I can no longer access FIP radio either through TuneIn or Sonos Radio. Is this a temporary problem?

I’ve been running in to a problem for the last couple of months and I think I’ve stumbled across the cause.For a while now, occasionally when I’ve asked Alexa to play something from Spotify, she’s replied from one of my Sonos speakers saying “Playing <whatever> from Spotify” only for there to be complete silence. If you ask her a second time to play the same thing, the music then starts playing successfully.I’ve also been running in to a problem where, in the Spotify app, I’ll try and connect to a Sonos speaker via Spotify Connect and occasionally it’ll immediately disconnect. It’s weird, it looks like it’s connecting, and it looks like it very briefly connects for a fraction of a second, and then it’ll disconnect. Attempt to connect to the same speaker a second time and it will succeed and stay connected.From my tests, I think these two issues have the same cause: the Sonos app. Play anything from Spotify using the Sonos app and if you subsequently try to play anything from Spot

I am unable to get any foreign radio stations through tunein, not my saved favorites or any new ones. Nothing. The service is available. I haven’t changed any settings. I can only get uk stations .  Anyone got any ideas? 

I’ve recently swtiched to the new SOnos app. Since then, the only radio stations I’m able to play are those in the UK. Every other radio station eg, 538, Cafe Del Mar and may others will not play at all. I think we can eliminate that these stations have changed the way they boradcast, so can only assume it’s an issue with the new Sonos controller. Can someone help please. Thanks Paul

As of about midday today I can’t play any radio stations except BBC. I’m trying on Tune-In and Sonos Radio principally. I have been accessing stations in the US and Europe for years via Sonos. Is anyone aware of services being removed from e.g. Texas (KXT) or New Mexico (KTAO), or even Spain (Finlandia)?I can still see the stations in Sonos controllers as usual, but when trying to play them, the Pause button shows momentarily but then reverts to the Play button, with nothing actually playing.Is it me, or has anyone else experienced this?

Dear Sonos team/community,since one of the more recent Sonos Controller updates, the experience when browsing Spotify through the controller application totally changed.Since basically the beginning of (Sonos-)time it has been possible to browse the Spotify catalogue for the featured/highlighted playlists which change throughout the day and the thousands of playlists which are available in the different genre sections. E.g. you could go to genres and choose between rock, electronic, mood playlists, rap and many many more.I used this workflow a lot every day to play exactly the playlists of which genre I want to hear right now.Now, as mentioned, this experience has entirely changed. As far as I can see in the iOS or Windows controller apps, it’s now only possible to browse though folders with playlists which I either recently listened to or which are recommended by the Spotify algorithm.Like I said, this breaks a workflow I (and my entire family) was using for quite a few years already.

Hi, several national french radio (via tunelin) are not anymore working (i.e Europe 1, RTL, France Info, ...) Any idea / solution ? Best.

Nothing from SiriusXM is loading in the new app. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am running MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 and SONOS S2 Controller. I am able to import my Apple Music/iTunes library, but the playlists are not importing into the S2 Controller. My understanding is that the new Music app no longer supports XML, which S2 relies on.Is there a way to import Apple Music (iTunes) playlists? Thank you!

Good evening. I've had my Sonos Play:1 for a few weeks now and just started having issues with songs skipping completely. The error log reads 'song not encoded correctly.' I'm not entirely sure what this means, considering all of the other songs on the album play without issue. Is it a connection issue? Like I said, I've only had it for a few weeks, but this is the first time I've had a problem. Thank you!

Since updating to MacOS Catalina 1.0.2.37 my Sonos desktop controller won’t import playlists from Apple Music (iTunes). It updates the music files but can no longer update the playlists.  Any suggestions?

I want to add my Sonos beam into my HomeKit, but I cannot find the device from the home app. I had tried to reset my beam and restart my home but it is not working. 

Since this morning my Sonos System is unable to connect to Apple Music.Here is what I done so far resolve the issue: Re-connect the Apple Music accountNow connect successfullyRe-start Sonos App phone and router. Other service than Apple Music are running without issues.  If I choose a song to play the msg appears „Not able to connect to Apple Music“ I checked the Sonos service page and no issues with Apple Music are displayed. 

Suddenly all devices in the house have stopped connecting Spotify to our Sonos:3 - message says 'cant play this right now' when looking at the list of devices. Tried switching off and on, removing Spotify and reconnecting within the Sonos app, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any ideas that might help? Over the past few months, I’ve noticed that a number of my stored radio stations from Tunein no longer play. Hi,   Google announced that it will discontinue Play Music, and all the music can be migrated to Youtube Music. I just did the migration but now I can’t access my music via Sonos anymore. I added Youtube Music as a new service, but when I click on the service it says I can’t use it without getting a premium subscription. I don’t want a subscription, I just want to listen to my albums I bought from Google Music over a long period of time.   When will you update the YT Music integration to allow us to listen to the music we bought?   Thanks, fame

I just got my new Sonos and everything is great so far. I am an Apple family so I only use Apple Music and Siri. Upon trying to add Apple Music, it seems to recognize my Apple ID but when I click “continue” button I get the error unable to continue or something.  I’ve only had it on for a few moments and all the system updates are applied. I am using iPhone 11 Pro on Public Beta iOS 14. Also seems I can airplay without issue my library, it would be nice to have it fully integrated 

Hi all.  I have recently purchased and plugged my first Sonos speakers. using the Sonos app, I imported all my Apple Music content.  on Apple Music app, I often shuffle on the entire Artist, rather than selecting a specific Album, to listen to. can you please help me and let me know how I can do this on the Sonos app? Also, if I cannot do that (please add it as a feature to correct on the app), how do I create Playlists for Sonos only?Adding artists to my favorites, will simply add those to the first page of the app, rather than allowing me to shuffle on the entire playlist.    Please please please, your help is much appreciated here. hope the Sonos app support crazy people like me :) thank you. 

I’ve played 107.1 The Peak for years on my Sonos system. Now all of sudden I get the error message: “unable to play The Peak / unable to connect to Tunein”?  How can I get my station playing again?

HiI had a Synology NAS DS 216j which unfortunately died a horrible death. I’ve replaced it with a Synology 218[+]. Everything else on my network can see the new NAS and can access it. Unfortunately the S1 controller won’t talk to the new NAS. When I try to add the NAS to the music library I get the error which refers me to the serverstack article.I have fixed the serverstack as MS tell you to, and now showIRPStackSize REG_DWORD 0x000000050 (80). Just for clarity, when trying to add the library, I can browse through to the NAS\music folder and can see all the music there.It’s not the firewall (off or on, same error fault). I have to use the S1 controller as I have a Five which isn’t compatible with S2. I also have a playbar. The S1 can see the Sonos system and works fine otherwise, it just won’t connect to the NAS.I’m running W10 and Norton 360 on the desktop.Any ideas? Really stuck now.ThanksMark  

Search function on iPhone app not bringing up Mixcloud shows under the new “Podcasts and Shows” section. This previously worked when just “Shows” heading before recent release. i’ve reset controller and disconnected/reconnect Mixcloud account on app. Mixcloud search works fine on PC app (you can specify “Mixcloud” search there).   Anyone encountered similar, or even better, overcome issue please?   Many thanks and stay safe   IJP        

It used to work fine and I’m not sure when I lost my search capability. Same result on Mac and iPad: when I search for artists, songs, etc, I get a pop-up saying nothing was found.

Over the past few months, my Sonos One recently started having trouble connecting to spotify, giving me the “can’t play this right now” prompt. It doesn’t work at all from my computer anymore and is intermittent from my phone. I’ve tried resetting the power of the sonos, connecting via wired connection, reauthorizing Spotify and nothing works. Please help!!!   My diagnostics number is 752941994.

Was a happy Sonos SL customer for 5 months.  Amazon Unlimted, pressed the Airplay icon and selected the button for “dining room” and away it went.  Hours and hour of perfect streaming and the speakers worked great.  Last Friday I get a new ISP and new network name and could not get the SONOS speaker to join the new WLAN.   Was on the phone with SONOS tech support for an hour and had to reset the speakers to factory and install SONOS S1 app.  Now I can’t use Airplay from the Amazon App and have to use the S1 App to get the SONOS speakers to work.  Its like SONOS has decided that they want to make me use their App to access my Amazon music.   I want it to work like it used to work.  Was this caused by a new release of SONOS?  Not the end of the world but dammit. I liked it the way it was and I find the user interface on Amazon better than SONOS.
