We are able to inially hear the record on the TRNTBL playing over the Sonos. The problem happens when trying to switch to Pandora and back to TRNTBL. When switching back to TRNTBL with a record playing TRNTBL does not reconnect to Sonos. Sonos shows I’ve selected Line In but continues to play Pandora. I have run a ping test and verified the TRNTBL is staying connected to my WiFi. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone help me.

Hi ! My Sonos remote control device suddenly after5 years was not running or charging, I bought a new battery, apparently it was charging but when I remove from the charging dock, the screen is getting black (when is charging is doing a low noise). What can it happen? Thanks

Hi! I searched on the community but the answers are not very clear to me. So I've the following case; I already owned a Sonos Connect AMP but today I bought a new receiver - NAD T 758V3. In the attachment the backside of the NAD. My question is: Is it possible to use the Connect AMP with the NAD? If yes which of the Sonos Connect AMP connections I need to use with the NAD?! 😃

New house— I have speakers built into the living room wall already. I’m just not sure if this is a receiver or not (basically do I need a Sonos connect or sonos connect amp)? Here is a picture of what’s there.

I am not that computer literate so I am probably asking a couple of very dumb questions about reInstalling my Sonos kit. We are moving into a new flat and the router is located in one corner of the main living area. There is one Ethernet socket on the wall opposite. (1) If I connect my Sonos Connect: Amp to the Ethernet socket does this form the necessary connection needed for my Sonos system to work? (2) Ther are 2 Ethernet ports on the Sonos Connect: Amp so if I connect my smart HDTV to the other Ethernet port will this provide a hard wired internet connection for the TV via the Sonos Connect: Amp and / or just TV sound playback through the Sonos Connect: Amp. What is the cost, and where do I send a Connect AMP for out-of-warranty service/repair? I live in Singapore and can't find any repair place in Singapore

So I have a Connect and I have a Pro-Ject Essential III turntable. I have the turntable plugged into the Connect, however I still hear no sound over the rest of my wireless Sonos system. Any ideas on what the problem is? Should I have bought a ConnectAmp instead? Thanks

Appreciate some advice please. Considering buying a Project essential III phono (with built in pre-amp) and looking for the best way to connect it to my existing sonos set up of 2x play 1 and 1x play 3. I am considering buying a connect OR a play 5. I have considered a preloved play 5 as a way to enhance my existing set up for a similar cost of just the connect. Any opinions on this much appreciated.

When tv is switched on or channel changed in one room, the speaker in another starts playing the tv sound.

I'm not an audiophile, but really like the end-user simplicity of setting up and using the Sonos product line. I would really like to roll Sonos speakers out to all of the rooms in the house, garage, and even in the yard. The current line of products are nice, but most cannot be "hidden" away as a ceiling or landscape speaker can. Are there any plans to release a line of ceiling or landscape speakers?

Sorry if this has been answered already. I am trying to clarify how airplay 2 volume control works with grouped sonos devices. More specifically: I am thinking of re acquiring a sonos connect after selling mine a while back. I understand that if I group the connect with an airplay 2 enabled Sonos One, I can then use my iphone to airplay music directly to this group. My question is: If I want to control this grouping outside the sonos app, will I be able to use my iphone (through apple music) to control volume separately for the sonos connect and sonos one? or will the particular grouping (Sonos connect + Sonos One) show up as a single volume slider hence not allowing for separate volume control for each device? Hi. Is there a way of connecting a turntable to the Beam without using Connect, Connect amp or Play 5? If so, do you know of a recommended turntable? I have a single Connect:AMP that drives speakers in two different outdoor areas. It'd be ideal to have a mono output option that would combine the stereo input into a single mono output for both "L+R" speaker connections.

I have a Audio Technica turntable connected to a Sonos: Connect. It has a built-in phono pre-amp, and I'm wondering if I need to use an external pre-amp. What would I gain?

The Connect has been around a few years, and depending on SPDIF and thus the internal clock of the Connect is not a high-end option anymore. I'd like to see an USB-A digital output on the Connect. With this, external higher-precision clocks can be used (on the DAC, on other USB to SPDIF/I2S interfaces etc). I wouldn't mind if Connect also would support high-resolution services from e.g. Tidal, but that would just be icing on the cake. I love Sonos Connect as the most versatile streamer in terms of easy to use and supporting many streaming services, but the lack of an USB interface puts me off. Add it, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I know that there are companies modding the Connect, and that there are plenty of SPDIF decrapifiers, but those are just half-baked solutions.

I currently have an existing home theatre 5.1 surround sound in wall wired speakers and whole house audio that consist of in ceiling wired speakers in 4 separate rooms (circa 2010). They are are currently run by a receiver that has 5.1 and a switch that allows me to run different media into the other rooms. Now that I am using Apple TV solely (no cable/Fios just internet), I would like to clean up and simplify my system while using the existing speakers. Ideally, I like to be able to play Hulu TV or a movie using 5.1 surround and extend to other rooms, or be able to strictly airplay from my phone to other rooms while someone else is watching Apple TV. Sonos AMP looks promising but doesn't support 5.1 surround with existing wired speakers and do I have to get multiple devices in order to incorporate the whole house audio? Any solution options would be helpful. Thanks!

I have a Play 5 and the Marantz turntable. What would be the best preamp to get so that I get the same output levels as I do when streaming (or better)?

Has anyone successfully used a Bluetooth transmitter module with their Connect for BT speakers that will occasionally be used outdoors? If so, what product? My goal is to simply extend whatever is being played on my Sonos system to my outdoor roof deck, which is L-shaped and approximately 400 sq ft. The Connect and BT module would reside in the landing just inside the roof deck, which is already confirmed to have sufficient internal signal strength as I have an existing Play 1 in that space which works perfectly. I do not want to use wired speakers due to the complications in layout and home construction, and in reality, I don't want nor can I have loud or full sound on my roof deck, just more of an ambient background thing. I'm fully aware of the limitations and potential gotchas here--the reach of BT to the outside area, latency of what's playing outside via BT, separate sound control of the BT speakers, compromised fidelity etc etc, so in reality I'm just looking for conf

Recently moved and can’t get connect amp to connect

My turntable has a built-in pre-amp which can be turned off if the receiver has an input for the turntable. My belief (which may be incorrect) is that routing the turntable through the phono input on the receiver will generally result in better sound than using the pre-amp in the turntable. In that regard, what is the meaning of this sentence on the Sonos website (https://en.community.sonos.com/music-services-and-sources-228994/using-a-turntable-with-sonos-6769426)?: "Your audio receiver may have a phono input, which means you can wire the turntable directly to the receiver. To pass the analog signal along to Sonos the receiver should have a Tape/CD Out, Rec Out, or Zone 2 Out. (Note: additional configuration may be required to trigger the audio output on the receiver)"? Does this sentence mean that I can use the phono input on the receiver and get the sound to my Play:5 by running a cable to the Play:5 from the receiver's Tape/CD Out, etc.?
