Wondering if anyone has put sonos in their RV? What have you used?

I have a Sub that - from the beginning of the serial number - was manufactured in February 2014. The packaging and cosmetics of the Sub match those of a Gen 1, but when I check my system details online, it says it’s Gen 2.I double checked with an online Sonos rep and they confirmed the same thing. Even though the product image on my ‘System” page doesn’t match the actual Sub I have.Did Sonos release the Gen 2 in the beginning of 2014 WITHOUT changing the cosmetic design?My Sub with the packagingMod Edit: Removed serial number

I am trying to understand minimum upgrade options on my legacy system. My configuration is 2 Sonos Play:1 speakers, 1 Sonos Connect, and 1 Sonos Connect:AMP, all currently connected via Sonos Bridge. All were purchased in 2013 except for one Play:1 that was added in 2016. I am interested in utilizing the upgrade discounts to add Airplay capability. Not sure if I can mix and match old with new or if I need to upgrade everything. Question: Are any of these legacy components compatible with the newer Sonos S2 iOS App? According to the Sonos website, When an AirPlay compatible Sonos product is playing AirPlay audio, you can group it with any other Sonos product in your system for multi-room playback.Question: Does that mean I could upgrade one Play:1 speaker to an Era and stream music via AirPlay to that speaker, and then group it with the rest of the legacy system (or maybe at least the other Play:1 speaker)?

I’m looking for some guidance on setting up a multi-room audio system. Living Room: This will be the main area for TV watching, so guessing the unlimate immersive set?Master Bedroom: I plan to do some TV watching here as well, so I’d like a good audio setup, but not as extensive as the living room.Dining Area: I’m unsure how to effectively cover this space. Any recommendations?Bathrooms: I was thinking of using single Era 100s. Would that be sufficient?Balconies: I’m debating between the Roam or Move for these areas. What would you suggest? I’m looking to achieve full coverage without going overboard.  Thanks!  

Prospective Sonos customers that ask me if they shoul start building a Sonos system in their homes are being told to buy a pair of hd headphones and wait till a replacement for Sonos comes along.

I am looking to add Sonos to my outdoor patio. It will be 24’ x 26’. I want to add 2 TV’s and have Sonos run the sound. What products do you recommend?

I looking forward to get a 300 era, I know that it`s not compatible with the minisubbuffer. As an option if I get it, I think that the only one is to create a new system for the 300 era and play them at the same time, Can somebody give me another advise?

Hi, I’m about to bring Sonos into my Home Theatre and am getting a bit confused - help!   I can’t have rears as there is nowhere for them to go, so was looking at ceiling speakers above the seating position instead, but given the size of the room I’m now thinking it may be overkill…..and unnecessary hassle. Soundbar + Sub + Era could be the way forward perhaps?What would be the best sound solution for this sized room?Arc or Beam Soundbar?Era100 or Era300?  (They can sit next to the TV with no worries)Would there be any benefit in ceiling speakers if I go Era300?  My ceilings are 2.4m (7.8ft).  

I live in an approx 650 sq ft studio apartment and 11’ high ceilings. I listen to music and watch tv. My systems ok; except that I’m hard of hearing and struggle to follow the tv audio (especially dialogue) when I’m in the kitchen, which is only maybe 12-15’ from the tv (maybe exacerbated by the ceilings?). I got the Denon Home 150 for the kitchen counter. It creates a lot of echo which, by itself wouldn’t be a problem (I just turn down the sound bar and floor speakers) except that some channels, most in fact, 1) have a significant stuttering effect and 2) don’t really get very loud - defeating the whole purpose. I’ve always read that Sonos is the king of audio visual pairing. Is there a single (tight on space) speaker that would work in my kitchen? Could I pair such an additional speaker with my Bravia TV and Denon receiver set up - or would I have to replace my receiver with a Sonos soundbar?

Buying a new soundbar for a small room but don’t know what to buy. Watching movies and listening to music 

Hi There  here is the layout of our flat and we want to purchase Sonos for this flat. So far we have an in ceiling speaker in the master ensuite.  but we will need to purchase a system for the living  room/ kitchen / dining and standalone speakers/ sound for each bedroom. Only one TV in living room ( bedrooms don’t have TV’s).  what would you recommend at a sensible cost don’t want to go over the top on spend? 

What is the least expensive method to connect a Bang & Olufson beosound stage soundbar to a sonos play ONE OR a sonos Play:3.  I know a Sonos port is an option but last I checked that device costs about $500.  Thank you.  

We are looking to install a home audio system in our rental property for which we use as well. Looking for ceiling speakers (2-4) as well as outdoor speakers (2-4). Looking for a Recommendations on equipment. Thank you in advance. 

I have a home with 5 zones of wired speakers, each zone have a wall mounted volume control, all speaker wire goes back to the same location. I want to be able to stream music over all zones or some of the zones and would like to connect TV audio to one of the zones. Is this something that Sonos can do and if so what equipment do I need. The music stream would come from my ipad or phone. Thank you

I have a Sonos beam/soundbar/sub connected tomy TVs and want to extend the sound to an indoor/outdoor patio space, can someone recommend a simple wireless Sonos speaker option? Thx 

Hello experts! Advice?I have a move and a move2  and they work just GREAT together using airplay... Chose both and crank it up!! . I can even select my TVs and it will show the song and album art from Spotify.. im sure this is old news to you yall ...but Im thrilled! Having so much fun I'd like to buy one or two or three more speakers to fill in the rest of the house..What is a good older Sonos that I could find on FBmarketplace or eBay that would work  on airplay along with the current two Moves? Battery is optional.Thanks y'all! 

I currently have the setup as in the below picture and am looking to replace the four Sonos units (Sonos currently work as I still have the March version of the iOS app and 16.2  - but I assume soon it won’t work anymore). What can you recommend (I want an easy-to-use, no nonsense app)?Any other thoughts about my setup (I am also planning to at some point replace the connection to my stage piano with a wired one - but at the moment something in the cat6-in-wall-wire isn’t working as it should). 

Hi - I am looking for some advice on adding some Sonos speakers to my kitchen dining room, and would like to figure out the best arrangement?The room is approximately 6.7m long and 5.0m wide (though only 3.8m wide for the last 1.7m of length..), with a really high 3.1m ceiling. Half of the room is a kitchen with an island, with the other half a round dining table and couple of chairs separately. Floorplan attached though dining are is an old plan.I was thinking an Era 300 for the kitchen area on a shelf on the back wall and another Era 300 in the dining area on a stand. These are indicated by the circled red crosses on the floorplan below. But would appreciate some advice on whether this is the right balance - overkill or not enough?(Also note, no option to add ceiling speakers or anything built in, as the room is finished)Thanks in advance for any help!  

Hi everyone! I have an amp and four passive speakers in my living-room. They’re OK but I would like to replace them with two sonos speakers, so I can integrate them in my Sonos system. I have a projector and a TV connected to one Android box. I do everything there: connect to Spotify and other music services, stream films, watch TV… Which options do I have?Thx, regards

I have the old connect:amp so I am unable to upgrade my sonos.  The connect amp is connected to 2 hardwired speakers.  I just want to confirm that I can get the Amp to replace the Connect Amp.  It looks like it has the same features and then I can probably upgrade. 

I’m moving into a new home and looking for advice on multiple sonos products before buying.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!Primary listening room is an open concept living/dining/kitchen area (~35’x35’ with 20’ ceilings).  65” LG TV with E-Arc connection wall mounted.  Was considering the Arc speaker connected to this TV with E-Arc cable and supported by the Sonos sub.  I have a hard line ethernet cable run to this wall from the office if you suggesting plugging it into the Arc sound bar.  Rear surrounds would sit much further back in the room and likely higher on some cabinets.  Debating between Era 300s and Fives for the rears.  This primary room will be for TV watching, movies, and streaming music.  I’d like this room to be hands free and voice controlled completely if possible.  I’ve had high end setups in the past but i’m trying to simplify this time.  Focusing more on voice control with no remotes or phones needed.I’m considering an Era 100 in the master bedroom,

Does anyone know which is the best Sonos product to use to connect my Arcam Solo CD Player up to with reasonable ease?Would it be a Port? If so what are the best connections?

I finally got around to looking into how to get my personal music library set up with a NAS.  I see many posts from 2 months ago.  What is the latest?  I need to purchase a NAS - what to get?  2 months ago people were using SonoPhone for Sonos and could not go back to the original app Sonos S1 Controller.  Catch me up please.  I welcome your advise and tips.Thank you.
