Is there a way to bypass using two different apps. i have a sonos connect and a era 100

if you use:
- Connect (Gen. 2)
- Connect:Amp (Gen. 2)
you can upgrade to S2 and use also the Era
if you have
- Connect (Gen. 1)
- Connect:Amp (Gen. 1)
You can not upgrade to S2
manufactoring date starting 2015 should be g2 and usable for S2 app.
first 4 digits of the serial number shows the manufactoring date, ex. 1507… (2015 July)

If you can, update your Sonos CONNECT to S2, then both devices can be run by the S2 app.
All Sonos CONNECT are not capable of being upgraded, unfortunately. It depends on when it was manufactured, and the internal electronics.
