Unusually for Sonos there’s a release schedule here
So after speaking to a Sonos tech, who informed me that there are known issues with the brand/model router I use, I decided to buy an new router ($180), installing new router and finding that the same problems of app not finding system with the router showing both speakers on my network; now stuck in the “update app” loop… Oh, Sonos!
I discovered a work around: on iPhone, I can connect Apple Music or Sirius directly to speakers. And since I have all of my personal music in the Cloud, I can listen to MY music without using the Sonos App that doesn’t work.
So Sonos, take your time unraveling the giant mess you have created and all the ill-will you have bestowed upon your brand, because your crap is expensive. In the future I will be buying speakers from a different company that HAS customer service. Waiting for a call back usually takes over an hour and then you get lousy information. Oh, and your chatbot, is worthless, repeating useless information.
