Hi I have 800TB of AIFF hi-res song files on a 1.5gb microSD for my JM21 DAP portable player. I have a Sonos Amp in wiring closet driving my outdoor speakers, and a Sonos PORT being driven by my turntable. Both port/amp connected via Ethernet to home network Would love to serve up the AIFF files via AMP or Port in highest quality possible, and take advantage of AMP or Port's DAC. What would be best setup for this, the 800tb of files can live anywhere I'm not tied to MicroSD Also open to Raspberry PI setup for NAS if needed Lastly would love to control library via Sonos app, sounds like I can via SMB share, just isn't clear to me if this would run through DAC on AMP or PORT before going to rest of Sonos speakers .. also assume NAS connects directly into back of Port or AMP in 2nd Ethernet port?
Deeply unimpressed with my purchase of a Symphonisk speaker pair, they will not pair and operate properly no matter how many times (and different ways) that I try.One side will work but not the other and vice versa; sometimes one side will work momentarily with the other but only 1% of the time.I have an Apple Home setup which I can get working nicely, but these speakers are the black sheep and I’m regretting the purchase. Firmwares are up to date and I’ve tried everything else suggested online.I notice many complaints online; are these things just junk and should I be avoiding Sonos products like the plague? (in my mind the answer to this is a hard yes right now).
I have an older generation Connect running on the S1 app and my newer Port, Ray, Roam and One SL speakers running on the S2 app. Everything has been working fine until this week. Now, whenever I try to open the S1 app to control the Connect, a screen pops up telling me to switch to the S2 app. I cannot cancel this screen to switch to the S1 app so therefore cannot play through the Connect. I haven't changed any settings, it seems to have happened randomly. The Connect cannot be added to the S2 system. How do I fix this so I can use the S1 app to control the Connect?
Sonos One connects with Sonos Play 1. Through Sonos app Android. Make sure. The speakers are set for separate rooms, and then group them through Sonos app settings . Add voice assistant for sonos. Just something I wanted to share for anyone .
Noticing the amount of bandwidth my sonos beam is using. The unit is off and I have no live stream music is setup. download 1.3gbps upload 323. mbps
It takes forever to respond to inputs and tonight I have no control over the volume. Every time I play music there is an issue with the app. It is one of the worst apps I’ve ever experienced.
When are you going to fix it....
I’m trying to configure the wifi access on a Sonos Play 1. I’ve following the instructions of resetting the Play 1 and then following the instructions on the app. Unfortunately when I select adding the speaker on the app nothing happens. Is there a way of rolling back the app to a version which was able to configure the wifi username and password on a Sonos Play 1
Hi, what do you recommend doing if the TV degrades or disrupts the Dolby Atmos signal due to poor eARC support? Is there an optimal solution to ensure the Sonos Arc receives the proper Atmos audio, such as using an HDMI splitter or another connection method, without needing to upgrade the TV?
If your CR200 controller won’t charge, or appears to only charge intermittently, try the following:With the controller resting in its cradle, select restart from the advanced settings menu. It will then restart and charge. Well it certainly works for ours.
How come only part of my YouTube songs are shown on Sonos?
Many have commented that after making changes to their network that their Sonos system is not working properly. Issues range from speakers not being recognized in the Sonos app and/or drop-outs. Some of the more common network maintenance/changes are:Replacing/upgrading a router Moving from a single router to a Mesh Network setup Changing Internet Service Provider (ISP) Moving to a new dwelling with network hardware you own *Those projects need not be an unpleasant experience as it relates to Sonos. Here are tips that can keep a Sonos smile 😊 on your face and avoid frustration. First…Unplug all Sonos components Do not factory reset any Sonos components Do not change the SSID and Password for your network **If changing your ISP and using their hardware insist that they assist you to change their proprietary SSID and Password to the one’s you were using before.Setup your network (completely) before doing anything with SonosIf moving from a single router to a Mesh network (main router a
Disappointed to find that Sonos Mag 6.1 has no Bluetooth connectivity. In the age of advanced audio electronics it is difficult to imagine a high end audio streaming device that doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity. I spent over 12 hours installing this system around my customers pool. Now we will be removing it and reinstalling a system with this most basic feature. Very disappointed in Sonos. There should be a large highly visible warning on this system stating that it is not Bluetooth compatible. Huge waste of time.
My Sonos Arc Utra disconects after 10 minutes from my Hisense 100U70N TV and switches back to the TV speakers. Does anyone have a solution for this? I have talked to tech support for both companies with no success.

I have 2 era 100 and a sub mini. While playing music on the phone all three work. TV only allows 2 devices. So sub is useless
HiI have a TV with one slot of HDMI connectori wanted to connect my Sonos Beam 2 to the TV and wanted to check which connector is ideally suited thanks
Both of my sono’s beams that I own have stopped appearing on my sonos 2 app. Looks like they were transferred to my legacy sonos 1 app that is disabled. How can get them back on my sonos 2 app “current app” to control?
Lots of posts on this but here is what I learned after many hours…The Sonos tech support site is wrong on how to fix this issue. Their first step tells you to go to Windows support and add a local user account. Then apply that account to file sharing. What they fail to say is that when you install Sonos, a local user account named “Sonos Wireless HiFi System” is created. So here is how I solved the issue: Go to your Music folder on your PC Right click and select properties Select Sharing tab Select the share button (NOT advanced sharing as Sonos tells you...) In the blank space next to the greyed out “Add” button, select the down arrow \/ You should then see “Sonos Wireless HiFi System” show up in the box below - click on that and select “add” Select the Share Button at the lower right to complete the process You will then see it take some time to share the folder and it may ask if you want to overwrite older settings (if you are updating Sonos with a new install as I did). Selec
Hello -Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the the issue where you start an album/stations/playlist from Apple Music and after a random amount of time (sometimes in the first 30 seconds, and other times 5-10 mins), the song stops playing on the speaker(s), but the app shows that the song continues to play (this will continue on forever if I am playing a station). Music doesn’t start again from the speaker(s) until I start a new album/station/playlist. I’m pretty sure this started with the new app update, but I can’t be totally sure as I do a fair amount of airplay music playing (which seems completely uneffected). Here are the steps I have done to try and fix/debug this issue:Tried Amazon and TuneIn and both worked fine. Restarted app Tested multiple speakers (grouped and ungrouped) Restarted router/modem Restarted Sonos system Removed and re-installed Sonos app Removed Apple Music and Reactivated Removed Apple Music as my preferred music service (I saw one posting on here where
I Have two Sonos play 5 gen 1 ,which have been very good up till now .They have recently updated and the sound now is so distorted that you can't listen to them Needs a serious update to solve this
I can't connect to new network
My amp only has a white light that keeps flashing when I try to reset it and I can't and it won't let me connect it to the network. I've already tried to reset it by connecting it to the network via cable and the white light keeps flashing slowly.
So I bought the Sub 4, installed and grouped it with my Sonos Arc Ultra, and I was really disappointed at the lack of thundering power. I have the volume adjusted up to +15 and the sound its adding is underwhelming. Does this sound right to others that have the Sub 4 or were my expectations just wrong?
I tested this setup with this youtube video (25 - 150 Hz Audio Sweep): When I toggle off the sub in the app, I can hear the bass ramp up from 40 Hz.When I use the sub then I can hear it from 25 Hz, but at 65-75 it gets quiet. Not using the sub in this range produces more bass than when using the sub.Is this a bug with the sub or what is the reason for this? Will it be fixed? Sub level 0, bass -1, treble -2 and no speech enhancement. Tested with and without trueplay. Also, I saw some comments online stating that when toggling off the sub in the app, it’s as if you are still using it, except it doesn’t produce sound. This does not seem to be true. Seems to me that in that case the arc ultra is using all its bass, since I could hear the bass from 40 Hz when toggling the sub off, and when having it on at -15 the bass had low volume until about 75 Hz, as opposed to when having it toggled off. I can’t find the post with this claim, but I am pretty sure I read it on here somewhere. Is my conc
