Hello,Once i install Sonos Boost (RJ45 cable) my whole internet connection is very very slow (TV, laptop, ...).Any ideas how to fix it ?Thank you,Nicolas.
Hi,For some reason I cannot connect the curator playlist on Apple Music to my Sonos’. All working fine apart from that but its annoying as thats the main music I listen to.
Is there a reason why Alexa does not support in SG? And while people can play Apple Music using Google Assistant in other devices, Sonos does not have it!
Hi, I am having a real problem getting my playbase to work. I have tried resetting the playbase but I am unable to get passed chime step. is there anyone who can help.
I would love to have Disney voices instead of Alexa and you could call out say hey Olaf from Frozen or Elsa, Mickey Mouse, and more! Make it more flexible instead of just the plain old Alexa voice and Google Voice be it female or male. Would like it to were you could do your own thing with the voices!
Hello, Was after some technical help, if possible. I have a Play 5 Gen 1 that needs some TLC - the unit powers on fine, connects to the network, is able to play songs etc., but the volume through the speakers drops in and out, like a capacitor is constantly charging and discharging in the background, affecting the power signal to the speakers (i.e not a sudden drop, but a drawn out one). At times, the speakers never receive any power whatsoever, so nothing comes out. Any ideas where to start, what to look at etc.? Are there any schematics about? Am happy enough with a soldering iron and a box of components to take a look at fixing what's wrong, but any pointers would be great. Thanks in advance.

I am able to play other services and local libraries just fine the problem is with Spotify alone. Everything has been rebooted and I have removed and re-added Spotify to the system. I have even reset the entire system to factory defaults and reconfigured it. Diagnostic: 1339432462
Brand new Sonos roam is fully charged and connected to my system. However it is now stuck on the white light and not responding to the power button ( or any other ) being pressed. Can anyone advise?
I’m in the Netherlands. All accounts & devices are located in the netherlands. Factory reset done multiple times. Alexa was working before. It’s just not recognising my microphone and keeps saying Alexa is not available in your country even though I was using it 2 days ago in the same country..! Now I have a Sonos One that is basically just a Sonos SL..
Pretty sure with other google devices you can set the volume of the assistant differently to the music. I like to turn my music up sometimes but dont like Google assisant screaming at me the next morning to wake up. Any idea when this will be added?
Hi, was wondering if it’d be possible to put the rear surround speakers at different distances to the sitting position. Right one about 3 ft back and to the side. and the left one about 9-10 ft behind. Both at about the same height. Is there a way to run optimization for that or would the sound be weird? Please let me know if anyone has tried it. Thanks!
Hi!When i play some songs i can hear some crackling sound. It seems it comes with low volume/low frequent. Im not good with sound so its just a wild guess. Two songs for example: Yiruma - River flows in you and Ken Ring - Själen av en vän (swedish song) In the begining of those songs i can hear this crackling/crunhy sound from both playbar and my sonos one. Could it be a speak issue or is the music production causing it?
Diagnostics confirmation number is: 1068596649.Could you please review the diagnostics sent, and advise if it contains anything abnormal that might be causing the hissing noise from the Arc and One SLs.Thank you.
Hello Guys !I use a few Sonos in my house (two five and a sub + four one) all the Sonos One have Google Assistant enabled with voice match to identify family members speaking. When someone from the family talk to Google Assistant asking to play music, the Sonos play using Spotify (music provider configured in Google Assistant) but it take the last account used in the sonos app.It should be great to identify the spotify account (or other music providers accounts configured on the Sonos App) based on the voice user that ask to play music : I suppose it is possible to identify the google account associated to the voice that is talking to Google Assistant then use this account to match the spotify or other music providers configured on the Sonos App to play with the good account. Maybe renaming the spotify account on the Sonos App to match the google address used by Google Assistant to help identify the account owner or something like that ?Thank you guys to make it possible 😉
To whom it may concern.I changed to a complete Unifi network 1 year ago with UDM pro, several switches and access points (Ac-Pro). My Sonos has been a complete nightmare ever since with audio drop outs and instability in general. (I hardwired one Sonos port hence implementing Sonos net for the entire system (2 Ports and 7 Sonos one) Following suggestions from the internet, I tried several configuration changes to the Unifi network, but I never managed to find a solution which solved my issues.this weekend I tried to change my Sonos system to “Wireless” as defined by Sonos, i.e. no speaker is hooked up by Ethernet cable. This is doable for me since I have execellent wifi coverage to all speakers.Well case closed, all issues solved!!I just wish I had done this Long time ago, would have save me a lot of trouble and frustration. Please note that You may need to reset each speaker and re-add to system to switch to wireless (I had to). Beware You might loose your playlists if you reset all s

Bonjour,Mon sonos Sub ne s’allume plus. J’ai essayé l’appui prolongé sur le bouton, sans succès. Quel est le problème, et comment le résoudre ? Je vois sur ce forum que je ne suis pas le seul à avoir ce problème...
i use sonos amp with a 3rd party subwoofer, but don’t use LFE out on the amp and instead use the high pass filter on the subwoofer back to the sonos amp. i’m looking to add a second subwoofer to that setup, so my question is can i keep the high pass filter in place and use LFE from the sonos amp to the second subwoofer or does using LFE disable the low frequencies from the left and right speaker channels? asked a different way, is the only way to get 2 subwoofers on a sonos amp to split the LFE connection with a Y cable or using the different crossovers I describe above?
TLDR: Boost was the problem.I've got a 6 component + boost Sonos System operating in 3200 SQ ft over 3 floors. For years, whe streaming TuneIn or any other service the system has performed flawlessly whether playing in a single zone or grouping all rooms together BUT when playing my library on a Nas wired to my router I got constant stuttering, drop outs and track skips to the point that I just gave up on playing my own Library (5000 CDs ripped flac).I've also got a 4 Node Mesh Network so this morning I just had the thought that there must be enough bandwidth in my network to support the Sonos and the Boost with Sonos Net might be the problem. Long story short, I went into Sonos settings, enabled my wifi network, then disconnected the boost…..I've listened to 3 whole albums perfectly synced across all rooms without a single stutter or drop. SonosNet isn't always the best solution. I had myself convinced that having Sonos run on its own dedicated network would provide the best per
How to place the arc when you have a foldable TV mount?
We like to travel, while traveling in our RV our dash radio stopped working, no problem just connected my phone to the Sonos Move, and we had music all the way to our destination. Once we got there however, it stopped working, would not pair via WiFi, or Bluetooth to any device. Called support, spent an hour on the phone and they could not do anything to help, told me I HAD TO BE CONNECTED TO A WIRED PASSWORD PROTECTED WIFI IN ORDER FOR MY DEVICES TO FIND IT, Really? And FYI if you don’t have a WiFi connection you also don’t have a blue tooth connection! Then how come it worked for 10 hours while we were driving? Came across this answer which I have attached for your reading pleasure, and because guess what in less then 10 minutes everything was working again on a private password protected hotspot!!!!!! So if you have an issue, try this first!!!!! Trust me I was screwing with it for two weeks until I came across this!Best answer by cycod3rI have this same issue. So far, not a good p
I have 4 newer Sonos One SL speakers. Two are in a pair. After initial installation all was good but now after a couple weeks I can no longer connect to the paired speakers using Airplay to stream my Amazon Music. I can see all the speakers in the Airplay list, the paired speakers and the two individual speakers. I can still connect to the two single speakers with Airplay. I can also connect to all speakers using the Sonos app, and I can stream my Amazon music through the Sonos app. I have factory reset the paired speakers, but still no dice. There are no issues with Wi-Fi networks, coverage, etc. I see a lot of similar problems listed here, but not this exact scenario. Any ideas?
I have a number of devices ( computers, tablets etc .) I usually run my Sonos 1 via my android phone. For the most part works ok, although recently dropped apple music as an option to select - not even in the list? I also have a Chomebook 311 . I installed the sonos 1 app ( orange *one) onto Chomebook . My Account shows up but does not include any of my subscriptions and there is no way to bet past the EULA ro actually use the app. My accounts / subscriptions are: Apple music,* Pandora, Youtube, Amazon music , * Tunein, The* I pay for - I should get you the Youtube free as a deal with Chomebook? It says I have to run Chrome in developer mode? Thought that was for unix or linux ? I just want to be able to run my soearker from the chromebook. The speaker doesn’t show up in bluetooth or nearby devices - chome doesn’t have airplay so can’t send to speakers. wired or unwired. p it does not show up on network Why when I set up and the device was connected- found - why didn’t my subs
Hello! I have had the Sonos ARC and sub for a couple of days now and I have some issues with it. When playing music from Youtube Music the sound stutters for a microsecond, like it’s skipping a beat. I have tried reseting the arc but that didn’t help. I have also updated to the most recent update and that has not helped. I’m running the arc and sub with ethernet cable so it’s not a wifi issue.
