Hello, I'm try to pipe the sound from a movie being played through my a Amazon Fire TV to a Sonos One speaker. Is this possible? Thanks!!
My Sonos one does not show up after I unplugged and plugged back in
At my wits end. My play 1s constantly cut out and skip tracks. Often it looks like it’s playing but there is no sound. Driving me around the bend. Diagnostic number 1834713746. I also have a Sonos Boost which is making no difference whatsoever.
I have been reading views about placing Play:1 speakers in the bathroom and the problems with regulations relating to electrical products in bathrooms. What about having a rechargeable battery operated play one speaker instead? This could also be used outside but near to your wifi.
I have 8 Sonos speakers in 5 different rooms in my house, and they have always worked flawlessly. Yesterday I noticed that one of the set of two stereo Play:1 speakers in our bathroom is completely dead. I tried using two other different cables, and I tried it in a different socket, but the speaker is absolutely dead. The white LED doesn't even light up. It's more than 4 years old, so it's definitely outside of the standard 2-year warranty. I'm really disappointed that it's failed completely after less than 5 years, having spent £180 on each of my Play:1 speakers. Does anybody know whether it's worth trying to get it repaired? Is it even possible to get these Play:1 speakers repaired?
My Play 5 just unexpectedly stopped showing up in my app/controller. The rest of my sonos speakers are fine. The light is white, but when i press it, it flashes orange. I've unplugged a few times. Tried the factory reset, but it never flashes white/amber... Also tried to install as a new speaker but it doesn't show up. Haven't changed the wifi network or moved it. I've sent diagnostics to Sonos. Confirmation number is 1177807965. This is the first time i've had an issue with any of my sonos gear, so not even really sure how i get a response from them?
I've had my Sonos Playbase for almost a year and have never had any issues with it. However, recently, it has stopped connecting to my wifi. My wireless router is an Asus RT-AC3200 and I have not changed my wireless settings. Other devices in the house connect just fine. I've physically plugged the Playbase into my router and attempted to go through the wireless setup screen again, but each time it says that it can't connect to the wireless network. I've even reset the Playbase to factory defaults and went through the setup process again, and still it won't connect to my wireless network, sitting just a few feet from it.
I've noticed that when casting to my Sonos One via Airplay 2 from my MacBook Pro, I don't have any noticeable delay when playing YouTube or Plex from Chrome, but I do have a delay using other apps such as Plex Media Player or Kodi. What's special about Chrome?
I have had a playbase for a year and used it in conjunction with two Play 3's and three Play 1's throughout the home, during the week the TV stopped working through it. The TV icon is no longer visible within the app. Today I tried to add the playbase to my sonos again but there is no chime when pressing the join button as done in the original set up, I then searched My Sonos on the app and all speakers were present bar the playbase, when I went upstairs and disconnected the play 1 in bedroom and rechecked the app it was still present bar IP address. I do find the fact that the playbase has no led light to indicate a power supply is present frustrating though the red led in the optical lead is on.

Hi, Have a couple of issues i need help with. Firstly, have recently setup my Sonos Play:3 and having connectivity issues. The music stops and jumps and the app is very unresponsive and seems at times, to have a mind of its own. And secondly, when connecting with Spotify the shuffle of my playlist which has around 1300 songs is completely broken which doesn't happen when not connected to Sonos. For instance if i play a song by an artist beginning with C it will only play songs by the surrounding artists - so those also beginning with C as well as B and D so doesn't reach very much of my playlist. This is very repetitive and infuriating. Any suggestions? Thanks
How can I connect my onkyo tx-sr504 sonos sound system so everything that is an input to my Onkyo can be listened (such as my TV, iPod, Apple TV, radio, etc)
I know this topic has been raised before but I am having problems with my Sonos set up. I have a Cocktail X10 with all my old CDs loaded on it in WAV format and connected to my router through a pair of Line Feed Adapters (TP Link AV1200 3-port 1200Mbps). The other end of the line feed adapters is plugged directly into the router. I also have a Sonos Boost, again plugged directly into the router. When I try to play music from the Cocktail X10 I get the "network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer" message on my phone. Can anyone please explain how the network speed can be an issue, as to my mind I am not using the wireless network. The Sonos Boost is doing the job of carrying the signal from the router to the speakers and the line feed adapters are carrying the signal from the Cocktail X10 to the router. I know that the line feed adapters are doing their job because I have the TV plugged into one of the ports and that works for streaming catch up TV ov
Hello, I have been using 2 x Sonos Play 1 (1 Kitchen, 1 Bathroom) and 1 Sonos Connect for years, but since a couple of weeks, the Play 1 are not recognized anymore. Both Play 1 are connected wireless (Through SonosNet) and Play Connect is connected through ethernet cable to my router. I have already tried to connect them again : pairing was difficult to set up but after many tries, it was ok for both Play 1 After paring was ok => I could use all devices. But while trying one day after, Sonos App (either mobile or PC) do not recognize the SOnos 1 anymore. All apps and Sonos are up to date. Thanks for you help
I have the Bose sound bar and I'm looking to see if any of the Sonos bars (either the beam or playbar) have a line out for, specifically, blue tooth headphones.
Hi, I noticed that the Play: 3 is no longer available in the sonos shop and in several shops I heard that they had to send their stock back to Sonos. What does this mean for people that still have a Play: 3? I didn't see any communication from Sonos about this. Regards, Rob
I have Sonos in every room as well as stereo in garage and she'd. Because of plug locations these is no aesthetically pleasing way to set one in our powder room. Any ideas on how to accomplish? TY
how do i open sonos sub to repair it
I am considering another play 5 to pair for stereo. If I use a bluetooth transmitter as line in in one of the 5's, will the music output be in stereo. Only asking cos my kids think sonos is rubbish cos no bluetooth.
I recently purchased a Sonos Connect S15 and while it worked for a short amount of time, it is now stuck in an inoperable state where the white light on the font of the unit and the Ethernet jacks on the back continuously blink. I can no longer find my Connect on my Sonos app and therefore cannot submit a diagnostic report. I tried to reset the unit (unplug and replug and hold down the play button) and I’ve tried simply holding down the play button as well, but none of the troubleshooting tips I’ve seen have worked. Please help!
High pitch sounds still lingers for a good ten minutes even after the unit is no longer playing. This unit is a few years old. The Play 1s do not emit this noise.
Just purchased the beam. I have a Samsung TV. At times, am having volume fluctuations. I just got off the phone with customer support and they think it may be the set top box (that I got from Comcast). Am not a techie. But does this seem correct? At this point, not sure if I should just return the unit. Anyone else having this issue?
Why dont you create a built-in speaker for ceiling? would be easy to install in shops
New colours for the Sonos One speaker are coming later this year. https://www.macrumors.com/2018/04/17/new-colors-sonos-one/
