Hello. I can't add Sonos Playlists (error message says its full and to delete), but I also cant delete old sonos playlists (ask me to confirm delete playlist, I select yes, but nothing happens). Tried on all 3 types of controller (CR100, Android and Windows) tried resetting controller, to no effect. updated to latest version. no effect. Tried on Andorid App, same problem. I have about 36 playlists, some date back to 2008... additional Background: Hardware is 2 x ZP80 and 2 x ZP100. I have had Sonos since 2007, current use the original brick controller (software is v 7.0) plus the controller App for Android and controller App for Windows v. 7.0 ( using windows 10).

Many menu items (including quit sonos and preferences) are greyed out. I can connect the play1 to the router directly and get it to play but its not finding the wireless. I have a new router though I'm pretty sure it was working since I got the new router. I did recently update the sonos controller. what the h can be done here?

Why must there be a 5 sec. delay when adding a song to the queue, before i can navigate in app again?

I'm looking for a way to remotely control Sonos volume without phone/tablet/controller. I would like a simple device that provides volume up/down/mute. Sometimes it's nice to walk up, press a button and mute a zone (or change volume, etc) without the need to pull out the phone, unlock, go to sonos app, select the zone, and then change the volume. Ideally, this remote volume control would be assigned to control one or more zones. I've had Sonos since the days of the original controller and the zp100s. Back then I wired volume controls in rooms to achieve what I'm describing above. Now I am looking for the flexibility of a wireless solution with better Sonos integration. If you are familiar with Philips Hue lighting devices, then what I am looking for would be something similar to the Hue dimmer device which allows you to easily control one or more lights without using the Hue app.

When I try and add tracks to a playlist I get the following message: No playlists have been added to your Sonos playlists yet. The playlists do show up momentarily but are then replaced by the error message - it is really quite annoying and hope that it can be resolved quickly. Many thanks

Need instruction on how to connect the LD non-IR remote to the sonos volume settings.

I want to completely remove the sonos controller and undo all changes made on installation and attempted music library access. I deleted the app and one folder that was just sonos files, but when I search for recent files, I find sonos made changes to more than a dozen system files. Is there an uninstall program? If not, how do I undo the changes the sonos program made to my computer?

Is there gonna be any password protection for the Sonos?? I'd love to know. Theres nothing more I love then getting a heart attack in the middle of the night by someone playing metal on max volume on the sonos in my bedroom. This is why I don't recommend the Sonos speakers.

Hello, I am running Controller for Mac version 7.0. Every since I updated to it, when I try to browse my music library it shows there us "No Selections are available" I have deleted my folder in preferences where iTunes stores my music and added it again a few times. It will add all the music and will show up in the music library, but then it will all drop off by the time I go to use the system again. Any ideaS? Thanks

I use the Sonos application on Windows 10 and on Android devices. When I look at the list of my "Imported Playlists" i See a large number (about 34) of playlists with the name "Internal error - Invalid Atom". It looks like they are old "queues" that I created at various times. Why were they created and how do I get rid of them?

Hello, It would be nice to have a lock in the buttons on the speakers. I have 3 cats and they are walking over the buttons. They turn the speakers on, louder, softer etc. Maybe is it an idea to make a option in the software to switch the lock on and off. Greets gert

Probably someone pointed it out already, but I feel a surround test tone in the sonos app would be useful. A lot. The classic "This is Front Left channel, This is Front Right channel, ..." voice that comes from the speaker it is referring to. As a Sony TV owner I had the luck of having the full 5.1 surround signal coming from the optical out, but a lot of people have TVs where the optical out only manage a PCM 2.0. With a simple tone like that you could know immediately if your surround works and if you set it correctly in terms of L/R. The test tone page could be put immediately after the one where the creation of the surround is confirmed. Maybe it could be made in the same way as the sub's one is: the test tone plays on the surround and you can manually adjust its volume to your taste. Never took this long before. Can't access library while indexing on PC or ipad controller. Received new phone internet modem from provider but everything else the same. Any ideas? Been hours. Does play what is in queue.

Hi Guys, Let me start off by saying I love you guys. I have a Playbar, Play 5, Play 3, Connect, and am looking to complete my Playbar setup with a couple of Play 1's and a Sub soon. I also have an Amazon Echo and it is awesome. In fact, it's a bit too awesome and I find myself asking Alexa to play music just because if I want to hear a song, all I have to do is ask; I don't have to bust out my phone. The problem is the speakers on the Echo are mediocre at best. I would much prefer the sound to come out of my Sonos system. With the "internet of things" really starting to take off - integration is going to become more and more important. Can I use a borrowed iPhone to run trueplay and have it work when that phone is no longer present?

I know this has been asked many times in the past, but when I search for an artist it does not search compilation albums while sorted in itunes compilation or Album Artist. I find this incredibly frustrating as i have hundreds of compilation albums. I have switched on contributing artists, but the search function still doesnt search them. Can this be added at all in the future?

I really wish SONOS would get on a develop a True Play App for Android. Its very frustrating that there are more Android Phones than Iphones so there really ought to be an app. I read somewhere about the complexities of different versions of android but other developers seem to be able overcome this so why not SONOS. rant over!

I just downloaded the desktop controller for Mac, updated the software, and connected with my speaker. But everything under the Manage menu is greyed out, so the only thing I can listen to is preset radio stations. Why is everything greyed out, and how can I access those fields, specifically Music Library Settings?

Hi, I am in the midst of building out a Home theatre setup and like many would like to reduce the number of wires in my living room.  I currently have a PRIMARE SPA 22 A/V receiver (http://www.primare.net/assets/_managed/cms/files/SPA22usermanual.pdf) and also a pair of JM Lab Focal front speakers both of which produce exceptional sound. I would like to know whether it is possible to use my existing 2 channel setup with the PRIMARE SPA 22 A/V receiver but introduce a centre channel and 2 rear surround channels all connected to the A/V receiver so that I can have the A/V receiver pushing the sound from a BluRay movie/player to the the Sonos components and the 2 Focal speakers.
