I recently bought a new Sonos Roam and tried setting it up with the Sonos S2 app on android(Android Version 13) and everything goes well until after connecting to the wifi where it sais “Your sonos roam has been added, but may not appear in the system settings. If so,press and hold the power button for 5 seconds, then turn your Sonos Roam back on to finish setup from system settings”. When I hold the power button for 5 seconds and then turn it back on nothing happens and I can’t continue the set up process. I also can’t create a system since pressing “Add Speaker or Component” does nothing at all. I can connect the Sonos Roam to the wifi if I go through the “Find Missing products” section but it still doesn’t change anything once it connects to the wifi. Trying to connect it though bluetooth also doesn’t work. I have also tried reseting the app to no avail and resarting my router and checking my router details and it should all be compatible yet I still have the same issue. Im just kin

I was wondering can I add two Move2 speakers to an existing Arc an Sub to create surround sound while also allowing the ability to seperate a speaker to take outside when needed
Can I group 2 Roam Speakers (a Roam 2 and an older Roam) together in a car so as to be able to stream bluetooth audio to both speakers while driving?
I just bought a new Move2. It is connected. When I play my Living Room Sonos or Rocks speakers, it will play. If I try to play it on its own, it cuts out after just a minute.I have reset, deleted, re-added, and everything else I can think of.
Hello everybody out there,My Sonos Move keeps disconnecting from the group and disappearing from my system after some time of not being used. I must restart it to find it available in the app and connect it again. It is wi-fi connected and always on the charger.I am sure some of you may have experienced the same, but I could not find anything that could solve my individual case from the solutions I have read. Looking forward to hearing your ideas. Thanks!
My roam is about 2years old and is not charging and just flashes slow orange light also not responsive or recognized by the app. Also not responsive to pressing the button for any amount of time. Is there any fix?
My Roam wont start, says battery depleted and doesnt charge
Hi everyone, i just founded closed topic about the same problem. The Orange LED of death.I just discovered two days ago that my Roam no more charging on the wireless charger. Battery was empty so, i just say to myself, what a pity, the wireless charger is no more working. Lets charge the Roam the old way!AND i plugged it. One night, One day. Nothing, just the little Orange light just here to say THERE IS HOPE!And when i wanna turn on, nothing happend. The hope disappeared.so, go to sonos.com and to ask the community! and there i discovered that i’m not the only one, sadly…and nothing can help me to change it, just i want to be in contact with someone from sonos. Will i be heard?
I have recently purchased a Sonos Move but cant add it to my system (pair of Era 300s) it wont work. I keep getting a update software message but this causes the app to freeze and i have to delete and reload the app. I simply cant connect the Move speaker to the app. I have tried contacting Sonos but no help is provided with a 100mins wait to have calls answered. Extremely disappointed in the lack of support by Sonos.
I just purchase the Move 2.I am unable to connect it to my phone via bluetooth. I have an android phone - samsung galaxy s21. The move 2 does not show up on the list of bluetooth devices when I place it in pairing mode and scan for it on my phone.I was able to successfully add the move 2 to the sonos app. I have never had any issues with any other bluetooth device on my phone.I even tried to reset the sonos move 2 but still the same issue. Please help thx
It is easy to connect Sonos move to s23 ultra smart phone, however, I am unable to connect Sonos move to Surface Pro 8 tablet. Why is this a problem?
My Move2 won’t charge. It’s at 0%!But as long as it is on the ring, it will play music. Once I take it off the ring, it won’t play. This seems to suggest that there is something wrong with the battery.
I can’t get my Sonos Move 1 to show blue light… I’ve tried switching if off and on then pressing the Bluetooth button
Hi there internet and Sonos, If I understand correctly, since the recent firmware and ios app update, I can no longer manage wifi networks and every time I want to use my Roam with a new wireless network, I have to reset the device and perform a new device setup procedure? And this can only be done on a “consumer” wifi network but not on a hotel or other enterprise/guest networks with client isolation enabled?I really hope I am missing something because who in their right mind would design a MOBILE product with these limitations intentionally?!? And don’t get me started with the disappearance of basic internet radio apps in the sonos app.. I find it unacceptable that Sonos takes away functionality from a product after the sale - I am not talking about services requiring back-end servers.. Is there a process to return a product and get a full refund? Because this is not the product I bought. Kind regards,Andrej
My Move won’t charge either on the base station or via USB-C. Anyone else having this issue?
I have an original Sonos system with Playbar, Sub Base, Play 3, and three Play 1 Speakers in our home. They are not compatible with the S2 software. I would like to add an outside speaker that is waterproof and thought the Roam 2 might be an option. This speaker would be located at our new boathouse which is 150’ from our main house. I needed to install a WI-FI bridge system (NETGEAR Nighthawk) to my main home W-IFI in order to connect an ADT security system there. Can I add a Roam 2 speaker at the boathouse to play the same music that my existing Sonos system is playing in our main house? What would be the best way to connect/group a Roam 2 speaker to my main house Sonos system- Bluetooth?
The system was not finding my roam/move then I read that I needed to upload the new app version. Did and it continues not able for find my roam speaker. I have gone through all the step by step to connect. After several attempts it connected. BUT it continues to happen again and again. Today the system not only can’t find roam but the selected music will not turn off in an other rooms!!
I bought a new Move 2, unboxed it, plugged in the charging base to a surge protector (known working outlet), placed the Move 2 on the charging base, and couldn’t turn it on. No lights appeared.I contacted Sonos Technical Support. I tried plugging the charging base directly into an electical outlet but still no lights. I then connected my own USB-C to USB-C charging cable directly into the Move 2, using the supplied USB-C power adapter, and voila, a light came on. I was then able to turn the Move 2 on and add it my Sonos System. Sonos is sending me a “new” charging base to replace the out of box failure. At 26% charged (from Sonos App), I moved the Move 2 to where I planned to use and charge it regularly, but plugged into a surge protector. The following morning I checked the Sonos App and the Move 2 was at 9% charged. I unplugged from the surge protector and plugged directly into an electrical outlet. The Sonos App displayed the Move 2 charged at 69%.What crazy power requirement does th
Just bought a new Sonos Roam. When trying to connect it, the App finds it and starts the connection process. It plays sounds an I reply by pressing the buttons. Then it’s saying adding Roam to your system. After a while it fails and says “something went wrong try again later “In the app it shows “not registered “ but when trying to fix it, the same happens. Tried resetting the Roam to factory settings. My system is A beam - wired connection,2 one SL, a one and a play1 all in WiFi and have been running in this house a year now. it kind of frustrating now. Does anyone have any good ideas.
Spent some time on chat with a fellow that said he could help me. I cant add this roam to my system. He said their was a problem with my software in the unit itself and would be fixed “soon” . Does that mean they tring to fix mine individually or the system as a whole?
Really upset that I can't get my Move 2 to work with Tidal.I went through the nightmare of creating a new Sonos account in order to get some sound out of the speaker. It now limps along with Spotify but Tidal was what I bought the thing for. Is there another speaker that works?
New roam SL will not connect to existing system
Update on my 1.5 year old Roam that has been determined dead, I've been on several chats with Support, though I've used my Roam maybe 5 times in the 1.5 years, it’s a brick out of warranty, the best they’ll do is a 30% off coupon toward a replacement. Not good enough Sonos, I’ve been a customer since 2008 and things are slipping with the newer devices, by all the accounts posting similar experiences with the Roam, I think it’s a lemon. After talking it over with my wife, we’re not thrilled with the trend, issues with the system as far as connectivity etc, things seem to be on the decline. We won’t be using this coupon offer for another new component, I think we’re done.
