I have just setup a new router and much faster network. Unfortunately, this means resetting all of my Sonos speakers. So far that’s generally been ok, except the Play 1s (for surround audio) and sub connected to a Playbar. Resetting the Play:1s didn’t work until I added them via Ethernet, but subsequent resets they have been fine wirelessly. however - I seem to be in a cycle: set up the Play:1s, set them as surrounds, it all seems to work…and then immediately they appear to be missing in the app. I can play music or TV in the room, but it will also only play through the Playbar. When I look at the app, the speakers themselves appear to be missing. I have tried this several times now - and it seems to keep repeating. What am I doing wrong?
Are refurbished sonos products available in the UK
My sonos move was working fine connecting to bluetooth and playing music, but i wanted to connect it to wifi and use the sonos app with it, which it was refusing to do. So i reset the sonos move. (i suspect wifi connection wasn’t working because i live at a new house different from where I set it up). Anyhow, I did a reset of the move to see if this would help. Now it needs to be set up again. The application now is able to identify my sonos move, but says i need to update the sonos move in order to finish setting it up and use it. So I accept, and I wait for it to update. But the update is taking very long, so long that the move eventually stats flashing red. Am I supposed to keep waiting for it to finish after this red light happens or no? if it ever will finish updating, I am not sure. I can wait longer I suppose but it is taking a very long time. And the move shouldn’t be broken, the bluetooth was working perfectly fine before i reset the device.
Hi All, I have recently noticed that my Sonos arc home theatre system (era 300s and subs) keeps losing the system settings. EQ, sub levels, etc keep resetting to default after a couple of hours or the next day. i haven’t found any other threads on this so am curious as to whether it’s a common issue or just me! Any advice?
I have an ARC, Sub Gen3, and two SONOS 1s as surrounds. I just purchased two ERA 300s to replace the Sonos 1s. I am not able to release / disconnect the current surrounds and thus can't replace them and use 300s as surrounds. The S2 Application trys but fails with the message: There was a problem removing your surrounds. Check the network connection and make sure your products are powered on.The current configuration works and in the past I was able to reconfigure/remove/replace surrounds and Sub. None of that's working now. I tried unplugging everything including other speakers and the router and adding only the ARC, SUB and surrounds. I tried the app on multiple phones, a laptop and the web interface. No luck. I like the ERA300s and would like to connect them to the ARC but I'm stuck.

I have a Sonos Arc and Sub Gen 3. The Arc is connected to my Nexigo Aurora projector using HDMI eArc. The sound quality isn’t as good as when I play music from my phone via AirPlay. For example, a song sounds great on my phone even at half volume with strong bass. But when I play the same song through the projector, even at 80% volume, the sound quality is lower without life. Does anyone know how to fix this or suggest better alternatives?
Why do they make this seemingly impossible?! Every time I change broadband provider I have to reset every Sonos product I’ve got, losing everything!!!Is there any better way of doing this. I have a One, 2 x One SL and Beam. When I open up the Sonos app I get a screen that says welcome. Add a speaker or join existing system.
I don’t understand why the new App doesn’t include the WM:0 and WM:1 information?
Hi,I experience the following since the new app is availalbe (black background):App says it cannot load any content...on my iPhone 13 which is up to date The TV room is always lost when listening to the music, I have to add it again all overIt was not a problem with the former app (golden background). Is there any fix to that?Thank you
The new app has just been downloaded to my IPad. I notice that the equalizer has been removed or is hidden somewhere. I use the equalizer quite often, so this is not an improvement. Can anyone confirm that the equalizer is fone, or if not, maybe explain where I can find it.Thatks
For the past several months my Sonos app keeps asking me to set up a new system, as soon as I click the set up button it reverts back to my already set up system. It happens again if I am playing a song and my phone goes to sleep, as soon as I try to switch songs the app says error then asks me to set up a new system again. VERY ANNOYING. The app is updated.
HiI set up my 2 era 100 and my beam gen2 All good to listen music from Spotify but when I use my TV ,only Beam gen 2 is working!! I can't see how to set up my Era 100.Thank you for your helpBarj
Trying to add payers hardwired to my network, they add then vanish. Sonos arc added however couldn't complete TV setup. Had to borrow a friend's iPhone and then I could complete TV setup.
HiSince the new app I have been experiencing issues with one pair of speakers in one room.Firstly one speaker unpaired and became unresponsive - this required a reset and part of this was that the remaining speaker was showing but I could not control the volume or connect a source to it.The slider bar was inactive, and when clicking on a music source it spooled and the just says “something went wrong”.I am now having to play the source in another room, then add the room I am having problems with, adjust the volume and then remove the other room - then the volume control bar is active🤷♂️ This, the lack of sleep function and removal of connecting to my music library has be scratching my head! Anyone else ?
Moderator Note - Translation by Google:I changed my router and internet operator, I had already done this before in several occasions. But this last time, I have the application on my MacBook Pro laptop and my iPhone as was the case years ago, but now I no longer have access to my Sonos One speakers, who has had some experience in this regard.
I have been using Sonos for many years, very reliable and pretty much rock solid. My system consists of 4 Sonos Connect Amps and 3 Sonos Connects. Everything is hardwired, direct Ethernet connection from the Sonos equipment to a switch and from there to the router. WiFi is disabled in every Sonos component.Lately I have experienced that Spotify is very slow when controlled with the Sonos app, but specifically in the connect amps, not in the connects. In the connects the volume control, skip, album cover is almost instantaneous, either with Spotify or local library. But with the connect amps volume change takes 10-30 seconds, skip 5-10s and so on when playing Spotify content. With local files works fine. Very frustrating.spotify works perfectly outside Sonos with my phone or desktop app.So no WiFi related since everything is hardwired, any suggestions where the problem could be? The wierd thing is that it happens only with my connect amp devices. Also the Sonos devices have a reserved ip
My TV is connected to my PC, so if there’s any sound on my PC, it ungroups and switches to the PC sound. I’d like to deselect the options to:TV Autoplay & Ungroup on AutoplayIf I undo these options, how can I manually tell my Sonos TV speakers to reconnect to the sound that my TV/PC is giving off when I’m ready to play music from the TV/PC again? I’d like to switch manually, but I don’t see the option.
I have no idea what is causing it, but my whole Sonos system (two Era 100s, Sonos arc + Sub Mini) is currently a bunch of bricks. I wasn’t a fan of the new app, but I still could listen to music. Then a few days ago started getting random pauses in the music, some speakers dropping off, music stopping altogether. I tried everything in the settings, with networks, etc. Out of desperation, I figured I’d do a factory reset on everything and just re-build the system from scratch. I did that, but now I get “error 1,000” or “error 1,105” or whatever and I can’t register the speakers. They just sit there in the Sonos app as “not registered” and I can’t “fix it” because I just get more errors. I’m located in Canada, btw. I’ve seen things about people using VPNs in the US to get around this, but I don’t have US VPN on my router. This shouldn’t matter, this is a broken product if you need to install a VPN on your router. Sonos is rapidly going from one of my favorite product company to the sour
There used to be a way on the old app where you could adjust group volume but dragging overall volume to zero, lifting finger, and then increasing the volume. All speakers would then have synced to the same volume. The new app seems to have lost this feature - is there another way of doing it I haven’t found?
I’m using the Amazon service but cannot find a way to display album or track info.
Hello everyoneA couple of days ago I received my new Sonos Amp, I already installed it on my old TV via HDMI ARC (Samsung 55MU6103) and configured it with the Sonos App, the App did recognize the HDMI port and listen to the sound it gives. The problemThe problem is that the audio from the TV cannot be heard on the Amp (whether I changed the HDMI cable, disconnected other HDMI devices from the TV, or set the sound to PCM) and it still cannot be heard. The funny thing is that by connecting my Sonos Beam to that same HDMI cable and the same TV without modifying anything, the Beam can be heard, I don't know what else to do with the AmpThe online input of the Sonos Amp works perfectly as well as sending music via WIFI from the Sonos app
We have this situation:3 different devices, on two (2) the Sonos app finds the system and works. On one device, with the updated app version, it does not work. The devices:a) Iphone 14 - IOS 17.5.1 Sonos App vers 80.04.04b) Windows PC - windows 11 Sonos desktop vers 16.2c) Android 12.0.0 Sonos App vers 80.04.05-release + 20240702.edb3233Same wifi networkThe app installed on Android and Windows devices finds the Sonos system and works. The app installed on Iphones does not find the SONOS system. We are not talking about a single IPhone 14 having this problem. We have this model as a company phone: about 50 employees. All employees with this app version cannot use SONOS. Those who have the older version of the SONOS APP installed (light brown icon), on the other hand, can manage the system via the app.

The new app is not great. I type in a music artist and it populates Top Songs by the artist and you cannot just shuffle all those songs and can only play one at a time. This ludicrous but am I doing something wrong? It’s ruining my time by the pool with my Arc, Sonos One surround sound and recently purchased Sonance outdoor speakers. Please advise.
