 It’s interesting how a topic can be closed before a fix is made.  I suppose because there was no activity the subject was not important enough which does make sense.  Seems there aren’t that many in this community that listen to gapless orchestral music in Atmos.   Trying to listen to Mason Bates: Anthology of Fantastic Zoology streamed from Apple Music in Spacial Audio.  The bumps at louder track transitions is very irritating.  Maybe this can’t be fixed.  Would love to know.

Beam (gen2) having popping noise issue  with erac HDMI and which restart itself once problem is faced. Intermittent. Connection is with Xiaomi s mini led 65" tv.Also have similar issue with tv box n ps5. Tried formatting, did power cycle also not use.

Hi folksi’m a sonos amp and sub user for more than 1 year and i think i’m going to leave the community because i realize Sonos is not really aware of what’s going on about music loverslet’s get an examplesonos app for the sonos amp is the worst app i ever seen .Since their update , we just deal with a 2 eq band ( i remember we had to “beg” sonos to re install the pan left / right  position on the app after the  update)  that is ridiculous in terms of music corrections .i think it’s not a professional  way of working with  music lovers who’ve invested in sonos products.so i ‘m about to leave and sell  my sonos products and move to a more professional music streaming company, this joke has lasted too long folks.S.

I’ve owned Sonos on and off since the first generation...not even sure how far that goes back but nearly 20 years.I am just amazed that the company does not seem to be able to progress with the times. I just bought 8 WiiM mini’s for $80 each for my multiroom audio set up, connected to a $1000 16 channel amp. Does Sonos seriously expect me to buy 8 bulky $500 Ports instead to do this? The idea is absurd. Sonos, competitors are going to eat your lunch.Also I bought I Sonos Era 300 and the sound is awful. A $289 Adam T7V paired with an $89 WiiM mini is infinitely superior.So, good bye Sonos. 

The worlds most anoying app. Sonos have ruined the use of this feature. I can not recommend Sonos. They should soon get their app more userfriendly, it is almost impossible to use

I got a restaurant in the gothic district of Barcelona (Spain) since 2010 and I’ve gradually introduced Sonos in the bar and the main restaurant seating area back into 2016, with Sonos 1 speakers and two years later I’ve added the subwoofer. Sound always good until they introduced their disastrous app 2 years ago. Hardware is perfect, it was just a major software F…. Up and the perfect case study for failed corporate PR. I always had to justify to my employees why I was keeping Sonos. Bit by bit they improved the performance but 2 days ago I’ve checked for an update (I do it manually) and updated. The next thing is that I had never experienced such a STELLAR change in sound quality and moreover, the definition, details and 3D sound. All this with (still) 2 Sonos 1, subwoofer paired with them and a third independent Sonos era 100 behind the bar. So those 3 units create an incredibly more immersive sound. I want to be able to rearrange my services on the home page of the app. The services I use most are at the end and I have to scroll over to them each time. This has been brought up a number of times before.Since the only two options when posting are "ask a question," and "it is a conversation," I guess I'll make it a question smh...why can't I rearrange my services on the home page of the app?

I think I’m finally done with Sonos. My Play Five (2nd generation) hasn’t worked well since I got it. But now it is a brick and I’ve spent many hours independently and on with Sonos just trying to get it to connect to the app. I’m not looking for suggestions, I’ve tried everything -- I’m just looking to vent with other frustrated former or soon to be former Sonos owners. I deeply regret all the money I spent.

For my serious music listening I prefer my Sonos Fives in stereo pair with Sub 3. My primary genre is smooth jazz.However, as I own an Arc Ultra with Era 300’s & Sub 4 x 2 and a stereo pair of Era 300’s with Sub 3; I’ve been curious about Dolby Atmos for music. I‘ve streamed various Dolby Atmos tracks to both setups and frankly have not been overwhelmingly impressed. That said I will give the edge to the Arc Ultra setup.One thing I’ve learned (at least to my ear) is that Dolby Atmos for music sounds best when the mix is more “eclectic” rather than straight forward. Understand...I’m not a sound engineer so “eclectic” was the best term I could think of to convey my thoughts.One artist that came to mind that I felt embodied “eclectic” mixes in their music was Prince. 7 weeks ago, I ordered and paid in full for a pair of Sonos speakers; a week later, UPS lost the package before attempting delivery (and acknowledges their responsibility to reimburse Sonos), but for weeks customer service (representative Amber J, specifically) has been actively avoiding taking any tangible steps to fix the situation. Sonos did not reach out to me about the situation at any point, they have not offered to provide a replacement or refund, and the responses from customer service have been intentionally evasive and repetitive while failing to provide any tangible resolution.  In summary:  Sonos is actively disregarding consumer protection laws that deal specifically with the issue of ordering merchandise online.The experience has been infuriating, and I am sure that I am not their first customer to get this runaround.  Maybe someone cares, I don’t know.  In case you have found this post looking for resources to help you with a similar problem, avenues of

When choosing a track in the personalised My Mix playlists in YouTube the track selected is not the track that gets played. There doesn't seem to be any reason for why a particular track plays. It's in the playlist but is not anywhere close to the track actually selected. 

I currently have a Playbar, two Play:1s as surrounds , a Sub Gen 1 and another Play:1 in my wife's studio. If I replaced the Playbar with an Arc Ultra I believe I would have to replace the Play:1 surrounds but not the Sub. But would I still be bale to use the Play1 in my wife's studio and place the replaced surround Play:1s in other rooms of the house? 

Hi all,I recently attempted to claim warranty support for my Sonos products and discovered that Sonos does not appear to use the purchase invoice to validate warranty. My wife purchased a Gift Card for me in Nov. 2025 as a Christmas gift.  Expecting to get an email from them and checking Spam/Trash folders for a couple of weeks, absolutely nothing.  She then logged a request for help and the Sonos folks said in short, “We’ll look into it however we’re be closed for the holiday.”  Fair enough.  Fast forward to early January, a couple more requests for status and to paraphrase, “we’re still working on it.”  As of this posting, she’s still getting zero resolution on a gift card she paid for three months ago for digital delivery.If a business isn’t able to easily exchange goods for money nor able to support it’s customer in that exchange, that’s a failing business model.  We’re forced to get our bank involved to reverse the charge because we have not received what was purchasedSonos… I have loved and purchased your products for business and personal use for years.  I have recommended your products to so many. Do better!NOTE:

Answering another question here reminded me of an old audio device I had, a dbx subharmonic synthesizerThe dbx analyzed the music being played and if it saw a lack of lower frequency sound it would create and add subharmonics to it. Back in vinyl days it was common to reduce the low frequency content to better fit the remaining content onto the record. Not so common a reason today, but for some reason many tracks don't seem to have the low frequencies you hear in a live performance. https://dbxpro.com/en-US/products/120aMight need a license from dbx but adding that to any Sub enabled room would be a good selling point, both nicer to listen to and more justification for buying the Sub or miniSub.

Updated router... Was able to get my Sonos One connected, other 4 devices would not connect.Called customer support, after 50 minutes of repeat instructions (with a bit more info added each time) was able to connect one more device... Trying to connect the third, I was asked to unplug the Port for a few seconds... Still didn't work... Then was told to unplug the Port and hold the button when I plugged it back in (why wasn't that requested the first time?)... Still couldn't connect... Absolute garbage, all the system had to do was recognize the new router. Too bad I'm locked into this system. Definitely a Negative.
