I just got my Sonos and it cuts out after a minute of playing, is it a blue tooth wireless speaker or does it need an Ethernet cable?
All speakers visible and selectable, but I get the message, “unable to connect please try again later” for some speakers.
Can I use my sonos on Bluetooth, ie no Ethernet connection?
Hi allI have a multiroom system consisting of;Family Room: Arc connected via ethernet to network and via HDMI to Samsung TV. Also 2 x Symfonisk connected via WiFi acting as rearsKitchen: 2 x Symfonisk connected via WiFi acting as stereo pairLiving Room: 2 x Symfonisk connected via WiFi acting as stereo pairAll of these speakers are linked to Google Assistant accessible via Nest Hubs & speakers. I do not have Google Assistant enabled on the Sonos Arc.The Family Room is exclusively used as surround sound for the Samsung TVI usually control the other rooms via Google voice control (eg, "Hey Google play my rock playing on Kitchen"). This works fine and I can easily skip tracks, pause, stop and control volume via voice commands. If I wish to search for something specific I can bring up the Sonos app on my phone (Samsung S22 Ultra) or tablet (Samsung Tab S5E), whichever is closest to hand. For the past few months, my S22 is unable to find my Sonos system, and it appears greyed out in the
Bonjour pourriez vous m’indiquer où puis je faire réparer une sonos five?merci
Cannot connect Play1 speakers to Wifi after upgrading internet service to Spectrum Wifi6. Have replaced Spectrum supplied SAX1V1S router. Can only connect via ethernet cable but router and speakers are used in different locations and I do not want to have one wired speaker. I already have wired speakers; Sonos are for different locations using Wifi. They are worthless to me if they are not wireless. Grazie.
Can you take the move on a plane in your hand luggage?
Current set up is a two 1st gen One speakers, a gen one sound bar and a 2nd gen One speaker. Of these speakers the soundbar and one of the 1st gen One speakers get used daily the other 1st gen and 2nd gen One speakers get occasional use. The problem I have is that more often than not when I fire up the app the 2nd gen speaker will be missing from the app and I’ll have to reboot the speaker and app, sometimes multiple times before it reappears. If it’s missing and I try and re-add it via the setup it will start the process but just time out. Once it is added it works absolutely fine for however long we use it. It’s left on permanently. Wi-Fi setup does have range extenders however apart from warnings that this may cause playback issue when streaming through multiple speakers this has never caused any issues. Warning pops up but playback works perfectly across whatever speakers are selected so feels unlikely to be the issue.
Hi, I have a Beam & 2 new Fives, all work fine separately and the fives work as a pair fine, but when I group them with the Beam they don't seem to sync up correctly 🤷 any ideas?Update, it seems to be fine when I group them when playing Spotify just when I group them to watch the TV there's an issue.
Hello,I have a Play 5 Gen 1 that stopped working. I called Sonos support and after diagnostics they sent me an RMA number for a return for a discount code. All of my other Sonos components are Gen 1, so I would like to purchase another refurbished Play 5 Gen 1, but I don't see one offered on Sonos.com. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks,Randy
Hello, I have noted for several months that our 2 Sonos One speakers suddenly stop playing, often after just a few mintues but sometimes after an hour or more of streaming. Then I cannot find them in either the Sonos app or the Spotify App. At that point, I unplug one of the speakers, and sometimes I turn the wifi off and back on, and in a few minutes I can see the speaker pair again in both apps. But often they stop again shortly after that. I do not have that issue with the other 3 Sonos Play speakers I have. We do routinely turn our wifi off at night and back on in the morning - that may aggravate the problem. The speakers are about 15-20 feet from our ATT router and I think the signal is strong in the kitchen. Any thoughts or solutions? Thank you for any ideas or next steps.
The app continues to tell my the two new Sonos one speakers I have set up (which are blinking green) that there is a wifi issue, but my other two Sonos one speakers connect just fine? (I have two already in my system, adding two more.)
This is driving me mad. Why can’t I just join my new home wifi? I’ve gone through all the steps, and it tells me I’m unable to join. Please help anybody? I don’t have BT as i have read in a previous thread, I have a new Virgin wifi package, and my old broadband was Virgin too...
I have 2 Sonos Play 1 wireless speakers. Sometimes they will work and sometimes not. Yesterday I was told by a sonos tech support that the problem is my 5g internet. Their remedy is to go back to 2.4 g internet. A chat line rep tells me it will work with 5g. Going back to 2.4 is not practical. Anyone have a similar issue.. Background, had for about 5years, started to have problems 1 1/2 years ago, upgraded to 5g ,worked well for over a year, now back to same issue. Sonos support not helpful.
Hey Folks, Sonos Newbie here. I have my living room set up with an Arc, two 1s and a sub. I later bought a Play 5 and set it up to play separately on my patio. So I currently have: Living Room & Deck Speaker displaying separately in the App. I’d like to add the Play 5 to my Living Room to be able to play the same music simultaneously in the Living Room and on the patio but still be able to use the 5 by itself when I want. Any direction would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance for your help 😊👊🏽

I have been trying to create folders for Favorited radio stations as most services have but cannot find it in Sonos.I have seen this question being asked for years and Sonos replying they will look into a solution for it. Any upates on this onging issue? It doesn’t seem that big of an ask.
I have listened to The Sound Radio Station on Sonos via Radio.net for a year or so but whilst the station is still visible it now won't play . However , going to the Radio.net website on a computer I can play the The Sound . Assuming it's something between Radio.net and Sonos but other stations still play as usual. Any ideas please ?
I have a pair of Era100’s in a stereo pair, playing music works to them without any issues. I also have a recently purchased LG C3 TV Set, which has a standard 3.5mm analog audio output which I have connected to one of the era100s via line in. This works but there is intermittent drop in/out periodically in the right channel/era100. I had a call with Sonos Support and they told me the line in on the era100’s does not support TVs only cd players or turntables. This seemed like an odd answer to me why should the analogue audio output from a TV be any different to a CD player or turntable? If this is indeed true what are my options to get the TV audio into the Sonos speakers. The main reason I actually want tv audio into Sonos is there is an xbox series x connected to the TV.Is my only option here to buy a soundar and then use the era100’s as surrounds? If that's the case can I get away with the ray connected to the optical port on the tv? Will this banish the issues I’m having with the rig
I recently upgraded and bought various speakers including ERA 300s, ERA 100s, ARC, Sub Woofer and an existing One.I thought I would set up one of the ERA 300s first and which I got working then I had problems with my router which is a Huawei Model H112-370, this is a 5G router which I use as my phone line based internet is very slow. Due to the problems with the 5G Router I swapped it for another 5G router which was sent to me my 5G internet provider 3 mobile. The new router is a Huawei MC801A 5G router. I also set up a new Sonos account to keep completely separate from my Sonos Gen 1 equipment. I got it all working then it failed so after speaking with Sonos Support, I decided to start from the beginning. After a few support calls I am getting fed up as I have not been able use my Sonos equipment for over a week as I cannot get it set up. It seems that the app carries out the whole process and it falls at the final hurdle of linking to my Sonos account. I have read similar
i have 3 symfonisk speakers in my house and none will sync to app. the s1 app will not find them and the older app cant find my music library. is there a way to just start from scratch? like i just purchased all 3 speakers and are setting up new??
I watch tv through my Apple TV and sound through Sonos Playbar. Getting an echo sound from the Playbar in all modes (AppleTV, YouTubeTV, and other streaming services). Never had this issue before and nothing has changed in my settings. I’ve tried many things and even called Sonos Support as well as Apple. No resolution.
I have a Dell monitor for my home office, with no in-built speakers, for which I recently added a Chromecast 4k with Google TV. Is it possible to cast the audio generated by Google TV, or apps such as You Tube or Netflix, to my Sonos One SL’s? Is there any other means of achieving this audio connectivity via Google Home or Google Assistant on my Android phone?
