Acabo de adquirir una barra sonos arc ultra y tengo varios dispositivos echo plus y echo dot por casa.El problema es que al poner música en toda la casa no puedo unir la arc ultra al resto de la casa.alguna solución?
I have Sonos Setup at our new Retail place we are working on. There are total 10 speakers (combination of Era 300 + Sonos 5 + Sub + Beam). I have been researching on how to setup for Fire Alarm automation - When Fire Alarm goes off Speakers should mute or stop. We tested killing the internet which does not pass the test as it takes sometime for buffered music to stop. I have been reading about Home Assistant setup but nothing very clear. Wondering if someone has the setup and can advise how did they achieve it?
Hello. Nice to meet you.I am a Japanese doctor and I am planning to open a new clinic this fall. I would like to play Dolby Atmos music in the waiting room. One thing that makes it different from a normal home theater is the spaciousness of the waiting room. The waiting room is approximately 750 square feet (74 square meters). The waiting room also has a unique shape. Here is the diagram: The area surrounded by a red frame is the waiting room. I was considering a configuration of one Arc Ultra and two Era 300s.Is this configuration not enough? If you have any advice on the best configuration please let me know. The music played in the waiting room is mainly designed to resemble forest ambient sounds, so that patients can wait for their appointments in a comfortable space. This is a different environment from a typical home theater, and Sonos does not have any directly operated stores in Japan. I didn't have an environment where I could ask for advice, so I decided to ask this community.
I've read through the discussions here and it upset me that no one provided this easy solution. Listen Not everyone wants to stream FM/AM local broadcasts!!! Some people like myself want a simple TUNER connected to their sonos system so they can QUICKLY go to a local radio station. I had to look around and finally purchased a HD tuner by Sangean, I believe its the model 100. I also had the sonos Amp which I connected the tuner RCA outputs into the Amp. The Amp also has small wired speakers because I use this in my workout room. I get the best of both worlds with this setup! So sonos if they are smart will create a simple TUNER because not everyone wants to stream EVERYTHING!!! Make sense.????
I’ve recently enabled Alexa on my Era 300s, with a view to replacing an existing Echo Show in the same room. I followed all the instructions for adding the skill and the voice service in the Sonos and Alexa apps, but I’m now getting a weird issue. Each time I ask Alexa to do something (change a light colour, close smart blinds, trigger a routine) it says it can’t find the device or routine - but then it does what I’ve asked it to do.Anyone who’s had a bit more experience with this type of integration able to suggest what might be the cause & solution? I’ve seen a few posts about the exact opposite (Alexa saying it’s done something without actually doing it).
When lyrics will be available in somos apps for Spotify ?
I wonder if I can keep my newly bought Roam 2 wired at all times… or for most of the day, or if this practice could affect the battery life. TIA
Hi everyone. I tried to do some digging before posting, but unfortunately everyone’s room dimensions are different so it was hard to gather what is good for me or not. Question:I have a 2 story family room (approx. 20ft high flat ceiling) with a ceiling fan in the middle of the ceiling. The rest of the room is appropriate 14ft long x 12ft wide (couch would be placed approx 12-13ft from the Arc). I have a fireplace mantle that I would ideally place the Sonos arc ultra, at approx. a 4ft height, and it would be pretty dead center in the room on the back wall. Because of the high ceiling height, is the Arc largely going to lose a lot of its effectiveness with the upward firing speakers? Should I keep my play base or go with a beam and skip on the upward firing speakers? Or is it still by far worth it to go with the Arc Ultra?Additionally with the above, Era 100 or Era 300 rear speakers? I assume if I lose the effectiveness of the upward firing speakers of the Arc, that I should default to
This is roughly the living room set-up we are working with, there’s no wall behind us, and we don’t want to do speaker stands. Does it make sense to ceiling-mount 2 ERA 300s where the red is? I want feedback from people with a similar set-up, curious on how the surround sound wokrs when paired with an Arc Ultra and a Sub.

In my front room I have the following hardware that I would like to setup for TV listening. I know that it won’t be a true surround 7.1 system, but I have a separate home theatre room for that. I figure this setup should be far superior to the current little TV speakers, so…The hardware that I have is:Bookshelf speakers for fronts powered by a Sonos Amp (one of the current black ones). This amp is labeled “TV Fronts” (clever huh?).8” in-ceiling speakers powered by a second Sonos Amp. This one is labeled as “TV Rears”The TV is a few years old Samsung UN75NU6900F that does have an ARC HDMI port (#2).For a TV source, I use an Amazon Fire Cube for Hulu, Max, Netflix, Prime etc.I have attached an HDMI ARC cable from the TV’s ARC port#2 to the Sonos Amp “TV Fronts” HDMI port. The Amazon Fire Cube HDMI out is connected to the TV’s HDMI port#1.I have already downgraded both Sonos Amps to work with the S1 App (I have a lot of other Sonos Amps and Connects that won’t work with the S2 app (“Tha
Hi, I just bought the ace , sound is ok but I didn’t found the same whaou effect that I had with my Apple air pod pro2 Tested on Deezer with Bluetooth the sound seems ( for me ) low Even at 70% for now I’m pretty disapointed For music I use Deezer and vinyle on my AMP 2X125W and beam gen2 I look at the EVERSOLO DAC Z8 and his headphone amp , if I used my ace on the jack input will I have louder sond ?and a better sound with Deezer FLAC is 16/44 thanks
I have tried to play my Audiobooks using the Alexa voice command on my Sonos Roam, but even though I have a Spotify premium account with access to Audiobooks it says that I need to purchase the title through Audible. I even specify Spotify Audiobooks when asking for the title, but it keeps giving the same response. Is this deliberate?
I brought a Roam 2 in Green and it’s beautiful. However, I see the wireless chargers are only available in black or white. I can’t be the only one who would love to have one that matches my speaker? It seems like a no brainer to me, if you offer the speakers in a range of colours why can’t I have the accessories to match? Come on Sonos, any chance of making this happen? Please?
This is sooo frustrating! For quite few months now, I lost anything past the letter Q nor can I add anything back in my Sonos Favorites. I have tried many things, with no luck. The crazy part is, I found those favorites in the Tunein app under my radio shows and my radio stations! And if that were not strange enough, the Iheart app is listed under the Tunein app too!!!! Nobody at Sonos seems to give a damn that their long time loyal supporters of their products cannot enjoy certain features they once could. WHERE ARE YOU SONOS SUPPORT!!!!!
My Sonos ace headphones have stopped playing audio. I turned them on today and no audio has been played from them. When I put them on there is no chime and using any application on my iPhone there is no audio. The headphones still connect, but simply don’t work. I have factory tested them and restarted my phone as well. Nothing has worked.
Next year I am going to be living in a 6 person apartment. I’ve been to friends apartments identical to that of which I will be in next year and their JBL 1000 PartyBox filled up the apartment. I currently have three Play 1’s. I am looking to buy 3 Play 5’s (all older gens to save money). Do you guys think that those 6 speakers could replicate a similar experience to the JBL? What I liked about the JBL was that it filled the entire apartment when placed in the living room, even when there were 100 people throughout the apartment. I feel like even if I bought the three Play 5’s and even added in a sub it wouldn’t be able to replicate the experience I got from the massive JBL. I am also new to this space and know nothing about external speakers or how to use amps and adapters to connect those to Sonos systems. The obvious answer could be “if you like the JBL so much then just buy that.” However, I am already invested into the ecosystem and was wondering if through building an army of Son
HI, I have a sonos amp 2X125W and I want to put 2 speakers focal aria 906 who need 20 to 120w I want to know if my sonos AMP is too powered for those speakers ?
I have sonos throughout my home and sonos amps connected to non sonos speakers. When I send an alexa announcement it goes to my sonos devices and alexa devices like echo show...my ecobee thermostats..... but is there anyway to get it to announce to in built home speakers , I have 12... connected to all my sonos amps? Even if I need a pass through device? I hate that it doesn't go to all my rooms... you would think sonos would somehow enable this....
Which to buy for a 20ft x 20ft room, 2 x sonos 5 or two Sonos era 300?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I’m considering buying some Sonos products for the main living area of my home. It’s a 20x40 space with ceilings vaulted from one story to two. There’s a TV on one side that I’d like to get a soundbar for - I’m considering the beam gen 2. We’d like to have a speaker on the other side of the house so we can have music fill the space - I’m considering an era 300 for that. just looking for advice on whether that’s a good plan, or if there’s another setup I should consider. Thanks!
First comes Roam, then Come Move, next is Wander, Stray, Range????? I was thinking something like the five x2 or the roam x2 or era 300 x2 in travel and weather proof form with 24hr batters and other goodies…
My go to voice assistant for Sonos is Alexa Voice control. That said I’ve been playing with Alexa Plus * and here are my impressions thus far. As advertised It will accept multiple (or string commands). However, contrary to Amazon promotion, IMO they must be spoken deliberately and not too fast. Here’s an example:Turn on TV, kitchen and bedroomThe first command was my Sonos Room with Arc Ultra home theater setup. The second and third were smart lights. I can also ask Alexa Plus to play music in any of my Sonos rooms. Such as:Echo play Sirius XM Watercolors on FireplaceHowever, I have not been able to incorporate such a command as part of a string. I’ve tried starting the string command with the request to play music in the beginning and at the end; to no avail.I’m not going to be using my Alexa branded devices to initiate multiple commands on a regular basis; if at all. My needs as far as voice assistances are concerned are simple. The only time that I might find Alexa Plus convenie
