Controllers and Music services

Hi, I’m trying to run the trueplay optimisation but when the noise test starts at the very beginning it seems it never ends. Attached the screenshot. Any advice on how to proceed?I already followed the basic instructions: no noise in he room, no other open apps, no Bluetooth devices connected…thanksN  

When I play a folder on my Sonos app, then next song in the list begins playing about 1-2 seconds before the current song is completed. Playing the same folder on a different media player to my ear buds works correctly and there is a short dely between songs. Len

have an Amazon Australia Prime 30 day trial. Have selected Amazon music in Sonos app and authorised the account. Service appears but when select music ie a station it says I need to start a trial with Amazon UK.  I do have an Amazon UK account but no prime membership.  is there a setting somewhere with Amazon that I need to change? 

I have an album of wma songs on my phone. I can play the songs through my phone to Sonos if I go through the option to play music on 'this device'. However, I want to add the songs to a playlist, but every time I call up the 'add to a Sonos playlist' it doesn't do anything. It's like the option, in bold black like the rest of the options, is just a bunch of words and not a 'button'. I can select other options, just not the add to a Sonos playlist one. What's going on? What am I doing wrong? 

Hi I have Sonos S1 on my iMac.Recently sold my PLAY5 gen 1, so I thought I would upgrade my system to S2 all others as S2 compatible.On phones, Ipad, and other devices all ok; but on the MacBook Pro the app store does not list the Sonos S2 App? And on the Sonos website it states it is only available through the app ?? ? ? So where is it ? ? ? thanks

I am once again asking if there is anyway to sort folders in the music library independently?  For my podcasts I want it sorted by name, for music by song number.  I asked this question a year ago.  Others have asked for this earlier.  I’m still using S1...is this any different in the new controller?  If not, all I can say is this is really bad that something like this hasn’t been implemented.

If I’m listening to music on Beam, but had speech enhancement and/or Night Sound turned ON the last time I was watching TV, do I have to use the Sonos app to switch from music to TV, then turn off speech enhancement, and then switch back to music?  Or, are speech enhancement and Night Sound automatically disabled when listening to music?

So.. My Sonos Move ran out of juice. A typical situation, no doubt. It showed in the Android App as offline. I tapped it a few times (don’t know why, I guess I was a bit trigger happy) and it disappeared from the list of devices. I put it to charger base. It didn’t reappear. I tried reset + add new device, for very 1/5th of a second it finds Sonos Move, but then that window goes away and the app keeps searching for a device. Hmm I wonder, reboot the phone, same continues. I can’t add it, I can’t reset & add it. I go look from the Windows Desktop app. Well - in there, I can see it. I can control it. I can’t control it via Alexa tho. Sent diagnostics reports, mobile n667243110, desktop n16643197. 

Hello,I have built my sonos system over the years and loved that I could link the rooms, I have older 2 x ZP120, 1 x connect, 5 x play 1, 5 x connect amp…….. is it possible to run it all on the older software and older app and have on the same system, lately it keeps telling me items are incompatible and open S1 or open S2.  I’m not bothered if I have to run on the older version of the app but don’t want two systems really as I often use the line in to play vinyl music through the house.  

I guys,I can i play the music in my PC library in Sonos when my PC is turned off?I receive the message that Sonos can’t connect to my PC .Is there anyway to save the musics in Sonos app and don’t need to turn on my PC?Best regards 

Is it possible to stream from a Bluetooth device, like a Turntable, to a Sonos Arc?The specs mention it having Bluetooth LE but, I’m not sure if that is just for apps on phones etc., to use. TIA

Hi,Recently, Spotify has started the service in Korea. I also have became Spotify users a few weeks ago.However, I am not able to find Spotify in Sonos app yet. I wonder that when Sonos support Spotify in Sonos app so that Korean users can add to music service. I really want to use Spotify with Sonos. Please check out the time when Spotify will be added. Thanks.

According to support.sonos.com, in the ‘My Music’ tab of the Sonos app you can “Listen to all the music you already own and love, and browse over 30 million songs in the Apple Music catalog.” I am yet to figure out how you can ‘browse’ the Apple Music catalogue (short of downloading them all into your own library beforehand!). Does anybody know how this is possible? Thanks. 

Hello, Opened my sonos controller app and Google play is no longer available.  Is this the case?I have playbar and play 3 speakers. 

Anyone know why, after I hide the “Recently Played” section in my app it will reappear a few days later? (Likewise, sometimes the My Sonos items get re-arranged). You’d think these settings would be stored to remain consistent and to be re-applied after any major app updated. Anyone else see this?Any ideas?

In Big Sur, the’ve eliminated “Power Saver” settings, replacing them with “Battery”.  “Battery” doesn’t have the option to keep hard disks awake.  Even with my Mac set to not sleep, it still sleeps, and can’t play music I have stored on my Mac.  Anyone else experiencing this, or have a solution?

I just signed up for the Sonos Radio HD service. When I go to browse the Sonos Radio music service there has been no change and I can't see any of the HD radio stations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My whole system has been upgraded to S2 and my Sonos account is based in the UK.  Thanks. 

I just can’t find the answer to this anywhere: Does the Sonos One (Gen 1) support Airplay 2?

When I use Android Sonos Controller to play music using 'On this Mobile Device' album tracks appear in the wrong order (see below). The album starts with track 1 then moves to track 10, 11,12 etc. until the end of the album before returning to tack 2? My large music collection was transferred to my phone from my iTunes folder using the iSyncr app. None of these errors exist in either iTunes or Poweramp app (populated from the iSyncr folder on my phone) Other anomalies appear with double albums and splitting errors are common, again, these errors do not appear anywhere else (see below) Can anyone explain - in the simplest way possible - why this is happening?  

Is it possible to connect SONOS to more than one Spotify account?I use Spotify for streaming music and have my Spotify account connected to my SONOS system. But when my wife logs in to SONOS from her phone or laptop, it connects to MY Spotify account.Is it possible for SONOS to connect to HER Spotify account on her phone/laptop so she can have access to her own playlists instead of having to play off mine?

Feature Request: Display the list of playlists in music services’ Libraries alphabetically.There currently is no way to change the display order of music playlists (for Spotify and Youtube Music, at least). That’s pretty terrible - the SMAPI spec does not require any particular ordering from the service, nor does it allow the app to specify an order, so it’s basically luck of the draw. I expect some services to return data alphabetically, others by most recently or frequently played, yet others completely unsorted (“hash order”, as it were).For search results, I expect Sonos to respect the returned order, assuming that the service will be attempting to return the best match first. For a generic getMetadata response, the expectation is clearly invalid, and, consistency between services aside, it’s a terrible browsing experience.The SMAPI spec doesn’t support additional data such as recency or play count, so sorting by those in the app isn’t an option. Fine. But “alphabetically by title”

Dear SONOS,I have a ton of spurious repeated playlists labelled as “Internal error - Invalid Atom” which I need to delete from the third panel window section, under the Imported Playlists panel.Also, my “TOP RATED” iTunes playlist doesn’t sync to the SONOS One Desktop nor my iPhone Music Library Listing ???  There appears to be major problems with syncing an accurate copy of my iTunes Playlist(s) to SONOS.This is crazy,….. this has been a systemic problem for years now which hasn’t been seriously addressed by SONOS, to my knowledge. Why is this so difficult SONOS ?    Here’s your chance to fix this issue.My faith in SONOS is being challenged right now after investing $1,000’s in my SONOS system.I am also having major WiFI Stability issues with speakers dropping in & out regularly. Best regards,Chris.

How do I listen to Radio-Canada's Ici Musique?TuneIn won't work and it's not listed in Sonos' radio choices.It’s a Canadian public broadcaster  French-language station, which plays great stuff. It’s sister network (English-Language) CBC Radio & Music is offered but not Ici Musique or Radio-Canada!I’d love to see it listed in the choices

Is there no landscape mode for sonos S1 iPhone app?

Hi,when I use my Sonos One alarm I receive a notification on the screen of my iPhone XS (iOS 13.6.1). I then use 3D touch to be given the option to snooze. When I select snooze I get an alert to say “No alarm is playing” and can’t then snooze the alarm without opening Sonos App stopping the music and setting another alarm. It’s the same whether using music, radio or the Sonos chime options for the source.Does anyone know how to fix this?Thanks.
