I have a Beam, Sun and 2 One SL. In a HT set up. The sound plays in the Beam but the sun and Surrounds don’t play any sound.  I reset both surrounds and the sub using the method provided on Sonos support page. The units reset and I can go through the process to reconnect them and it shows in the app where they are connected to my system but will not play any audio. Then after a few moments the go in a not connected state and I go through the steps listed in the app to reconnect the. (Turn off products, reset router,…etc) but still no luck. 

TV I'm looking, Sony XR-77A80L, at has HDMI IN eARC/ARC on the back.  Does that mean input only?  Will that work?

Can you add sonos 100's to a home theater with and arc, sub and rear 300's? The 100's would be raised in front, where the arc is at the base of the tv. Also, can you add more speakers to a the home theater? And how would you do it? 

So having had trouble for the last 4 days trying to get a new Sonos Arc to work consistently with my TV… blaming the TV, the new Sky box, having tried 4 different cables, it seems the culprit (or at least a big contributor) is a very loose HDMI port on the Arc.  This results in the cable partly coming out of the Arc each time it’s placed back on the wall.I ended up having to put a cable tie holder on the back of the Arc itself to hold the HDMI cable motionless as it’s mounted.  This has things working - at least temporarily - but I’m concerned that 1. it may not hold indefinitely and 2. I shouldn’t have to resort to a cheap cable holder for a soundbar that cost over £1k!Coming to the forum, I immediately found another thread with multiple customers confirming the same.  That dates back to 2020, and it seems nothing has been done to fix this obvious product fault.  That thread is annoyingly locked, so it’s not possible to follow up there.Sonos Arc Loose HDMI ConnectionAre others still f

Hi, Thanks in advance for your help. I’m just trying to understand something. When it comes to the distance setting for my surrounds (a pair of Fives bound to my Arc) is the distance meaning how far behind me as referenced from where I sit, or does it mean how far from the Back pair of Fives? I have two sets of Fives, two right beside the Arc that face me so Back I believe we refer to them, and the pair of Fives as surrounds which are a few feet behind my listening position.I’m not sure that it matters all that much, but I am curious what the reference point for the distance actually is. Previous speaker before the Arc was a Bose Sounddock 10. The highs were brilliant, and needless to say, big on bass.I believe I installed the Arc correctly. The TV is a Hisense A4 65”The apartment room is L shaped, and large. TV is on a table top against a wall. The Arc was originally places directly in from of the TV. The lower edge of the TV is about 4” higher than the table.I’ve tried the EQ settings to boost the highs. It did help somewhat.Now I have the Arc on the floor in front of the table, it sits about 24” from the wall. I think it’s an improvement.Am considering purchasing 2 Era 300 speakers.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi everyone i will just say that when my sonos system works its really awesome with dolby atmos etcand i want to upgrade my surrounds to era 300. but now to my problem today i have a tv samsung yearmodel 2020 full name is QE55Q77TATmy sonos system issonos arcsonos sub Gen 3and 2 surround is Ikea synfonisk surroundmy problem is when i watch movies that every 1 hour and 38 min i got a sounddrop for about 1 second.this is really anoying and i wounder if anyone else have this problem?im in contact with sonos support here in Sweden thru mail, but im trying everything when ill wait for then to answer on mail. i have connected all my speakers to a Lan cable and sonos net are going thru Channel 11 and my router channel 1 om Wi-Fi 2.4ghz i really love the sound from my sonos system its f****** amazing, is just this problem for me thats annoying me.i hope you understand my english, be nice om just a swedish guy  have a nice day Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Co

I have recently purchased a Sonos package.- 4 in-ceiling speakers- Amp- Sub Gen 3- Connected my current Playbar. Today I connected everything up and it took me a while to set this up on the S2 App. Wasn't actually straight forward for me for some reason. Not sure if anyone else struggled too.But, I was hoping to get Atmos sound from my set up, but I'm not.Can someone advice me what I may be doing wrong please? Find attached photos of the set up on my S2 app. Any tips would be much appreciated. Regards,Nils.

Hello, I have a problem with my new sonos Beam gen2. We have a TV Samsung UE46ES6540. This TV has just 1 exit HDMI Arc.I have bought an HD Fury Arcana and I don’t understand. I don't have Atmos sound when I watch TNT TV. I have just PCM stereo or Dolby digital. Can you help me if I must do an particular operation.Tanks for your help

Hi all,I own a Beam Gen 1 soundbar. I am planning to setup home theatre around it. I am confused about which speakers to use and whether they are compatible with gen 1 beam. I will setup in my living room of 24*20 feet. Should I go with Sub mini+ 2 Era 100 or Sub + 2 Era 300 or Sub +2 Era 100? Are all of them compatible with Beam gen 1?Thanks 

I recently set up a Sonos system comprising a Beam, One SL, and Sub Mini, all connected via WiFi. However, I’ve encountered a persistent issue since installing the IKEA Dirigera smart hub at home. Whenever the Dirigera is active, the Sonos One SL and Sub Mini disconnect from the network, and I’m unable to reconnect them until I power off the Dirigera. I’ve verified this multiple times, and each instance of disconnection is resolved by turning off the smart hub. Seeking assistance to address this connectivity problem and understand if there’s a compatible solution between the Sonos system and the IKEA Dirigera. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

GreetingJust investigating SONOS for a new house build so I apologize if this is too simple.I would like to attach a Samsung (The Frame, 2023 version) TV to Sonos AMP Gen 2. I have three different listening scenariosTV on - tv sound going to speakers TV off- sound from Sonos streaming to speakers Tv on- sound from Sonos streaming to speakers (use the TV to view pictures) The first two seem pretty straightforward but for the third one, can I select what source is amplified (tv or streaming) via the APP or ?? The good news: Arc+Sub shows up in my Sonos app and I’m able to play music through it.The bad news: I’m not getting sound out of Arc/Sub or out of my TV.It was working before but something happened and the TV setting got out of whack. I’ve noticed ever since upgrading to TV OS 17 on Apple TV 4K (2021), I only get stereo PCM from any 5.1 audio source. Dolby Atmos output works fine. Other sources (e.g. PS5) play LPCM 5.1 fine - any ideas? I’ve been able to get it briefly but it then reverts back to stereo.It could very much be Sonos not supporting TV OS 17 (as with iOS17)

Hi there, quite new with Sonos.I use a Beam + 2xOne for my TV (LG C2) as well as for google assistant.When I play video games I need to put the volume at approx.15-20% and when I use Netflix it’s more like 30%.The difference is very noticeable when I use the google assistant, as for depending on which setting it was last (game or netflix) it either feels too loud or not audible. My question : is there a way to automatically trigger different volumes by default?Like, when I start Netflix on the TV, 30%. When I turn off the TV, 20%. When I start the video games, 15%. When I start something after 10pm, 8% etc...

Playbar sound keeps cracking and drops out for split second when watching tv. Connected to Samsung 65" tv via optic cable, also have two play 1's as surround speakers. Every so often the sound stops for split second and seems to stutter and crackle very slightly.  I've just run a diagnostic number 1783555761 Thanks. 

I have a mostly Gen 2 SONOS system consisting of a Playbar connected via optic to a Samsung Smart TV running over a T-Mobile Home Internet network hub located in a different part of my home. My SONOS system is configured for Home Theater using a Connect:Amp, located in an A//V closet, to connect two ceiling speakers for surround sound. Currently all SONOS devices are connected wireless to the T-Mobile router. The system info in the SONOS app shows the Playbar with (+Sub+LS+RS) but I don’t seem to be getting any of the surround sound from my ceiling speakers. The SONOS setup guide indicates that the Connect:Amp needs to be connected via ethernet cable to the sound bar, in my case the Playbar. And that device should be connected via ethernet to the router. The location of my T-Mobile router does not lend itself to connect directly to the Playbar.My question is: If I connect the Connect:Amp to my Playbar with an ethernet cable should that solve my ceiling speaker issue even though the Pla

I have an arc and a sub 3 to go with my hanging 77” LG G3. The arc sits 30” off the ground and ceilings are 9 feet. The distance for the farthest couch is about 9 ½ feet. Two quick questions, anyone have a recommendation for height adjustment + for a situation like that. Right now I have it at +2. Also, planning on getting Sonance rear speakers (unfortunately the wife won’t let me get 300s because she doesn’t want the stands). Are the 6” good enough or should I go 8”with an Amp. Significantly more but if it’s worth it then will do it. Hey Sonos are you listening? I think a lot of would die for 300 type Atmos ceiling speakers.

Buenos días, tengo una barra  Sonos Arc, un sub y 2  Sonos One, y queria saber si le puedo añadir 2 Sonos Era 300 o  bien para poner detrás del sofá tipo sonido envolvente o al os lados de la barra de sonido Arc a esta composición de cine en casa?Lo que me gustaría saber es si se puede añadir, no sustituir, o si se puede añadir 1 solo Era 300, ya que quiero tener el mejor sonido posible, aunque el que tengo ya se escucha muy muy bien, un saludo y gracias

Hope everyone having a Good Day HelloJust wanted to share some first impression of my new soundbar..the Ray.I was lucky to get a good deal on a brand new Ray&Sub Mini($620) For the one that have not read my topics&posts i had to leave my home and “move” to my 90yo granny…she do not hear so well. I’ve tried to make her hear the TV with a Playbase&Sub Mini and it works…sort of. The volume is above 50% for her to hear something,well you get the idea.I have my own bedroom in the secound floor and grannys bedroom is across the hall. So i have orderd a 43” LG-smart-TV(not here yet) Plan to watch “my own choosen” programs and of course i need some upgrades in soundperformance,and i choose the Ray. I’m very fond of the Ikea Symfonisk Book Shielf-speakers(Ikea BS Red.anm) so they will be my surrounds. The room is not big,and as i write this the Ray is playing in background i think i don’t need the Sub Mini. The room is perhaps 2.5x4meters and only half the room is full roof-height a

I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2, Sonos Sub Gen 3 and 2 Sonos ceiling speakers connected to a Sonos Amp. When I play Dolby Atmos audio sourced from any app on a Samsung TV., I get constant audio dropouts on ceiling speakers. It’s so annoying that I typically end up disconnecting ceiling speakers and everything else is fine. Also whole system works perfectly when I play Atmos music directly from the Sonos app. Anyone got any thoughts on what issue might be and how to resolve. 

I have a Beam soundbar, a Sonos mini woofer and two Sonos One surround speakers. As a present I’ve been given a Bluetooth turntable with amp . How do I connect it with my Sonos system as there are no Jack points in the beam?Is it possible to connect via Bluetooth?

Hello World and Sonos Teams, Just moved from one home to another, same set up as below. Everything worked at the old house, but not new house. I have Sonos Beam and 4 Ones (with Alexa)Beam and 2 Sonos Ones are set up as Surround (LS + RS)I have Google Router/Mesh - 4 pods. Main pod router is connected in basement. Wifi in the house is great. 2nd pod is in living room and ethernet connected to Samsung TV. Beam is then connected to TV via HDMI in the arc allowed port. TV plays fine through beam and surround. Nothing cuts out. I then play Spotify via the Beam and Ones and it cuts out and sometimes skips to a different song. Why is this happening? Only when I play music not TV. Thanks! J
