I have recently moved back to the UK from Spain. I have tried to change the address on my Profile but the country box is greyed out. So I can enter the street address but not the country. This means I am denied access to UK content such as BBC Sounds. How can I change the country?
'Common sense would be to heed the adverse feedback on the new app and revert to the old version, which had few issues being raised. Or at least give the user the choice.I know that 'Sonos knows best' is value often perceived by customers but carrying on regardless over this issue could be huge distraction and add to what must be a worrying time for the company.Show some courage Sonos... Withdraw the new App'
New version does not work Lost of units lost of radio stations favorisUnusable No way to go back to previousversionsNo email contact no chat availbleSonos is losing more and more my consideration at each release.
When I open the Sonos app dozens and dozens of times every day, and today, every time I opened the SONOS app, I wanted to throw my SONOS products out into the street. All I wanted was my music, my playlists, and an intuitive app to control them. Seems like a good thing for your brand. /sarc
Well, this is awkward.https://www.marketbeat.com/instant-alerts/nasdaq-sono-insider-buying-and-selling-2024-05-08/Director Joanna Coles sold 905 shares of the business's stock in a transaction on Monday, May 6th.
I seem to have lost access to my NAS music library on the new app. This is crap. Anyone know if I can go back to the old app? Very very unhappy.
Hi allAfter the disaster with the new app, I expect a clear statement and feedback by the CEO on the Sonos website. That is the least I expect.
The new Sonos app is horrible. It took forever to reauthorize the Apple app. No matter how many times I reset the speakers they revert back to the room they were set on when I upgraded. Volume changes without being prompted. I cannot edit the queue. The user interface has drastically changed. I work in IT and we would never release software this buggy.
Title says it, convince me. Oh, Ken, stop pandering and join the annoyance?
I bought my first Sonos product 10 years ago and always recommended it to family and friends. I have owned a Play:3, Sonos AMP and my current setup consists of a Beam + Sub with multiple Symfonisk speakers. I have planned to extend it with a Move or Roam for the garden and my caravan, but after the last update, I lost the trust in Sonos completely. I was fine with Sonos decision to enforce user registration to use their speakers. I was fine with Sonos cutting of old products and splitting into S1 and S2 app (after massive shitstorm). But after loosing basic functions, I recognized I spent thousands of euros on products I am not owning. My next speakers won't be smart.
Has anybody heard of the app upgrade is being backed out due to all the issues or if Fixes are being put in place? A lot of issues with the new app upgrade.
Sonos…quit the pop up “Sonos app update available” when we open the old app. Very frustrating to have to keep closing it. We all know the problems with it and we don’t want this new app version till you get things worked out.
Why break something that isn’t broken? So far the new app is less user friendly and can NOT do what S2 did! Where are my Sonos Playlists?
I am very disappointed by the new App. For years I have created playlists on my PC and loaded digital albums. Now I can’t access them, or if I find one I can only select and play one track at a time and not the whole playlist or album. I refuse to be forced down the streaming from a paid for platform route! We really need the option to rollback this update, it is ill conceived, created without the end user in mind and does a complete disservice to the Sonos brand. Please do not update the desktop app to replicate this terrible changes. At least for now I can walk across the room to select and play my music from my PC, even if I can’t do it from my IOS device anymore!

The new app is a complete slap in the face of the user and it renders the expensive Sonos equipment virtually useless. The previous app may not have been always user friendly but we have learnt to wiork with it to satisfaction. The new app is horrible and i would never recommend the system to anybody before the old app is reinstated or somethong workable is produced.
I have a Wifi-connected Sonos Port that works fine with my Android phone app, but we can’t connect my wife’s iPhone, which can’t find the Port on our LAN.
The new SONOS app is horrible. I cannot believe it has been released without the Alarm function!! I can live with all the other removals but for DAILY ALARMS people use to wake up to go to work SONOS did not believe were basic or important enough to include in their new, “better” app. This is treating loyal, some might say long-suffering, users spending significant amounts of money on their high priced equipment with disdain. I am SO upset with SONOS for doing this.Their recommendation to just go use another computer (Windows or Mac) to do this assumes everyone has a computer to do that on. Most people don’t, and those that do it may be a work computer locked down and unable to sort this. What if I had an alarm set for 5am and now every day I have to wake up at 5am because SONOS hate their customers? This is RUBBISH!!! As for the rest of it, like removing sleep timers, Android widgets, volume controls, etc. again, it treats SONOS CUSTOMERS like rubbish.SONOS - give us the ability t
In the new Sonos I can’t find my playlists any more nor can I add songs to them. Only Sonos favourites. Am I doing something wrong or is it the new app? If the latter, why is Sonos doing this?
I just updated the Sonos app and now I see none of my saved Sonos playlists. Where did they go?
Nothing working anymoreSlow to no reactionViews/lists disappearingApp constantly crashingAs if there was no competition on the market
All you get is a slider. This is pathetic.
Moin, gibt es die Community auch in deutscher Sprache?Ich spreche leider kein Englisch.Danke
Does anyone else think the Sonos app is terrible?seriously was there any UX design done at all!!?? Was user feedback incorporated into the app. I find the whole app to be so unintuitive. For example, I can see my recently played from Apple Music on the main screen but when I select Apple Music under your services it’s not there. it just seems a very scatter gun approach to app design. Unfortunately I’m stuck with this as the sound quality is better using the app than Airplay which I believe is due to the data loss over airplay.
Obviously lots of comments here, reddit, elsewhere. Probably would be good for people thinking about buying this hardware (e.g. reading amazon reviews) know how bad their experience could be. Maybe if no one bought speakers while they work to re-add basic functions it would help encourage some thinking about how to solve these problems quickly….
