Apologies if this has been answered before, but many of the threads I’ve found are questions regarding third-party amps or speakers. I recently purchased an Arc. I’d like to connect my turntable (Audio-Technica AT-LP60X, with built in pre-amp) via the Port. Will this “work” with a Sonos Sub in the same room?Just trying to listen to some LP’s. Thanks in advance for any help.
I was going to buy another two speakers today. I put them in my cart and it indicated that I would get a 20% discount. I then realized that I qualified for a 15% upgrade discount. I removed the two speakers from my cart, select two of my existing speakers to upgrade, and returned to add the two speakers I wanted to purchase to my cart. To my surprise I was only credited with a 15% discount, not a 15% discount on the price that had been discounted by 20%. I still wanted the speakers so I figured that I would be able to choose the 20% discount instead of the 15% upgrade discount. No such luck! There is now no way to remove the 15% discount and return to the 20% discount. My attempt to save some money would actually cost me 5% and use up two of my upgrades. I will not be buying any Sonos speakers today.
Hi all. I can't believe I'm the only one frustrated that I can't choose the timing of the timer programming that controls when playback stops. 1 hour or 2 hours....why not 1h40...? especially for the evening. A timer like on a telephone would be so much more flexible to use...Is that really too much to ask of SONOS...? I really don't understand how this could have gone on for so long....I'm counting on the most seasoned to send the request back to the appropriate services. THANK YOU in advance for all of us.
I recently bought a new Samsung QN95B smart TV. I have connected it to my S11 Sonos playbase with the optical cable. I am trying to get the volume on the playbase to work with the new Samsung remote. I’m having no luck. The playbase volume does not seem to work with the Samsung remote. I can only operate sonos volume via sonos app on my phone. Any ideas on how to get Samsung remote to operate volume on sonos playbase?
Hi folks, Happy Sonos user for a few years now. I wanted to give Sonos Radio HD a try a few days ago, and it seems like it’s not available in Israel..Is there an ETA for availability in Israel / roadmap for other countries? I think the app should have prevented me from starting the trial provided it’s not supported in my country, or at least indicated that to me before proceeding. It took me a few support calls to understand that this is the issue..Thanks!
I ordered a Beam (Gen 2) from Sonos Australia on 30 April. Sonos cancelled the order with no explanation given. I called to enquire and was advised that the order was lost due a change in their IT systems. The order was placed again (and a discount given which was nice) and was received on 26 May. Unfortunately it was faulty (didn’t work) so I arranged return. It was received by Sonos on 2 June and they advised that a replacement "should arrive in 1-5 working days". It is now 14 June, and repeated attempts to contact Sonos online and by phone have been unsuccessful. I’ve been on hold on the online ‘Chat With Us’ and on the phone to the call centre for two hours today, but no one is picking up. Anyone else having similar issues contacting Sonos? Should I take this to NSW Fair Trading?
I have 2 connect amps wired to episode outdoor speakers (ES-500-ew-4). I have had 6 speakers blow in the matter of 3 months. Is this an amp issue or a speaker issue?
Hello Team: I know I should look for this anser - but I cannot find it. Here is whjat I have and what I am trying to do. Samsung Q LED TV w/ ONE HDMI ARC portDenon AV receiverSonos AMPUse case: I want to have the TV audio currently set up via my AV receiver (NOT touching SONOS at all) as an audio source for Sonos. I see that there is an HDMI port on the back of the AMP. However, there is only ONE HDMI ARC port on the TV which is currently connected to my AV receiver. Am i able to get a splitter such that the TV audio goes properly to my AV system (NON SONOS) and ALSO as a source from AMP. I want to listen to tv audio on my deck which speakers are powered by the AMP. Comments and suggestions please (aside from RTFM!) Thanks
I was wondering if someone can help me with an answer I can’t find. I am installing 12 Sonos ports in my home because I have a pre-existing setup with amp and what not. All my amps are sonance amps, so my question is will the Sonos amp control the volume of my amp? I know there is an option for passthrough on the port, but there is not list that I can find that tell me what amps work for volume control on the port.any help would be greatly appreciated.
Currently I have a Bridge and 2 Connects powering 2 different amps directly (wired), one is located downstairs and the other upstairs. Often I group them together to play the same music throughout the house. This has always worked great. To upgrade it seems that I should purchase 2 Ports (doing away with all 3 prior components). My question is can I use my existing wifi for each Port and still group them together without latency or do I need to connect one Port to my modem (over ethernet) and the first amp and set up a Sonos wireless network for the other Port to use and connect it to my second amp? Or is either solution viable? Thanks
Hi, is it possible to connect a turntable with a preamp included to a sonos connect 2nd gen, so I can play wirelessly through my sonos speakers.many thanks
Is it possible to pair the sonos ray tv speaker with ikea symfonisk picture frame ?
Hello...I’ve searched the library but have yet to confirm that Sonos Ones can be used with a Windows 11 Dell desktop. Could someone let me know if this is a seamless solution for music listening via my desktop?Much appreciated!
@Sonos Is it possible to put Favorites in the Music source of Alarms? Now we have to search the whole list for our favorite Sonos station and sometimes I search by station, so I don't know where to look for it in genre / country / ....
This will be long because I’ve seen others ask this question and no one answered it except to tell them how they should have wifi. I have Sonos one Gen 1 speakers. I have internet. I’ve downloaded the SONOS S2 app on my computer. It has 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD hard drive.I do NOT have subscribe to wifi because it’s an additional $39.99/mo with my ISP provider. I run everything via Ethernet cables. Is there a way to hook up these speakers WITH OUT WiFi? I have Ethernet cables connected to them all and each one has a dedicated spot in the the racks, but when I try to use the app it says “WiFi isn’t connected.” I have plenty of internet going into the computers, which is how I’m typing this… I just don’t have nor do I want WiFi. All the computers connected via Ethernet work. All the security camera connected via Ethernet work. All the everything connected via Ethernet is working… EXCEPT these speakers. How do I make this app work so the speakers will work?
Hello Newbie here,I have recently been purchasing Sonos speakers to create a home cinema sound systemThis is what I have so far 1 pair of One SL’sSub Gen 3 Arc LG OLED TV (with eARC socket)Android Sonos app The Arc was the most recent purchase, which seems to have changed the app to S2 (whatever that is)How do I get all the speakers in a single group, so that they all play together from whatever is being played on the TV. TIA Dave
Hello! I'm in the midst of a new home build and I'm trying to figure out what would be the best path forward for rear surround speakers in the room where my main TV will be set up. It's not ideally shaped, unfortunately.Right now I have a Sonos Arc, but I'm not sure if it would be best to pair this with two speakers like One SLs on speaker stands set up behind the couch, or if it would make more sense to do a set of in-ceiling or in-wall speakers. If I did in-wall speakers, the back right would be further back than the back-left.Any recommendations on what may work best in this space? Thanks!
I have a Sonos Arc standalone with no other speakers or subs. I am almost tearing my hair out trying to solve the below conundrum for hours now.My PS5 is connected to the HDMI 3 port on my LG CX. My Sonos Arc is connected to the LG CX through HDMI 2 (eArc port). On my TV sound settings, I have enabled eArc. Digital sound-out is "pass-through". In HDMI Input Audio format, both HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 are set to PCM.On my PS5, I have set "AV Amplifier----> 5.1 channel----> SOund output: Linear PCM".Despite the above setting, the Sonos app is telling me its outputting Multichannel PCM 7.1 indicating I am missing 2 full channels of sound. How do I fix this? I don't want to change the PS5 output to Dolby and HDMI 3 Input in TV settings to Bitstream as I have heard PCM is better than Dolby for gaming. Can someone please help with this? What settings should I change to output 5.1 on my sound bar?
Ha Ha Ha, the fomo pressure has caused me to throw caution to the wind.
Is Sonos having issue with their stock or order processing?I have ordered soundbar for delivery today and still hasn’t got picked by the delivery company, customer service hasn’t got a clue when the item will be packaged and shipped. I was expecting a better service for company. Regards,Luke
I have several Spotify playlists. The largest one has 4,000 songs. When I try to play that playlist via the Sonos app, I get “Unable to add songs to Queue”. This happens in both the mobile app on my iPhone and the Desktop app on my PC.I am able play a Spotify playlist from the same account that has 775 songs in it.What is the maximum number of tracks I can have in a Spotify playlist if I want to play it via the Sonos app?
I’ve started a move to Sonos with a Beam Gen 2 for the family room. I think I’m about to find myself on a slippery slope 😃Next room is our lounge. I have a new 55 inch LG C1 TV which is connected to my Yamaha AV receiver through eARC. The Yamaha is wired to 2 tower speakers for the fronts and 2 bookshelf speakers for the rears. The Yamaha produces an excellent centre phantom and I don’t need a sub.I’m looking to replace the Yamaha with a Sonos Amp, which will be wired to the two tower fronts. For the rears I’m torn between a second Amp wired to my existing bookshelf speakers, or to get 2 One’s. Access to power is not an issue for either option.Has anyone grappled with this decision and which way did you go and why? Also, is there anything else I need to be aware of with all of my proposed changes? Some questions that come to mind:dos the Amp produce a strong phantom centre channel? can the volume be set independantly for the fronts and the rears, so I can balance the front/back volume
Since a couple of days my TV remote can’t control the Playbar volume anymore. Nothing changed in the setup, it just stopped working.when trying to “setup remote” I’m getting the error that the remote isn’t recognised. On the TV I’m getting a Sonos + and - icon, but the volume doesn’t change (see picture). The remote is a Samsung remote (see picture).Any help would be great. No clue what has happened.thanks in advance Marijnp
This a feature that was once requested in this topic and I’d like to bring it up again as it is also something that would greatly improve the app.Essentially when using the Android app and you browse albums on a UPnP server you can only queue 1 track at a time instead of the entire album. There is no other way to queue an album without adding tracks one by one to the queue. There is no malfunction and this is just a feature request.
Hi, I have a Deezer Family Premium account but I can no longer select which account of the family I want to use. It only shows me the main one while some time ago choosing which Deezer user account to use was possible. Any idea why this is happening?
