Cannot group Roam with Five after app update

I used to stream Bluetooth music via a roam grouped with a five. 

Since the update of the Android Sonos app, adding the five to the Roam does not work and gives an error message about not being able to connect. 

Butt I can play music on both devices via wifi.

The devices are on the same wifi network. 

 

Any suggestion how to fix this?

I am having the exact same problem connecting my roam to a group, they no longer connect together 


Same thing here, roam won’t group with arc, move or 1s.  The others all still work together.  This is all using only the wifi network only btw no Bluetooth

Same problem here. I can’t get my newly purchased roam to add to my existing system. I keep getting an error message to try another mobile device but at this point I have tried three other phones and I still can’t connect the room. I was on hold for two hours. Spoke with a customer service rep when assisted I had to hang up while I fix it and he would call me back and he never did. Beyond frustrating. I’m just about ready to return the roam!

I have the same problem. Use my roam to bridge sound from my bluetooth vinyl player to the rest of the system.

This was a key feature for me choosing Sonos. This new app is having so many problems!

The solution that I have seen working is updating the Roam. Most probably this has to be done manually by checking the Gear item System Updates … 

After that, I could link the Roam.


I have the same problem, this is Version: 16.2 (build 79052294)
