Hey guys, I just set up my brand new Arc + Sub in my living room, but I am getting no sound from my sub at all.  Both the Arc + Sub show as connected, and I can slide the “Sub Level” bar in my app, but nothing is coming from the sub. The light on the back is also a solid white.  Everything is connected to my Netgear Orbi Wi-Fi Mesh system (router + 2 satellites). I think the model is a RBR750.  Any help would be appreciated.  Diagnostic No: 192183842

I have the following components:AMP, ARC, AppleTV (AirPlay), SUB, OneSL (2x), Connect, Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB TurntableI want to be able to listen to Vinyl, play music via Airplay, and surround sound from TV via HDMI to the same set of speakers set up as 5.1.I am having trouble setting it up so it works this way. The AMP gets set up as a separate system from the Arc, OneSL, and Sub. Any advice on if it’s possible to do what I want and guidance on getting there would be welcome. Thanks!

Hey!Newbie here and asking for help.So I`ve been using Sonon beam since it came in the market and I`ve been happy with it, without any problems. The last 3 months i`ve started to experiece problems with itWhile playing sound from TV (Sony Bravia KDL-40NX700 linked via optical) everything works fine. After i turn off the tv and switch to Spotify or YouTube music, music starts playing withiut a problem for around a minute then pauses for some seconds, then starts playing again, then pauses etc. Beam is wired to my router.Any idea what the problem is?Thanks

Hi,I have an LG OLED GX TV connected to a Sonos Arc via HDMI with a Tidal HiFi subscription running on the LG Tidal app. However Tidal Dolby Atmos content plays on the Sonos Arc as “Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0” instead of “Dolby Atmos”, according to the Sonos app.My expectation that this set-up should result in Dolby Atmos output from the Arc is based on information from the Tidal website (here) and LG website (here)This is what I see on the Sonos app when playing Atmos content on the LG Tidal app:  And this is what I see when running Dolby Atmos content on the LG Netflix app (and what I was hoping to see for Tidal too):  Has anyone managed to get Tidal Atmos content working on a Sonos Arc through an LG TV running the Tidal app? And does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might change to make this set-up work?TIA. Simon

Hi! I have been reading up and trying everything I have found but can only get the ARC and Sonos to work for a few seconds and then it drops, and gets back once in a while for a few seconds. I have made a report at 699950988. Could it be the cable? Worth mentioning the TV connection has always been like this - ie not working - but was waiting for an update or something bit have realised that it will probably avly not comeMany thanks for your help! Best,Patrik 

This is my first SONOS product. While I can connect SONOS One SL thru SONOS app, it is not visible in Ariplay and Spotify Devices list most of the times. Only occasionally SONOS ONE SL is visible. I have tried in iPhone 6s and iPad 8 gen. All iOS products are on latest version.I have tried power on/off, wifi switch off/on but did not solve.I called SONOS customer support and they asked for diagnostics data which I sent thru SONOS app but yet to hear back from them.Did any of you face same issue?

I just bought the Sonos Beam, still dont have the TV so I was planning to use it only as AirPlay speaker for now.From the first sound check it seemed like the sound is really lacking for some reason, and after some more testing I figured it out - the center of the Beam is just mute, all that is playing are the back facing side speakers and woofers.Is it just because of the AirPlay, because I am technically sending "just" stereo, therefore the third (center) channel is off completely? Or is it defect? Can you please try AirPlay any music to the Beam from iPhone and let me know if the center speaker is playing or not? Thanks!

I have the following configuration: TV: LG CX with eARC, bitstream, passthrough all enabled.SPEAKERS: Sonos Arc w/ sub and 2 SLs (5.1 system w/ Dolby Atmos)APPLE TV 4k (2021): Audio Settings are Auto/ Dolby Atmos On* all HDMI cords are new 8k ultra high speed 48 Gbps When watching cable or the LG TV's native apps I'm getting Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 or Dolby Atmos. Now when I watch any app on the Apple TV (Netflix, HBO Max) and it's a show in Dolby Atmos it works great, I get Dolby Atmos. When I then switch to a show or movie that's not Atmos compatible i get no sound at all. The only way I get sound is going into the Apple TV settings and changing the audio settings to "change sound/ Dolby Digital 5.1". The shows will be in DD5.1 now but the Atmos wont work. What's going on here? It's a pain to change it all the time. Does anyone have a fix? 

Dear Community I own a 5.1 Sonos System including the new Sonos Arc. I got my Arc some months ago, and firstly it worked absolutely flawless. But lately I'm having some troubles with my System. My Sonos App keeps telling me that it’s unable to connect to my setup. Now if I disconnect the Sub and the two Surrounds and set up a new System with just the Arc and the Sub it works completely fine. But if i add the two surrounds to the setup again it works for some hours but then the same problem pops up again. I tried restarting every Products, restarted the router and set the arc back to factory settings, but nothing helps.Maybe someone has had the same issue, everything helps :D

If I experience a power cut my sub and surrounds do not reconnect to WiFi,  I have to plug into router and re do the set up process. This has now happened twice and is a complete pain, all my other Sonos products reconnect fine.

I am planning to return my Sonos Beam as it does not meet my needs.  I look forward to finding the right Sonos product in the future.I cannot factory reset my beam.  If I follow instructions by unplugging the Beam power and then holding in the infinity button, the white light pulses slowly about 12 times, quickly flashes white and then starts flashing white again until it is solid white.  I never see an orange/white flash.  I’ve done this about 15 times with no success.  I’ve tried unplugging it for up to 1 or 10 minutes, pressing infinity and then plugging it in all while still holding in the button - all ways are not successful.  I am following instructions perfectly.

I’m a newbie here but not new to Sonos. We’ve had a Playbar (with copper connection) in our game room for 5-6 years. We use it for TV audio and to play our music library on. Everything worked great until we added an ARC (also on copper) to the living room TV. Both soundbars work fine for TV audio, but now when I select Playbar and then start playing the music library it actually plays on the ARC downstairs and I don’t know how to fix that. How can I direct the streaming music library to the sound bar that is actually selected? Thanks in advance!

Hello ,  I have Sonos beam + 2 sonos One , I actually connected each other in one room .I am put music from my phone everything work good. But When I connect it to te samsung tv The sound come out just from the beam and not the 2 Sonos oneCan you help me how to fix this ?Thank You   

Hi EveryoneI have come from a 7.1 Denon Surround sound system onto the Sonos set-up.Previous set-up was over kill for me and the amount of cables drove the wife insane.So I now have a BEAM, which I love, and recently purchased x2 Sonos Ones for the surrounds. I have a couple of small issues that maybe the community can help me with. First off, I can turn the TV off with ALEXA , but when I turn it back on it defaults to DVB and not the HDMI, even if DVB is disabled in Hotel mode on the TV. I have to use the TV remote to switch to HDMITV model : Panasonic TC-55CX800Anyone have any ideas on this?Second issue, If I ask Alexa to play my music, it mutes or stops the TV audio. (Which is good)but then if I ask Alexa to “play TV sound” nothing happens. I have to use the TV remote to raise the volume again. Basically I can’t get the beam to switch back to TV audio. Anyone have any ideas on this? (I have a feeling its linked to the first issue)Third and final issue…70% of the time I watch TV thro

Just fitted a arc and 4 in ceiling Speakers as the surround, fitted both right to right and left to left, surround speakers are now set at +15 and are really quiet, watching fast and furious Hobbs and shaw on Netflix really poor? What have I done wrong?

I’ve had an Arc for a few months now and have had no issues until today. When I turned on the TV my ARC started alternating between white and orange status lights. I tried restarting it and it continued.If I unplug the HDMI cable and restart the ARC it goes away until I plug the HDMI back in. I don’t have another eARC device to test with.The ARC is working fine otherwise.I’ve read that alternating white/orange lights means it’s updating, but this isn’t the case as the ARC is fully updated (13.1.1), and it only starts when I plug the HDMI cable in.What does this mean?

. I was watching my TV, and suddenly an intense, extremely loud, piecing sound started being played from my Arc/surrounds. It was so loud that my ears are still ringing 15 min later. The only way I can describe it, is that it sounded like a commercial alarm system siren. I turned off my TV - nothing, unplugged the Arc Ethernet - nothing. Tried to lower the volume - no good. Finally had to pull the main power cord off the Arc to stop it.  I plugged everything back in and it is working fine so far.  This is very concerning. Not just the potential hearing damage, but damage to the speakers from blaring this noise so loudly.  Anyone else experience this?

It happens several times a day. The sub and symfonisk cuts out and from all controllers, the +? appears. Occasionally, it reconnects. I have no issue with any other speakers. Diagnostic report #508733282

I recently bought a Sonos Beam and it was working fine for a few months. But now it won’t show up on the Sonos app. The white light is on indicating it is connected to my WiFi but the speaker is nowhere to be found. My play 3 and play 1 are working fine. I have tried factory resetting my beam multiple times. And have even rest my entire Sonos system/controller (basically starting as if I bought all three Sonos Speakers for the first time and set them up) but still my beam is not connecting. Please help!

Will a sub gen 2 work with gen 1 play 1,3 & 5 as this is my current set up?Many thanks

Hi there, My diagnostic code is 1505463390 basically in a nut shell. The sub won’t connect to the playbar. When it does it sounds muffled like it’s underwater. The playbar now won’t connect to the play 3’s (that are paired together).  tried everything,  no joy at all. Please can someone help? cheers 

Sorround setup stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I reconnected both arc and 2xPlay1 at that time. Since then, when I try to connect - it gives an error message by the end of the sorround sound synchronisation. One of the two speakers does pair and play the sorround sound, the other one does not.  During the setup phase the speaker which is not connected by the end, does react properly when the setup asks me to locate the speaker and if I want to connect them. What can I try to do? I have this diagnostics number 2000725303

I have a system with an ARC, 2 One SL’s and a SUB. It all started when I heard my sub popping every few minutes. I noticed it wasn’t connected to the room anymore. After a factory reset I finally was able to reconnect it. A few weeks later, the left surround speaker looked like it was rebooting all the time. Giving me a white led for a few minutes, then flashing white for a while, then off. I also had to factory reset it to reconnect it. Now another few weeks later, the same happened to my right surround speaker. Kept looping with factory reset, removing the surround speakers, trying to add the surround speakers again, then tried removing the sub. Eventually I wasn’t able to rejoin the surrounds with the ARC, but for some magical reason they seem to work again. But now I’m not able to add my SUB anymore and after trying to add it again, it started popping again every 2 or 3 minutes. I don’t understand what could be causing this but it really annoying. Finally figured how to fix problem with Sonos Arc and Samsung TV compatibility issue.Use only Samsung remote - do not use other remotes otherwise you will have to start all over. Go to Samsung “GENERAL” and make sure Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) is activated (solid green dot) Factory reset Sonos Arc. Unplug all power and HDMI cables. Plug Sonos Arc into HDMI Arc/eArc.  Plug in all remaining HDMI cables. Plug in Samsung TV power cable and turn on. Wait …. audio should automatically say "Receiver HDMI" Then one by one plug power and turn on HDMI connected boxes.  Wait for Samsung TV to recognize each box so it's remote can control them. Hide all the other remotes so you don't have to do this all over again. 

I recently purchased an HDMI Switch with audio extraction to try to fix the audio delay issue between the Sonos Beam and the LG OLED C7 TV. The switch I purchased was the JTECH-SWE31 which supports ARC.When I hooked everything up today, the audio and visual worked fine. However, I can’t control the Sonos Beam’s volume with the LG remote anymore. I have ARC enabled on the switch and the TV (LG Simplink) as well. The new HDMI cable I purchased supports up to 18 Gbps. My setup currently looks like this:Switch HDMI In 1: Xbox One XSwitch output: TV HDMI In 2 (ARC)Switch optical out: Sonos Beam via optical to HDMI adapter Two things I noticed:In the Sonos app when I click “TV Setup”, it says “HDMI ARC not detected. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the ARC port and your TV is on”. if I turn ARC off on the HDMI Switch, the TV output switches back to the TV speakers.Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this issue? Really appreciate any responses here.
