If you seek help, either describe your problem so users can possibly assist, or submit a diagnostic and contact Sonos Support direct.

The vast majority of problems are caused by a local network issue.

If this is it, then discussion can proceed on that thread.

Hi ratty I feel this guy’s pain. I’ve spent two years battling with Sonos’s ‘technical’ department and colleagues be now given up.

There is an active market for Sonos gear on ebay, some moves on Craig’s List too.

If nothing else check ebay past sales to see what you should be asking.

Surely that should be "I spent" not "I have spent".  Six months ago you refused help from the Community,  since when you have specialised in "I feel your pain" posts.

DFTT.

Oh John b you are so clever I really appreciate you taking the time to educate me

I am following @ratty ‘s suggestion.

And yet you hang around the forum, you don’t try to help anyone by offering possible solutions to their problems, and to top it all  you insult and name-call those in the user community that do try to help.

Deleted.  DFTT

I can’t offer solutions as apparently there are none, well that’s what Sonos technical assistance tell me.
anyway who rattled your cage?

To the bolded - Obviously you did.  This is a forum where people come seeking help.  You have refused that help, so why are you here?  Counter to the stated mission of the forum, you do nothing but slag the product, you add nothing to the conversation except negativity over your anecdotal, atypical experience.  Sell it, bin it, throw it out the friggin window, then go get an alternative . . .  and a life.

Will you take a trade for an Apple Homepod?

Thanks to all,  I’m going old school now to an Amp.  IMHO Sonos needs to simplify this system.

WAY too much downtime on this stuff.  6 pieces total,  20 minutes to get the music going to 2 speakers.

I could get you running and keep you running in the future, but you would have to admit it’s your network and not Sonos.  Care to give it a try?

I refused to believe it was my network for far too long.

Learned my lesson (below) and now things are much better.

Just because everything else works and the numbers look good doesn’t mean Sonos will be happy.
