Should I leave my Sonos Move on the charging ring permanently, or will this damage the battery?
I have installed a tp-link deco S4 mesh network and have now lost connection to my three Sonos speakers. I’ve connected one of the speakers via Ethernet to the main S4 unit which is connected to the router. getting a wee bit vexed/stressed. Wifi is excellent throughout house now and was hoping for a simple reconnect for the Sonos speakers. Are there any not too techie ways of resolving this? I’ve seen a couple of threads which make some quantum leaps in assumed capabilities of the reader..
Got the full Sonos home theater (Arc, Sub, One’s) but...have a potential problem with the Sub. I have two VERY inquisitive and playful cats...who are starting to play in the Sub’s hole--I’m scared they are going to put a hole in or rip the speakers. Are there any kind of grill coverings I can get for the sub, or other ideas, to keep their paws out of the insides? Thanks
I have a Sonos Beam in my bedroom and for some reason it won't show on my Android device (despite signing out and rebooting the app) however on my IOS device i can see the beam and set it playing. It still isn't visible whilst playing on my android controller.
Hello everyone, for the past few months I’ve been successfully using my Symfonisk Lamp as an Airplay speaker. But this month the Symfonisk just disappeared from airplay and I can’t seem to get it back in there. I’ve both restarted and resetted the device and the router but nothing seems to work. I can play music via Spotify connect and can play audiobooks via the audible connector in the Sonos app but airplay is essentially gone. I also cannot add the speaker to my HomeKit as it can’t be found there as well.I have also tried connecting it via Lan Cable but that doesn’t solve the issue. What can I do to make it work again? I’m using an IPhone 12 and IPad Pro.
I have DALI Rubicon 2C wireless speakers. I bought a PORT so I could add them to my existing Sonos system. The connection to the speakers is intermittent - typically it drops after a couple of minutes. Are these speakers incompatable (they work fine with everything else!) Thanks
Recently purchased a Sonos Move as “fill” for outdoors to supplement the patio speakers.Over time (30 min plus) I notice that the Sonos gets out of sync (behind). The longer the more behind.Other wireless speakers (apple AX attached to a McIntosh amp and my Denon AVR) don’t fall behind.Suggestions? Thanks
Hi anyone help me understand why my so is play 3 would show my ex as a host , and I’m sure it was used to listen in to my hone ,
I purchased two Moves with the intent of creating a stereo pair of portable speakers. Fine on WiFi. Bluetooth is a whole different story. I should have paid closer attention to the specifications - specifically the FAQ. The whole point of getting two Moves was to take my music outside and on the road where there is no WiFi. I am very disappointed in Sonos at the moment. There is an old guideline in product design/development: if you can’t do something fully and completely to what the average customer will expect, don’t do it until you can.To the Sonos engineers and product management folks: engineering a pair of speakers to work as a stereo pair over bluetooth is very possible and has been accomplished many times. I have a pair of very high quality JBL Flip4s which work nicely in stereo mode while connected to my phone in Bluetooth mode. They do this by pairing the streaming device to one of the speakers and then connecting the two speakers to each other so that the one drives the othe
Hi. I have a playbase and 2x Sonos Ones (surrounds) connected to my TV and I am very happy. I am keen on exploring vinyl and I am looking at a Lenco L-85 which is quite cheap at £115 which also contains a pre amp. What I am wondering is can I use my Sonos Ones as a stereo pair using a Sonos connect without disconnecting from my tv setup.
Hello,I have 2 Sonos Five connected in stereo pair in horizontal position.I have a doubt, If I only turn on one of them, that Sonos Five detects it and works as “fulll stereo” like it isn’t in stereo pair configured?Or continue to work as left or right channel as is configured in the app? Thanks!
Has anyone experimented with making Play 5’s into pendant speakers? Trying to engineer a way to mount them as ceiling pendants in a open truss ceiling. I want to hang them from stainless cables about 5 foot long in a restaurant dining room that has about 16’ ceiling height.
I have 2 Sonos SL1’s that are paired together + a Sonos 5 (2nd gen). For whatever reason the Sonos SL1’s always stay paired to each other but they refuse to stay grouped to the Sonos 5. I have to go into the app and add the SL1s to the already playing music on the Sonos 5. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
S27 has shown up on the FCC web site, with all the good stuff redacted as usual. There is a master and a slave device (I thought we were done with that nomenclature?) that takes a 5V 3A input, and is circular. My guess is WiFi-capable headphones, with a smart base station that acts like any other Sonos device.Details at https://fccid.io/SBVRM027
Hello. I picked up 2 sonos play3. I know they been discontinued. My question is can i use them as monitors when i use my pioneer dj mixer with rca output for booth monitor option . and can i use them as left and right with my sono beam for tv or maybe just left and right for tv without beam or what is the best way to use them? possible as left and right may be even not for tv but just as music listening. Thanks, Igor.
After soon 10 years as a dedicated Sonos fan. I’m really impressed of how useless and bad the new app. Nothing really works now. It did previously. But not any more. All 3 speakers can only play as a group a few times a week. Music comes and goes on all speakers. The app is so extremely slow and hard to use. I’m considering of selling or throwing this junk away. It really must be a system with better performance and ease of use than this.
Looking to get some outdoor speakers on my newly built covered patio and I'm looking at options. I currently do not have any receiver/system of any kind (only using a small Bose blutooth speaker for inside the home). If I'm understanding correctly, Sonos recently released outdoor speakers that are "passive" and require no wires or electrical connections of any kind? And in order to operate those, I will first need to purchase a Sonos Amp? Sounds like a pretty good option to get some good sound both inside and outside my house if I bought the amp, several indoor speakers, and a pair of outdoor speakers? Am I understanding this setup correctly? The only thing I need is Wifi to get this going?
Hi, my speaker fell forward (long story) and landed on a pointy thing and poked a whole through the speaker cover. The important parts a fine and the sound is still okay, although I am pretty sure it has impacted sound quality. I was wondering if there was any way to replace the cover.
Hi, I bought two Sonos Five White from same retailer and S/N are quite identical so same production lote.Has anyone noticed on their Fives the grille portion separating from the main body?Mines are rather slight but I can still notice the gap, especially on the white model. This is probably a production issue because are both exactly the same, grille separation and gap in the same spot.
Are there any possibility to connect Bang Olufsen Wireless (WISA) speakers to my existing SONOS system? I have 4 AMP:s, 2 One. i relly love the B&O speakers and still want to use SONOS
Hi, since receiving my Sonos five I’ve noticed that it drops out intermittently. This happens when I play either Spotify or Sonos radio.
HelloI have just had a very frustrating chat with Sonos support. I have noticed recently that on Bluetooth my Sonos Move is no longer showing battery % (with wifi disconnected etc.) - the battery meter shows but it is blank. Raised this with support who are telling me that this is not a feature and there is no way to look at battery life from bluetooth. I’ve spent 15 minutes trying to convince them that I have used the feature before only to be told that they would be happy to help me connect it to WiFi, see the battery life and then disconnect it again…..Am I going mad? Has the feature been removed?
Hi,Every now and then I do a load of work outside in the garden. The garden has good wifi signal and I'd like to play some music through the Sonos app.I know I could get the connect:amp and a decent set of our door speakers, but I'm working so I frequently that it doesn't justify the cost.Does anyone know if there's some way I could plug a 3.5mm wireless transmitter into my play:5 gen aux and play it through some wireless speakers like that? I've got power outside for the speakers. Thanks
Can’t control volume from the plus minus buttons, re speakers. Frustrating but can control from the slide control. Come on Sonos sort your app please.
