Verbally asking Google on my sonos arc to play music results in this response: "Sorry, it looks like you haven't set up Spotify Premium on your Sonos app. To play from Spotify Premium, link the same account on both Sonos and Google Assistant."I've tried looking at other posts but I haven't seen any working solutions. I've done exactly as Google said as well as reinstalling apps and reconnecting Spotify to Google assistant and to Sonos. But I still get the same message every time.
Hi, I’ve recently bought a Sonos One, and I have been using the Google Assistant to set my alarm for the morning as part of a routine command. It sets the alarm, but it is waaay to quiet for the alarm to actually work and wake me up. Is there a way to set the alarm volume (from the google home) independtly, or at least make it louder?
In the iOS Google Home app, I added the voice assistant as a favorite. When use voice commands to play music on the Play 5(gen 2) or the Playbar(gen 1) the assistant just shows a google search. Both the Playbar and Play 5 devices show up in the Google Home app after linking my Sonos account. I added Apple Music as the default music service to both Google Home and Sonos as well. When I use Youtube Music as the default music provider it works.
From 1 month ago, when i ask to my sonos (google assistant):“Can you put the radio franceinfo” , it take the swindon 105.5 US radio on tunein, not the french national radio.I have added france info to my favourites, but without succes. Can you fix it pls ?Thanks

I have a big problem. I’m sick and tired of assistant confirms everything I ask her to. I can’t figure out how to remove “talk back” it’s been an option in the past, but now I can’t find it. Is it really not possible anymore?

I click Authorize and I receive a new pop-up with Congratualtions. When I returned in Sonos 2 app, an error connexion message appear. No connexion can be establish with Toutube Music. Can you help me ?
My new Sonos Roam won't connect to Google Assistant. I tried using the Sonos Voice Control instead but that is not compatible with either Spotify nor BBC Sounds and is therefore pointless. I have looked at every single existing support thread on this Community Forum and followed the advice of them all, and nothing works. I have only one Google account, and my Roam and phone are both connected to the same WiFi network. I have no other voice control currently installed on the Roam. I have tried unlinking my Sonos account on Google Assistant/Home, I've tried restarting all devices and the router, and deleting and reinstalling apps. Nothing works. I select to add Google Assistant voice control on the app, and select my Roam as the device (I own no other 'smart' speakers etc), and click to add Google Assistant again, and then I just get the error message below every time saying "There was a problem adding Google Assistant". I got try again and nothing happens. I've submitted diagnostics twi
When are we getting Google Assistant on the Era 100. I have 15 Sonos devices throughout my home and a whole smart home network with Google Assistant. I was so excited when I got two new Era 100s for Christmas to replace some older Sonos Ones but fun fact they no longer work with Google Assistant. In what universe do new products have less features? I am so disappointed because I now have to have an extra Sonos One to control the rest of my smart home (AC, lights, etc.) and play YouTube Music which you can’t get via Alexa. Feels like a miss. -_-
I’m trying to get my Google assistant to play well with my Sonos. I have a Nest Mini and a Symfonisk bookcase speaker in my home office. I’ve linked Sonos to my google assistant. I’ve placed the symfonisk in the same room as my nest mini, and I’ve set the symfonisk to be the default device for playback of music. The problem I have is that I will regularily be told that “Sorry, that mode isn’t available” for quite a few commands. For instance “Play music by Birdy” or “Play music by Birdy on Spotify” always fails with this message. Other commands such as “Play music by Linkin Park” allows my nest to start the music on my symfonisk, however, sometimes it will tell me something went wrong, despite the fact that nothing went wrong, and music is indeed playing. Other commands such as volume up and down almost always seem to work. Personally, I’m hoping sonos starts selling a small usb-powered microphone that people can place in rooms with Sonos devices that don’t have a microphone. Then I co
Over the past few weeks, I noticed my Sonos speaker with Google Assistant is not registering commands to control music. I can ask Google to play music and ask what music is playing, but when I ask it to stop music, it says no music is playing. I deregistered Sonos from the Google app and unlinked Spotify and then set everything up again, but this didn’t work. I think there’s a bug with either Google Assistant or Spotify, but I think it’s Spotify. Also having the same issue with the Amazon Alexa voice. Only thing that’s working is the Sonos voice. Anyone else experiencing this?
Sonos, when are you/BBC/Google going to fix this ridiculous issue? I can see posts about this from over 12 months ago!Surely between the 3 of these huge businesses you can fix this minor issue? Or do you just take our money and then ignore us when we have any issues?
Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hi, I have (1xSub / 2x One S2 / Arc gen2. Previously we used a Playbar, which has now be
This is a reoccurring problem recently after a few years of no (few...) issues with the set-up. I have a SONOS one in the Kitchen and a SONOS playbase with Play 1 surrounds in the living room connected to the TV. I use Google Assistant (which is pretty crap at the best of times). If I say something simple like “Ok google, play” the light flashes and nothing happens, if I then manually press the play button on the speaker or the app it works. If I then say “ok google, stop” it then says “something went wrong in the living room”, if I try to turn the music up it just does it on the TV in the other room. I’ve reset the system, I’ve partially reset the system, I’ve rebooted the router and nothing works, the best that’s happened is that it temporarily goes back to normal before reverting again after a few days (and with no option changing). I’ve looked for previous subjects without success. Cheers
I have two Sonos One and a Sonos Beam. Before when all three units were separate, I could turn on the microphone function on any one of them, but ever since I attempted to setup surround sound, I’ve lost microphone function on all three units. I’ve since disconnected them, but still can’t get the microphone to work. I’ve searched the community and only found solutions to Alexa. Please help. Thanks!
Hey everyoneI Know there was a way to set google assistant on not supported countries by changing in the sonos account a supported country such as the UK or US and adding zip code but it seems that no longer works.I see in the app the option for the assistant but during setup it can’t find the sonos speaker, was something changed?
On google branded and other google speakers, there is a volume control for googles response, separate from the volume of the device. Is that possible with Sonos 1, or is it just controlled by overall volume?
When I ask Google Assistant to play a song on my Sonos One, she will start the song while telling me “OK, playing song x on Youtube Music” causing me to miss the first few seconds of the song. Is there any way to fix this? Either wait to start the song until the talking is done, or just not talking. In the grand scheme of things, I can live with this, but it is annoying.
We've just bought a Sonos Roam for the new bathroom to listen to music, radio etc while showering. Bonus the hey Google broadcast to shout out for assistance. However while listening yesterday I requested it to skip the song it was on. The reply was that this feature is not available for Sonos? I was listening to my Spotify playlist, the paid for service rather than the free in case that makes a difference. Is there a certain way I need to ask? I asked it to skip that song, play next song, they didn't work. Thanks x
I’ve done quite a lot of research on this to try and find a workaround, but I keep hitting roadblocks. Can anyone help please?I have a Playbar and Play:3 - both are working great and successfully connected to my Google HomeA while back, I used to be able to ask Google to “play radio 1” on Sonos and it would work. Since BBC moved away from TuneIn to BBC Sounds, this no longer works.I have connected BBC Sounds to Sonos (I can successfully play Radio 1 by using the Sonos app), but when I ask Google to “play radio 1” I get nothing or a random station on my Sonos.I used IFTTT to create an applet using the BBC Sounds streaming link as the source but Sonos won’t recognise the link and throws an error “unable to play...” Is there is a Sonos friendly URL for Radio 1?My want is to be able to ask Google to “play radio 1 everywhere” and BBC Radio 1 plays on all my Sonos devices but from what I’ve seen\read it seems like this is impossible. Am I wrong? Thanks in advanceSteve
In Google Home I currently play different music each day via amp as part of my morning Google home routine. Daily routines have a custom command "play chillout music on bar", which plays on Monday for exanple It works but messy to maintain multiple routines. I'm currently attmpting to shift my music routines to Google script. I can play music to a nest speaker via script but when attempting to play on amp there are limited functions available, stop/start etc. There doesn't appear to be away to tell sonos which music to play like you can with a nest speaker. Has anyone successful been able to tell sonos which music to play via script? https://apple.news/AkmFsEUJJSsy4r4fqTNrDAA Looks like Google Assistant now natively supports Apple Music. I just tried it, but it says it is not supported on the Move. Any time frame for it to be added?

i have an issue with some commands google assistant used on a sonos one, the problem started a one of weeks ago, I cannot anymore use simple commands as “stop playing, turn up the volume etc. Other commands like to start playing works fine, also shift to the next track and more. When I try to use some of the not working commands google responds following, “unable to precess commands for code” Please advice, ThanksC
GA shuffles Spotify playlists just fine when playing on its own speaker. Send it to Sonos and it plays in sequential order with shuffle mode off every time. So Sonos, what are we supposed to do to make this extremely common use case work?
