2 and Sonos s2 14.20
Have Vizio tv set to bitstream. Have playbar, 2 surrounds and sub all combined. After just connecting coax for antenna now some channels audio stutters through playbar like a robot so you can not hear. Some channels are fine and does same streaming through roku stick. PCM does not have an issue. If I turn off tv and back on or unplug tv and playbar will then work until I turn channels or input. It is random. Have not had a problem having everything for @7 years. Checked for updates says up to date.thanks
Hi allive had this problem for a while now, tried all settings etc.I have a LG C2 connected to Sonos arc via earc/arc port. 2 ones for surround and sub.no problems whatsoever when toggled to arc, plays perfectly,no issues.as soon as earc is toggled on , every few minutes a slight glitch/drop in sound occurs, only brief, but noticeable. TV problem or Sonos problem?
I recently purchased a Samsung Q60BA I connected my Sonos Amp via hdmi arc. I am running the audio through my analog out speakers. I have the delay set at 2000. I turned off all processing on the tv audio and I still have a slight delay. I also grouped my beam to use as a center speaker. Even when the beam is turned all the way down I notice a small delay through the analog connected speakers. Any suggestions?
So, have a TCL Model#55S546 and I am streaming via a 4k Fire Stick. This is hooked up via an EARC to a Beam(Gen 1). There is a lip sync issue that is extremely noticeable. Any advice? On the sound setting on the TV, it's set to AUTO. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
Hi All,In my 2nd TV room I have a LG C7 connected to optical to a Sonos playbar (with Sonos 1 “surrounds” and Sonos subwoofer). Obviously had this for many years and now with the advent of lots of streaming material being 5.1, Atmos etc. I’m thinking of upgrading the playbar to a Beam to get the full benefit of 5.1, Atmos etc. The listening area is relatively small ~3m x ~3m (dining area just off kitchen).I working on the assumption that the C7 eARC will output Atmos to the Beam (my C9 in the lounge does) and that the sonos 1 (original) / subwoofer (original) will all work? The speakers currently only work with the S1 app but the Beam is S2 - do I need to worry about that?
Hi, I currently own the Sonos Play 1 speakers but now want to add a sound bar that will tie in with them. I’m very limited for space and would prefer the absolute least amount of cables for connecting my sound bar to the tv. Can anyone recommend the easiet/cleanest sound bar option that I can connect to the rest of my system. Looking to mount it on the wall right under the TV.thanks for your help.
