More random software issues…. I have had a Move for 2 days. First day it was fine, added to my network, etc worked great.Today I moved it outside with me (well within wifi range, the router is just on the other side of a window) and it worked fine until I pressed Pause and went away for a few hours. Now I cannot get it to work at all. The Sonos app shows its connected and playing music but no sound comes out.I’ve got a solid white light and if press Play on the Move itself, it blink white for a bit and then back to solid white, still without any music. What do I do?
Hi Alli have a Samsung Q9 (2019) connected via HDMI to my Beam 2. This set up has worked previously and only recently stopped working. I made no changes to the settings and the Samsung Q9 is on the latest firmware (version 1325). Anynet+ is activated. My Sonos app indicates that there is Sound transmitted to the Beam2 but no sound is heard despite repeated efforts to increase/decrease the volume. I have unplugged the Beam 2 and Samsung TV and removed and replaced the HDMI to no avail. I have not taken the Samsung TV back to factory defaults yet. Any suggestions ?
I pre-ordered the Sonos Ray on June 3rd. I received the wall mount but the order for the Ray still states it's pending since the June 7 release date. I contacted Sonos.. the rep said I should have it by July 8 due to the volume of orders. Is anyone having the same issue?
My guess is no, but the Sonos support article is not clear. At https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3222?language=en_US, it says: “Trueplay tuning is supported by all Sonos products except Port, Connect, and Roam SL.”The article also specifically mentions Amp and Connect:Amp as specifically supporting TruePlay (under certain conditions).I kind of doubt the ZP80 and ZP100 have any magical TruePlay powers that their later iterations don't. The possibilities seem to be:ZP80 and ZP100 do not support TruePlay at all. ZP100 supports TruePlay in the same specific configurations that Amp and Connect:Amp do. ZP80, like Connect and Port, does not support TruePlay. ZP80 and ZP100 do, in fact, support TruePlay, without qualifications. (Seems very unlikely, but it’s what the language of the article implies.)(The article also does not make clear whether TruePlay is supported by both generations of Connect:Amp, or only Gen 2, another issue it would be nice to have clarity regarding.)Can anyone shed any
Hi, I have a play:5 in the kitchen, a IKEA Symphonic in the hallway and one in the bedroom. In the living room I have a surround system with a Arc and 2 One SL.When I play music, it seems like I cannot use the surround system speaker (arc + 2 One)..Is that by default, just as they show up in a group as TV?Really sad if I cannot use the One speakers when playing music..
Hello Community. I need some help with what is hopefully a basic situation, but has confounded me for the past few weeks despite multiple searches and deep contemplation. I’m seeking know-how for the best way to connect an Apple TV 4K, a Samsung Frame TV 2022, a Sonos Amp wired to two in-ceiling speakers, and wirelessly connected to a Sonos Sub. Currently the Apple TV is connected to the Samsung One Connect Box via HDMI. Do I now need to connect the One Connect Box to the Sonos Amp? And if so, with what type of cable? I purchased a Sonos Optical Audio to HDMI adapter - is that what I use to connect the Box to the Amp, and then tune some settings in the Apple TV and/or the Frame TV? Thank you in advance for the help with this fun project!
SORRY - FOUND MY WAY TO THE RIGHT BROWSE AREA. But still haven’t found a way to search. I used to be able to search for radio stations on TuneIn in Sonos. Haven’t used it for a while; now, there is no search bar. There are only different categories to browse, but they do not have all the TuneIn stations. I have Franceinfo in my favorite radio stations, but it is not to be found in any of the browse sections. If I removed, I wouldn’t be able to get it back. What gives?
Hi there, I recently purchased a Sonos One for my girlfriend as she had a rubbish TV (without Bluetooth) and terrible sound. however, it is not working well as a solution as I have to connect the sonos to the Apple TV via BT, and it is not a permanent connection, meaning that I have to select it as the audio source on the Apple TV everytime and controlling the volume with the ATV remote only works once the airplay connection is established. how can I get a permanent/seemless experience without having to buy her a BT tv?
Hello everyone, so I have a question, we have Sonos amps setup around our house, and we recently got an Orbi mesh system to put throughout our house, and I’m wondering if there’s anyway I can setup the amps to work on the new network while still being able to do it via Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi, it’s currently setup to work via Ethernet but it only works when I’m connected to my main Wi-Fi, I was wondering if there way anyway i would be able to forward them or something, the Sonos amps are plugged into a switch and the switch is plugged into the main router
I have a Tivo bolt, and LG TV, and the Sonos arc. In my old setup, I ran the HDMI cord from the bolt to the HDMI port 1 and then use an audio cord to run from the TV to my sound bar. How do you set it up with the arc? If I run the arc to HDMI port 2, it won't play the sound coming out of the tivo port. There doesn't appear to be a place for one of the optical audio cords…Thanks!
Please add an optional compact view for the music services page. The page listing tracks from a service wastes so much space. The excessive padding is good for touch, but you can only see a small number of tracks before scrolling. Consider a very dense list as an optional view. Scrolling around looking for a track is not a good experience.
Spent 2k on an arc, 2 surround and the bass and the lag is so bad i have to set it to pcm stereo. Wasre of money time and aggravation!
For a very long time now the Sonos playlists keep disappearing from the My Sonos page so I am unable to play them - when will this issue be fixed?
I’ve had my sonos gear for about a year and had virtually zero problems with the app. Until the last week or two when I’ve had constant issues. System not found, music services not found. A reboot of the phone usually fixes it. Phone is a Galaxy s21. A couple of things changed around that time:I replaced my One rears with Fives and moved the Ones into a bedroom. I got a new wifi 6 router and mesh extender.Today I tried wiring one of the Ones in the bedroom to the router but that doesn’t seem to have improved things. Is this an issue with the latest update or something else? I really don’t want to remove and re-add things because I have a ton of difficulty getting a Trueplay tuning I like.
Purchased a Yamaha turntable and silly me thought it would be just plug and play. It’s a tts303b and I need it to connect to my Sonia Arc which is connected to my LG Tv. Any help please?
So I got a second Roam to enjoy the stereo greatness. Both are online and connected, paired in stereo. Only 1 speaker will play music at a time. If I turn off the speaker that works the other one suddenly works again. When they are both on the working speaker is playing in stereo but the other is silent. I have reset the speakers twice now, reset the router a few times, Uninstaller and reinstalled the app. I am wits end and completely bummed put with all of this. I worked for a bit and was amazing.... now not so much
I renovated my house, And I have 3 big 70"+ TVs, two inside the house, and a Samsung Terrace outside by the pool. For the soccer world cup, any other sports event, or even movie night, I would like to have all TV playing the same video signal at the same time. As for audio, I purchased and will get installed soon Sonos speakers indoor and outdoor (Arc + 2 rear 1SL on the two indoor TVs +1 sub, just 2 outdoor speakers for outdoor TV), so I think I should be able to pick any TV as the main source and get Sonos to play that audio everywhere, but I guess I can leave each Sonos "home theater" play his own audio from the corresponding TV. In the figure below you see my house plan, with the red dots being the location of the 3 TVs. The The bigger dot is where I would like the "main" TV (or main location), in the sense that I would like either to mirror the signal from that main TV to the other 2 TVs, or I would like to use that as the main location in which I have my laptop sending a movie to
I am wondering if anyone has ever tried using both the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers for surround at the same time using an AMP. I am setting up a new room, and am looking into possible doing both to create a sort of rear surround bubble for my Arc + Sub. TruePlay supports those speakers so it could also do the tuning to adjust for having both. I know we can’t do Atmos and that it would just be a 5.1.2 but curious to see how it would actually sound and work as a rear surround. Anyone ever try?
Every time I group another room I get scared that the volume level in the other room is going to be too loud. I think by default when grouping the volume in the additional room should be reduced to 5 or 10. There is no scenario ever when I add a room that it should immediately blast at a loud volume.
HelloI’ve recently bought a QN800A Neo QLED 8K HDR as its got eARC I decided to upgrade my Play bar to a Arc. Its’ linked up to two Sonos 1’s and sounds amazing when using the apps through the TV. It sounds great when gaming too, last night I was looking at reviews and one guy was on about ready player one as a great test of the Arc’s capabilities so I stuck the Blu-ray in my Xbox series X and realised through the app that it was only playing in multichannel ppm 7.1. Then realised that you have to download the Dolby atoms app and set it up that way. Sounded amazing blah blah… Turned the xbox on today to have a blast on Halo and the sound drops out intermittently, while it’s on it sounds fantastic but keeps dropping out. I’ve got it all set up asTV settings:HDMI-eARC Mode (Auto)Digital output Audio Format (Passthrough)Dolby Atmos Compatibility (On) Xbox settings Display 4K UHD 120 HzSpeaker Audio HDMi Dolby Atmos for home theatre. (Additional options Allow passthrough) Any ideas ho
I just swapped out my playbase with an Arc. It sounds great, but I am trying to get it to play Dolby Atmos content. I have a 2017 LG OLED B7 TV that has an ARC output (not eARc). I have found a few streaming sources with Dolby Atmos content, but it will only play through the TV speakers (when switches to internal speaker). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is there any benefit at all in accessing Apple Music via the Sonos app, when I can stream directly to my Sonos Speaker from Apple Music?
Hi All. Having played with the new deezer on the Sonia app what do people think about it. It seems to be missing one of the best bits it had before the most streamed albums any idea how we can get this back ?
Currently i have a sub, 2 play one’s and a playbar setup as my home cinema surround setWill it have any added value to replace the playbar with a ray…. Or would this be downgrading? Thanks upfront for your advice
The Sonos App displays an album in the wrong order. iTunes displays the album in the correct order. I have deleted the album and reinstalled into iTunes library with the same results. Help appreciated.
