I have an entertainment system with the specs below, which I’m trying to use the “Monster Bluetooth 2-in-1 Wireless Audio Adapter” to connect the entertainment system to our Moto Motion Audio Sofa and Recliner via Bluetooth. I can get the Samsung TV (native mode) to play through the Moto Motion by connecting to it via Bluetooth, but I’m unable to play through the Nvidia Shield / Sonos Arc Soundbar. The Nvidia has all our media apps. I was thinking if I could make the Sonos Arc accessible via Bluetooth, I might be able to get this to work. Any thoughts and guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Regards,JulioEntertainment System Specs:Samsung TV (UN75MU800DF) - doesn’t support two different audio out options like some of the newer modelsNvidia Shield (2019)

Will this play correctly as far as timing/delay/echo, etc? Will it sound right? Trueplay? How is sound processing and distribution handled for ARC Ultra connected to TV? Specifically, in the case of Atmos signal received, would the Arc Ultra send the original Atmos input to the Fives and Fives process it into stereo? Or would the Ultra decode the Atmos and send a PCM Stereo Mix to the Fives? Or would the Arc Ultra decode and only send the FL/FR channels to the Fives and disable its own L/R? Read in another forum someone has this working with option 2.3 but I didn’t see an announcement this was supported yet so am suspicious.

I’ve just got the Sky glass Tv and connected it fine to the Sonos Beam with Era 100’s and mini subi can hear sound coming out the soundbar but I don’t get home theatre surround sound like I did with my previous tv and Sonos Playbar music sounds amazing via the Sonos app but tv playback is basic, any ideas please 

Hi everyone,I’m hoping someone here can help me troubleshoot an issue with my Sonos Beam. Overnight, it stopped working properly with my LG Web OS TV.Here’s what’s happening:The Beam is connected via HDMI eARC, but it no longer auto-plays sound when the TV is on (even though auto-play is enabled in the Sonos app). I can only get sound if I manually select the TV as the source in the app. Our universal remote, which worked perfectly yesterday, can no longer control the Beam’s volume. I’ve tried reconnecting several IR remotes in the app, but none of them work.What I’ve tried so far:Resetting the TV and the Beam. Turning both devices off, unplugging them, and disconnecting all cables. Ensuring Simplink (CEC) is activated on the TV. Testing the HDMI eARC cable and another speaker with this TV — they worked fine. Testing the HDMI eARC cable with another TV and speaker — no issues there either

We have 20 foot high flat (not vaulted) ceiling. We have the Arc with 2 Era 100. The sound is terrible. It echoes and we can’t understand people talking in movies, the news, etc. Music doesn’t seem to sound too bad. Should we get the Beam or the new Arc? I called support line twice and both just read from a script and can’t tell me what we can do or buy to fix this. 

Watching TV with Sonos Arc, a powerful bang and sparkling sound appeared from Arc. I sounded like the whole speaker exploded, it was no sparks but I sounded terribly frightening. Speaker shut down, the I turned Arc on again and it sounded like before. Have anyone experienced this before ? I have two Arcs and the one that had this strange/undefinable loud sparking for 3 seconds, is a new/refurbished Sonos Speaker from Sonos Holland.    

Just got my new Sonos Arc Ultra/ Sub Gen 4/ 2 Era 300. Will be grateful if there is any article explain steps by step system configuration as Home Theater for first time.

I’ve got a client who would like to have rear surround and surround/height using 4 in ceiling speakers in his house with 2 AMP’s in conjunction with an Arc Ultra.  Is this possible or would it be better to just join the 4 speakers on one AMP to get the surround only?  It would be great for Sonos to be able to do 7.x and Atmos systems using their existing lineup of products rather than being stuck in the 5.x/simulated surround realms.  It would open a lot of doors in mid/high end retrofit applications.

Hi! Anyone else have a problem with two subs on the same system playing worse than one sub?I have the arc soundbar and a sub gen 3 and sub gen 4. When I connect both subs to the same area they play worse than just one. Sounds like they cancel each other out. Any tips on how to fix this?

I don't have a TV. I have a laptop, a Sonos Beam Gen 2, and an audio splitter(https://bungpung.com/products/4k-hdmi-earc-audio-adapter?srsltid=AfmBOorVBgo9DDIEh40_UG2sRzUs_0Xh5KGJAMACfUMiSl-KqfZMJHqB). I use the HDMI OUT of my laptop to the HDMI IN of the audio splitter, and the HDMI EARC of the audio splitter to the HDMI EARC of the soundbar. And I use the Dolby Atmos for Home Theater mode to pass through the audio to the soundbar when there is Dolby Atmos content.The Sonos app displays Dolby Atmos from the HDMI source, and the sound plays well. But one problem is that the volume is too low. When I watch Apple Music Dolby Atmos on the Sonos app, the volume is usually really satisfying at around 15. Hallo,ich habe mir im letzten Jahr eine Beam 2 gekauft. Seit einiger Zeit ist die Statusleuchte und der Touchscreen ohne Funktion. In der App ist aber beides eingeschaltet. I have a Beam gen2, 2 symfonisk bookshelf and 2 somfonisk picture frame that I wanna use for surround, but I can only add either the bookshelf or picture frame speakers - not all together  Any ideas on how to configure all into the surround setup ?

I keep "loosing" my Arc Ultra that has 2 x Symfonisk and a Sub Mini that make the surround sound. I have rebooted the WIFI and it sometimes kicks in. I have disconnected them and connected at least 3 times and getting tired of it. Any ideas on getting in more stable or just an on going work at Sonos?  

This might be a feature request that would improve usability of the Sonos system. When you have grouped some Sonos speakers and the TV is in this group I would like to adjust the volume of the group using the TV remote including muting. Scenario is when a phone call comes in or similar case when you need to mute or adjust volume level instantly.Technically this should be feasible because right now the TV remote controls all 5.1 speakers through HDMI ARC. And the Sonos system knows which speakers are grouped together. Volume adjustment when using the remote should be the same when adjusting the group volume bar in the App. Of course this feature should be optional managed in settings.  

Looking to add a SubMini to my current Playbar and Paly1 setup on my tv. Will the SubMini connect? I do not see the Playbar listed only the Beam. Thx!

Hello, I installed my Sonos Beam soundbar and paired it with two Sonos One SL speakers. They work well together. The Beam soundbar is connected to the HDMI Arc port. Unfortunately, when I turn on my TV, my system doesn't always connect automatically to the TV and the sound comes directly from the TV. I have to go through the app each time and reconfigure the TV in the system options. TV: Philips UHD 50PUS7906/12 Is this issue known and is there a solution?Thanks in advance.  

So I’ve had my Sonos arc ultra for a little over a week now and I’ve enjoyed it, but when trying to watch tv now it’s just not recognizing the hdmi arc anymore. It just shows tv hdmi on the app and the power is working but it’s not getting recognized at all. Really frustrating 

Hi all,I took the plunge 2 months ago and upgraded from Arc, Sub Gen 3 & 2xOne to Ultra, dual sub with Sub Gen 4 & 3, 2 x Era 300's. Absolutely loved it.In the last 48 hours though, I noticed Sub Gen 3 had dropped off and showed as 'Not Connected' in the app. I could not get it back into this set up or any other set up, seemed bricked but white status light still steady.I performed multiple hard resets on all the speakers (was not hitchless as both subs decided to not reveal the pin via NFC when setting back up, which definitely did work before) and even moved the problem sub away from the router (was extremely close before).Still had issues and ultimately resulted in the same result. I then reset the router and performed all of the above again. Still no joy.24 hours later, the sub 3 appeared as Connected so I went ahead and added back to the Arc Ultra. Even performed Trueplay (auto not advanced), was good for about 15 minutes and then it d

Hi there. New to Sonos and loving the Sonos Arc + Sub mini combo I have for my living room.I've recently bought two Era 100s to eventually act as rear surrounds when I move to a new place. Using them as a stereo pair in the office for now.I've noticed that adding the two speakers in the Sonos app appears to create a new system to join them to, rather than adding them to my existing one that has the Arc+Sub Mini. I've reset the Eras multiple times and readded but it keeps creating a new system. I understand this should add them to the existing system and I can have multiple rooms if i want?The Arc is wired into my LAN, and the Era 100s are joined to the WiFi SSD of the same VLAN (Unifi Dream Machine). Could the Arc being wired be causing issues joining the Eras?

After an update about two weeks ago the sound bar dropped off my Sonos One’s.  I have called support four times, spent a total of 6 hours on the phone and still nothing.  The Sonos update screwed something up.  

Hi! I have an Arc with Sub (Gen 3). I’d like to buy Era 100 as rear surround, but I can’t position them vertically at ear height. Can I position them orizzontally about 15 inches below the ears?Of course, TV & ARC are in front of me!Thank you

My TV has a Beam, sub and two SL speakers that form my living room surround set.  The two SL’s have just decided to disconnect with no changes to WiFi settings, router, or anything. Yet again I find this system so unreliable and frustrating. I’ve tried rebooting. No luck. Help. (Also, I don’t want to hear “move it closer to the router” nonsense! The router is 2 metres away!!) 

Has anyone noticed that the Sonos Arc Ultra in White has a slightly duller shade of white than the Sonos Arc in white … or is it just my eyes that are deceiving me haha?  I had the original arc in white, then upgraded to the arc ultra, and placed it in the same location, but to me eyes seems less bright white than the OG arc. I wonder if someone can confirm if there is in fact meant to be a shade difference (maybe as the ‘grill’ may be closer to speaker elements as it’s more compact in thickness) or is it just my eyes playing tricks haha  Thanks! 

Dear support team, I'like to use Sonos arc ultra together with a projector.Can I fix the Sonos ultra above the screen of the projector ? The bar would be pretty close from the ceiling (around 5 cm). Thanks and regardsNicolas

Hi, I have purchased a TCL Android tv. I tried connecting it with my Sonos beam using both eARC and optical cable. But no output is received. I tried many solutions suggested in other threads playing with the settings, but it just doesn't work. Any suggestions please? Has anyone else faced this issue?
