AirPlay delay
I've noticed that when casting to my Sonos One via Airplay 2 from my MacBook Pro, I don't have any noticeable delay when playing YouTube or Plex from Chrome, but I do have a delay using other apps such as Plex Media Player or Kodi. What's special about Chrome?

Since the Sonos wouldn't have any idea where the signal is coming from, I'm going to suggest it is something.within the software in Chrome running on your MacBook Pro. Perhaps you might direct your question to Google on a forum about Chrome?
