I have an original Playbar (paired with a Sub Mini).  Unit is in good shape, and plays music brilliantly.  The problem is TV output delivers very loud rumbling from any reasonable amount of bass (sounds almost like the shelf is vibrating - it isn’t).  It's a new TV, output is optical, and output is set to PCM.  Any thoughts?

First, check to see if there are any updates you need to apply, both to the TV itself, and the Sonos.

If this bass issue persists, turn down the bass using the Sonos controller, for just the video input, and not the streaming input, there are two controls there.

Finally, if you’re still having issues, call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

What section of the app are you referring to here?

The bass control is for the Sub as a whole, you can’t specify separate bass levels for video vs streaming?!

Apologies. I was extrapolating the surround ‘settings’, but you are correct, there is a single Sub volume setting.

But the rest of my post stands.

Appreciate the help all.  It’s not sub related.  I get the same rumbling with the sub disconnected.  Still fiddling.  Hope to find a solution.
