Interesting issue this morning.... I was about to leave the house and used the Sonos voice assistant to ask the Sonos roam to stop playing music. Got the error beep and it kept playing, asked again and got the voice response of no music is playing. Hey everybody, I purchased the Era 300 a few days ago and I absolutely love it, except for one thing that is driving me nuts: I listen to bass heavy music and it seems the case is vibrating quite often when I’m playing music. This is one of my most hated things as it just ruins the sound, even though I found the sound from the Era 300 to be excellent. This one thing is ruining the speaker for me and I want to know if this is common with this speaker, or if something in the build quality might be off and I need a replacement. I have it sitting on a turntable stand if that helps at all. If I put my hand on top of the speaker, the vibrating stops so I know the speakers themselves are fine. Anybody have any solutions? I appreciate the help!

Hi I have a beam 2 and was looking to add 2 Sonos ones to it but every time I try to add them it can’t finalise the last step called Sonos they changed router settings but can’t help anyone had this issue ?

My Arc keeps intermittently dropping Spotify signal, it works fine with TV signal. Google wifi pucks nearby with great speed and connection.I had two Ones as surrounds with the Arc and when they were configured together all three would drop out. I disconnected them from the Arc and the Ones work fine, no dropping.The Arc continues to drop Spotify audio.Grabbed a diagnostic code **********Halp please Moderator edit: diagnostic number recorded and removed (identifying information)

In my iOS Sonos app, my speakers come and go on the system. Sometimes they are all there then one hour later only one is showing on the system. Why is that? I am tired of rebooting my modem and router, which is what i have to do to fix the problem.  It is very frustrating.

Why is my TV sound so much lower than the music. I have Apple TV connected via HDMI to the arc. I also lose the connection when I first open. Doesn’t seem consistent in surroundsound. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sonos one SL has stopped working, purchased Dec 2022. Troubleshooted by using power cord from the other working One SL and still no power. Was waiting on the 300's for now but was hoping help on this SL for now.

Play 3 won’t register to my network. It is connected by Ethernet cable

I have a running system with two One and one Move. Now I bought an era 300 and tried to configure it to my system. It works until I need to press the two buttons after syncing my mic to the sound of the box. Unfortunately it says something went wrong and I need to register the box to my account, or I need to download the updates (which also do not work) and I can press „correct“ to retry. I don’t know why it doesn’t work with this single player. Maybe something with the new updated app?Im looking forward for your help. Thanks :) Felix

After the app update I was having issues with my system just not working at all. I ended up factory resetting my Play 1. Now the rest of my system is working fine, but when I try and add my Play 1, it isn’t able to find it.

I am trying to connect the play 1 speaker but its not easy. i thought i got it but it told me to update. i am updating and it says “this will take several minutes” but it has been almost an hour.

Hi updated the app today and it has lost both my devices Play 3 and Boost.can you help Tony

I’m hitting so many issues it’s tough to identify which path was the closest to success.I have spent several hours with chat agents, who gave up and told me to call in. I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes… and then the call dropped. I’m back on hold again. Super unhappy with how complex Sonos has made this setup….For example, case 1On a fresh install, SOMETIMEs I can get the speaker connected to my Wi-Fi, but the Sonos app (not the S1 app) gets stuck adding the Speaker to a room. The app just hangs on this screen. If I hard close the app, despite the speaker having a solid White LED… I can’t see it being connected anywhere in the app… so I have to start the install againCase 2often on installs the Wi-Fi won’t connect propoerly. If I hard wire, I then see a message “Software update required”. When I try and do that it says I need top Sign in as the System owner I bought these speakers used… is it possible they are still associated with a past user? Any other ideas as to why I’m seeing this

I brought my 2 play 1 and play bar to my new house with a new bell sagemcom 5689e router and bought 3 era 100 to complete the set now, every time I loose power ( which happens weekly here ) my system doesn’t reconnect ive wired one play 1 to the router and it reconnects after a reboot the older models but not the Era 100ive spent countless hours on the phone with Sonos and nothing to do contacted Bell and they don’t want to change my router I cannot factory reset my eras every week , it doesn’t make sense !  any advices or tricks ?

I run a split S1 / S2 setup primarily as I have found that a stereo Play:3 pair runs much more smoothly on S2. I have a Move and Amp on S2 with no issues. This morning I went to play my Play:3 pair and the S1 App window defaulted to direct me to the S2 app. I contacted chat and Alex advised that the Play:3 pair were on the S2 app. Strange I thought as I had not elected to upgrade.It seems after two attempts to downgrade the Play:3 to S1 they auto update to S2 without any user interaction.The stereo pair are running on S2 and will just have to see how it goes as they have in the past they started getting laggy and that is both wired and wireless.It would seem that some update has been pushed out and auto updating anything on S1.Now: Version: 16.1.1 (build 78152020)  

My setup: Arc, 2 subs, 2 ERA 300s as surrounds. One of my ERAs is making a buzzing vibration-like noise when there is a lot of bass. Lorde’s “Royals” is case in point. The ERAs are on stands but they are tight and that doesn’t seem to be causing the issue. Have had this setup since the 300s were released and never had this type of issue. I also don’t stress the system so it shouldn’t be related to a blown speaker, etc. Just thought I’d try here before looking at warranty service. Thx.

I I have 2 Symfonisk amp Any chance to play music by bluetooth 

I have a rather large Sonos system hooked up in a smaller NYC apartment. The apartment is broken into about 4 smaller bedrooms however there are speakers dispersed throughout the entire setup. Several Sonos ones, 100s, 300s, 3 subs, an arc, bookshelf speakers and a boost. The speakers play subpar using Airplay, often dropping or not connecting at all. I then use the Sonos app to stream Apple Music and while it’s better it still has connectivity problems at times. It’s disappointing because I would like to use my HomePods in tandem with the system taking advantage of Siri and even a more dispersed sound. I’m frustrated because I invested thousands of dollars into the system and it does not play as intended and to make it worst I keep trying alternate options like purchasing extenders, upgrading the router, etc. Switched out most of the existing HomePods to Sonos thinking that would resolve the problem because I felt Sonos didn’t not play well with HomePods. It didn’t.  Anyone else havin

I want to get a Five, but I need to be able to mount it to a wooden ceiling beam. Basically, I can install screws straight upwards, but will still have the Five angled as though it’s on a traditional wall mount (as opposed to facing straight down from the ceiling). Is there a mount that will let me do this?

Hello,I just purchased the 8” In-Ceiling Set and the 8” In-Ceiling Speakers by Sonos and Sonance (Pair). The basement room that I purchased it for is an open room that is approximately 30ft by 13ft. I plan to have all 4 of the speakers installed in this room, questions:Is 4x 8in Sonos speakers too must for this room size? Am I ok to use 12 gauge speaker wire? Any other advise would be greatly appreciated?Thank You

I purchased an Era 100 from a big chain electronic store in April. The box was factory sealed when I picked it upThen I sold this factory sealed box to someone on  May 5th (Note that i have never opened this box). Few hours later this person contacted me back and told me the unit in the box is a used One Gen2. I can think of 2 possibilties:#1: Someone at the electronic store swapped it before I bought it;#2: The person who bought from me is not telling the truth.So I'm just wondering if there is a way to check when this unit was activated. "I have a Sonos Era 300 speaker installed on a shelf 50 cm from the ceiling; following Sonos recommendations, I placed it upside down; however, the speaker no longer responds to voice control; does it mean that the microphone is out of reach when the device is upside down ?

We have a Sonos system set up in our house and it works great. I am trying to set up a new system in our motorhome on a different wifi system (Starlink) and am unable to figure out how to do this. I do not want the motorhome system on our house wifi as we travel, hence the Starlink. How do I do this?
