Hi ! My soundbar made a quick repeatable sound and after a few seconds a very annoying and loud sound at about one second and till then I have no sound .i have a soundbar (arc ultra black), 2 Era 300, and a sub woofer . I have a 7.5.1 system !  do anybody knows what happened!  

I have an install with a Samsung TV, Arc ultra, sonos amp with 2 ceiling mounted surround speakers. I can use the rear speakers when playing through the Sonos app but no sound from the rear with TV usage. I thought I would hear surround sound. Thoughts/help appreciated

Hey allheres the go, I’ve got a Ray, Sonos 1 and play 3 that are all connected to the same network and running fine.  The issue I have is that the Ray is plugged via optical cable into the tv and when watching the TV if you want to play music elsewhere in the house on the play1 or 3 when you open the app and change the speaker, the tv playback disconnects.  Note, I am not grouping speakers. I am trying to play music on another speaker while the tv sound is playing.  Any suggestions on how to change speakers without disturbing others? cheers 

So, i installed qobuzz app on my Hisense android tv. The tv is connected to my sonos arc by hdmi / e-arc.  when i did that, the TV up in my desktop/phone as a qobuz connect device (in addition to tv w/ google cast). and i am able to play on my sonos speaker through the “tv” connect. We know that Qobuz cannot connect to Sonos devices directly. (please!) The TV and the qobuz app says hi res music when playing on the Tv app. It plays through the Sonos Arc fine and sounds great.  Now, on the sonos app nothing is displayed as music or anything qobuz or controllable music for that speaker, as its says its gray TV Audio / HDMI / stereo PCM. As if the tv is playing audio.  How confident can i be that Sonos speaker is actually receiving and playing hi res audio from Qobuz android tv? Want to make sure the Sonos speaker is not downsampling it somehow.  I know i can control Qobuz from the Sonos app (its installed) but the Sonos app is not great to use, and it does not connect/sync with the Qobuz

In moving, there is a black clip in back of sonos in optical hole that connects to the cable. In that hole is a black piece of plastic I think responsible for a tight connection.  Mine broke and need repair.  Best Buy and a few other sources say send back to Sonos and they can help. Anyone have this issue before? Is this monitored by their team? How do I get touch with them if they dont reply here?

Sinne last update beam gen 2 mute à LOT.also when not connected to anything but streamingincrease volume helps 1 second and then muterebot of soundbar does not helpsomeone got any idea?

Hello,My Beam gen2 soundbar plays the sound of a TV program for about twenty seconds even though my TV is off ?! This happens almost every day and at any time of the day or night. How can I fix this problem please?Thanks a lot for any help !Regards

My Arc Ultra works fine, but then when adding additional speakers/different room/or a group it goes silent with TV audio. Works as surrounds but I'm using them for multi rooms. Worked the first night I used it. Music works fine for all. No TV audio for all, just arc. Any suggestions?

1 of my Era 300 speakers will no longer connect to wi-fi. I press the button on the back. Light continues blinking white. Never turns blue. I have unplugged . Updated all Sonos products. 1 speaker will not connect.

Hi everyone,Hoping someone from the community or Sonos team can help. I’ve spent hours trying to get this working and have hit a wall.My setup: Arc Ultra (connected via WiFi) 2 × Era 300 (set as surrounds) Sub + Sub 4 Everything appears correctly in the app. The Arc Ultra is connected to WiFi (not Ethernet), and I made sure WiFi is enabled. The Era 300s show up as left and right surrounds, and both subs are listed and bonded to the Arc room. I’ve increased surround and sub audio levels to max. I’ve also confirmed that I’m playing Dolby Atmos and 5.1 content (shows up as such in the Sonos app), using Apple TV 4K.The problem:I’m getting no sound whatsoever from the Era 300s or the subs. The only time I hear anything from them is the pairing chime during initial setup. After that, complete silence. Hi, I have a Sonos Arc, Sub 3 and 2xEra 300’s as a Home Theatre Set up. Since I have had the 2x Era300’s (2023) i have consistently had audio drop out on an intermittent basis from the Era’s no matter where the source is coming from. Over the last two years I have done everything - changing channels 1, 6 or 11, resetting wifi, powering off and on etc etc.Today Level 2 support have confirmed that “I wanted to share some important information regarding the use of EU-version Sonos products in the UK and how this may affect your system’s wireless performance.Sonos products designed for the EU market (Sonos Arc and Sonos Sub) can only connect to a more limited range of 5 GHz bands when used in the UK. As a result, you may experience reduced wireless performance or connectivity issues. One or more of your Sonos devices may support different wireless regions. This mismatch can cause problems, especially when using them together in a home theater configuration.We strongly recommend using Sonos

I'm currently having issues with 5.1 surround sound delivery to my Sonos speakers.Current set up is:Sky stream -> HDMI -> Hisense TV -> HDMI ARC -> Gen 1 Beam + Sonos One + Sonos One SLI have audio processing on both the Sky Stream and TV set to pass through. Sonos app shows that it is receiving Dolby Digital 5.1. However, there is no sound coming from either Sonos One.I have confirmed via different apps on the Sky Puck, through films that should support 5.1.All speakers work as intended for audio from Spotify. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I have an original Playbar (paired with a Sub Mini).  Unit is in good shape, and plays music brilliantly.  The problem is TV output delivers very loud rumbling from any reasonable amount of bass (sounds almost like the shelf is vibrating - it isn’t).  It's a new TV, output is optical, and output is set to PCM.  Any thoughts?

I'm having an issue with getting 5.1 (always shows SPDIF Stereo PCM in Sonos app) to work despite having the following equipment:- Beam (gen 1)- Sub Mini- 2x Play 1s I use a nvidia shield for playing media, but unfortunately, my projector does not support audio passthrough or have eARC so I have used a hdmi switch that supports dolby/dts 5.1.I understand that (without replacing my projector or buying an audio extractor) my current set-up won't work for dolby digital or dolby atmos, but it should still support 5.1. Any tips to fix this? Thanks in advance!

First before we start, buying another amp is not in question.Current Setup:1x Amp 1x 3rd party Sub, FYI it does work in 4.1 2x 3rd party ceiling, 2x era 100.Problem is the front and back audio need to be swapped I can not find it in the mobile app. Anyone know how to get this working correctly.  

Hello, I’m wondering if this is the expected behavior for changing the surround level slider while listening to Apple Music in Atmos through the Sonos app on an Arc Ultra + Era 300 surround setup. When adjusting the slider, only the volume of the Era 300 outer-facing side drivers get louder/quieter; the inner-facing rear drivers do not have any audible volume change. In essence I can’t actually adjust the volume of the surrounds completely, as half of the surround drivers are at a fixed volume. I also want to clarify that I’m not referring to the height drivers — those are affected by the height slider as expected.

Ma question est de savoir si le Sonos Amp peut relier ma Sonos Beam et mes deux Sonos Play:1 de manière non filaire, et si cette configuration fonctionne bien. I am trying to do an outdoor set up for a projector. The equipment id like to use is:projectorscreenroku stickMove2 x 2Roam2 x 2 i cannot get the projector or Roku to connect to Sonos system. I purchased the amp, thinking that would solve the problem, alone with an hdmi audio extractor, but the audio still played through the projector.  Any tips??  

I have a Denon AV receiver with fabulous L & R wired front speakers. I also have a spare SONOS Beam. I want to combine the existing Denon L & R front speakers with the Beam, and two new SONOS Era 100’s for the rears and a subwoofer. Is this possible? If so, is there a schematic posted somewhere of how to do it? Thx…

Hello, I’m interested in using these components in my living room.What’s the best way to hook them up?I’m assuming it would look something like Apple TV > HDMI > Frame TV Connection Box > arc HDMI > Sonos Beam … but then what? Would the Beam and Amp be able to somehow sync wirelessly over WiFi?I’m new to Sonos, so I apologize if this is a dumb question 😂Thank you in advance for any advice!  

Okay, I bought a Beam Gen 2, 2 era100s to be used as surrounds and a Sub Mini. I set it up under my wife’s account using our wi-fi system. So, I go to Setting> your system, products & it shows the Beam, Era 100 Left surround, Era 100 Right surround and a sub mini. If I watch something in Tubi which I know is only in stereo in the Sonos app TV HDMI it shows Dolby Atmos. Same with YT. And there are no sounds from the surrounds but when I do True Play they play a sound. Have I got something set up wrong here?

Since the Arc Ultra has slightly elevated dialogue with speech enhancement off, I propose adding a speech enhancement category called “true mix” or “enhanced mix” in which the volume of the left and right channel audio matches the real-life mix. Or lower the speech and surround volume to match l-r channel volume.  Leave the other speech enhancements in their current form so if people like them they can still use them as is. 

Is there a way to make night sound come on a timer?Like make the surround sound speakers turn off, turn the base down, and really amp up speach enhancement.  

Hi!Im going to build a small cinema in the room you can see on the picture. Its not an ideal room size, but it is what it is. My problem is that i want to have a reflective surface for the era 300 which currently dont have a reflectice surface to the left, just a open space that i want to “remove”  by putting up a “surface”, which can not be a full wall from floor to ceiling. Can i use a cabinet/closet (ORANGE in the picture) to create this “wall”, and hosw tall and big should it be to work? is it enough to be a little taller than the higth placement of the era 300? (I gave bougth the original Sonos stand)Thanks!
