Without a diagnostic number, it will be hard for a Sonos rep to help you. However, the chimes will play if, at the moment the alarm goes off, your speaker is unable to reach the steaming station indicated. Most often this would be due to some wifi interference , but also possible could be some duplicate IP address issues.
