My SONOS system dosen’t work.

I’ve reboted all router, speakers, app. several times. Forgot how many.
After a rebot the speakers one by one pop ups in the app. I can start music in some but not all.  Creating group of speakers is not an option.
A friend, that designs network, has looked in to my system. And he claims that I have a very good system with strong signal in every room I have a sonos speaker. The speakers are found in the network with strong signal. But still not found in the SONOS app. Funny thing that one speaker played music but was not visual in the app. So I couldn’t stop it from playing. Had to unplug. This it not working any longer. I’m not educated in network design. I juste like to play same music in every room in the house. Now I’m thinking of selling the speakers and buy something that works. Been following SONOS since they started. And been building the system starting with a Play5 and connect. But now I give up and will look for a new system.

Did you find what you were looking for?

I have had the same issues. Sometimes I get it all working but the next time I use it things have changed, elements don’t work, groups of speakers no longer group. It’s a nightmare and so different from the experience a few years ago, which was seamless. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Have any of you tried connecting a main speaker, like a soundbar to your network/router to see if that solves your issue?

Also, there was a firmware update this week that may help. Go in to settings and check for updates.

EDIT: From your profile in seems you have speakers that can only be used on the S1 app. Do you still have a Bridge? If so, try removing it from your network.

HI, I also tried adding a "lost" speaker via cable. directly to the router. But no.

And I have "automatic update" as default.

The speakers are a mix of Gen1 (Play 5/3, Connect) and newer (Move, One). No Bridge in the system.

When the system was rebooted – the speakers shown in the app (not all) are both old and new.

It seems like the system doesn't care.

It's so frustrating.

Thank you for your respons.
