Ive had an Arc, Gen 3 Sub and a pair of Ones as my rear for surround. I recently bought a pair of era 100’s to add as fronts (thus finally have living room surrounded all around), but they’re adding separately as stereo and don’t play with the existing setup. Apparently I’m a moron with this App. Do I need to delete my setup and start over with all speakers??
App keeps asking me to sign out and back in as master owner just trying to add a speaker
I am building a master bedroom suite with a small home theater area. I would like to use in wall speakers and Sonos Amps and a subwoofer for the system. However, I understand the Sonos Ace headphones will not work with the Sonos Amp. Is there a plan to upgrade the Sonos Amp in the near future to be compatible with the Ace? If so, I could proceed as planned and just switch out one of the Amps to the newer model when it becomes available.
I have found several threads about the Sonos app not working on Xiaomi phones, but I do not see a solution to the problem, apart from using the equipment via the website. In marketing information, user manuals and other warnings before purchase there is no information that the application does not work with a specific phone or even an entire line, brand of phones. So I have a question, is anything happening about repairing this problem or should I return the equipment as non-compliant with the terms of the purchase agreement, because there is no chance of repairing this problem!!!???
I have 3 Sonos devices: Move, One, and Roam. I previously used a tp-link router, no major issues. But this weekend I upgraded to asus rt-be86u (which is wifi7 but only has 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands). i have 35+ devices that connected seamlessly to the new router, including the Sonos One and the Roam. However, the Move did not connect. Factory reset Move and attempted to re-add to my existing system. Sonos app (new one) discovers the Move, goes through process of adding it, but gets hung up where it is connecting to the router’s WiFi network. reset modem as well. No luck. searched online this forum for help/ideas, tried several, including ensuring airtime fairness was disabled on both 2.4 and 5ghz band, turning off internet access for all devices through parental controls, etc. updated app, iOS, etc. tried using a different device to set up (iPad instead of iPhone 16). Tried connecting to a legacy IoT network that I set up on the router for older devices. Tried changing channels of existin
i have the exact same problem, need to adjust slider to “ wake “ the speaker, music are all fine, but when i go idle, i have to do the steps above to wake it
I can’t control the volume on the playbar with my Samsung TV RF remote control. The TV is connected to the Playbar with the optical cable. Is it because it can’t be don with a RF remote control or is there anything else to do? Thanks for your help 🙏 Best regards Thomas
There we go again…after some weeks of being kinda able to use the system.. ( something went wrong still did frequently appear ) last week update ruined to volume completely. Sonos you really used all my patience. after seven months you are still not able to deliver an reliable user friendly app.
Please add the ability to park a queue. Currently the only way to do it is to transfer the queue to another sonos player and pause, play something else, and then transfer it back. Such a hack for a professional system. The use case here is let's say you are playing a playlist but someone has a request for a different genre. Ideally you would park the playlist, play however many songs of different genre or a different playlist, and then unpack the playlist. Obviously it would be best if you could park and unpark different named playlists but even ability to do one would be a great leap for mankind. It could be implemented in the playlist itself via a third option to play, and shuffle. I.e: resume.. so each playlist remembers the last song in the queue played and has capability to resume from there.
I’ve been a sonos customer for years and been effected by the kamikaze effect of the software upgrades, and all though well intended, the platform has been destroyed. If anyone buys a sonos product they are nuts. It’s gone from the best to the worst in the market and i have a house full of this s*** now. It can’t even play music without the volume cutting out the user experience is atrocious. Please sort this s*** out, it’s your only job! HelloWe open a new store and are wondering what is the best option to setup our sound system.Facts:not native english speaking, sorry if some infos are not clear :) Room is 400 sqm (22meters x 18meters) no Party, just background music, but still with a little bit of a punch we could get some speakers of a closed restaurant (6x Play:3 + Sub) Question:Should we create 3 rooms with pairs each (Stereo) and group them together to get basically 3 Stereo setups (3 left / 3 right) or better group them all in 1 room (6x Mono)?does it sound better to have stereo sound even in a big room like this or is it not worth it? would three pairs be horrible due to possible timing differences between them? (delay of “the different rooms”?) Thanks a lot in advance for your help :)
I’m getting messages in the app that Calm is no longer available in Sonos. Has Calm removed their service from Sonos? It was working last night. Given all the issues with the app could this be a bug and Calm will reappear suddenly??
When I pick a YouTube music playlist, the queue goes up to 22,000 or more songs. It adds between 200 to 300 additional songs to queue until it maxes out to above 20,000 for all playlists that I choose from YouTube music..Is that normal? Or do you think my system is bugged? This started happening after the most recent update in December of 2024.
Anyone recently have their entire Sonos system stop working throughout their house? I have a handful of listening areas and the Sonos app no longer detects them. Did something change?
J'ai du mal à configurer ma paire Era 100 avec un beam gen 2 pour en faire des enceintes surround Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:I'm having trouble configuring my Era 100 pair with a beam gen 2 to make them surround speakers
Since today Musics apps connexion ( spotify as exemple) to my sonos devices do not work anymore. help me :-(
Hello! I keep seeing a lot of Play 5 Gen 1 speakers for sale on eBay (I’m looking for a Play 1 Gen 1), is it worth getting one? What are the ‘cons’ that may be causing so many people to sell theirs? Thanks 😊 Kate
My Sonos system across my house stopped working in November. I cannot figure why. My home is made up mainly of ‘One’s’, which are maybe ‘Play’s’ in the U.S. plus a Move and a room setup with a Beam and a Sub to make it 5.1ss. Nothing works. Like, nothing. I tried several times before Xmas but left it rather than putting me in a spin and ruining the holidays. The only thing that did work was the room with the beam and sub that worked from the tv. Having now spent all day resetting every speaker to try and start afresh, now that is disconnected as a room system also. Is this some sort of joke? I spent 5 hours on it today trying to figure it out and updating every digital setting in this house, watching a million videos, then two hours (and two separate calls as their home WiFi dropped out mid-call) on the phone to tech support who couldn’t sort it either. I bought this entire system in late 2019, so it’s not ‘old’, despite Sonos pumping out a stack of other products since then. It’s re
I have the Sonos Arc, 2 Era 300s and 2 Sub Gen 3s. I recently purchased the Sonos Arc Ultra. I have a theater room and a living room. Would you replace the Sonos Arc in the theater room which is connected to the Era 300s and subs with the Arc Ultra, or would you put the arc ultra it in its own room if it isn’t going to be combined with the others. If i replace the Arc with the Arc Ultra, i will simply use the regular arc in the living room by itself
I need to cut and re-splice my Sonos power cord to correctly mount my speakers. If the power cord is like any other cord -- say for a lamp or appliance -- this shouldn’t be a problem. But is there something unique about the Sonos cord that would make this operation a bad idea?
Hii I am looking to connect a pair of Sonos ceiling speakers and a single stereo ceiling speaker to the Amp…can anyone help with this please?
folks many videos and music from my YouTube music playlists started to be greyed out in the Sonos app and I can't play them at all and I don't understand why can somebody help?
There is a playlist issue in the Amazon Music app within the Sonos app. Sometimes when I open a user-created playlist there are no play options. The only option allowed is Save to Sonos Favorites. I end up using SonoPhone to start the playlist. I do have an Amazon Music Unlimited account.
No Voice Control working at Brazil anymore since app update. ALexa Skill not available at Brazilian Alexa Store anymore. Amazon has told me is a Sonos Issue. I can not use even Sonos Voice Control. Hours of chating and calling to Sonos.
Is there really no way to scroll through the folders on the Sonos app (on the iPad) except to swipe? I can’t just tap a letter to advance to that point in the folder list? And is there really no way to search the folder list? Please tell me this is all just “operator error.”
