My Sonos Playbar’s audio from my Sony TV started to fade out to nothing. Then I would get it to work again. Then it fades out again. Now no audio from the TV comes through the Playbar at all.The playbar still plays spotify and other music from my phone. I have tried replacing the toslink cable, plus I feel i have tested all other steps for these issues. I have also reset the playbar but no audio from the TV. The TV software is up to date.   Does anyone have any suggestions?The main role of this device is for TV audio and thats the only thing that does not work. 

Hello,I bought an Arc Ultra and 2 Subs Gen 4.I have everything set up over wireless only and all are visible in the app.  I can connect one of the subs  to the Arc Ultra but not two.  I can connect the first one fine, and then when I go to either Add A Second Sub under Ultra, or by trying to connect the second sub to the Ultra, it fails.  It actually says the second sub was connected, the ultra makes a bong sound that it adds, but the second sub never attaches in the app and it doesn’t play.  I have disconnected both subs and tried them in different order and the first one always connects, but the second one cannot add per above.  So both subs are confirmed working if it is the first one added, but I can never succesfully add a second sub.  I’ve gone through the menus attempting over and over and reboots, etc., and it just does not work.  What am I doing wrong here???  Its extremely frustrating and have wasted a good part of a day now trying to do this and going through all the waiting

I don’t usually recommend attempting to use SONOS for Karaoke, but I’d like to hear from anyone who has attempted using the HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC connection to a SONOS soundbar. The latency for this connection is 30ms vs 75ms for a Line-In connection. The 75ms delay is totally frustrating for most people. Is the 30ms delay tolerable for you?

Some back story: I started my Sonos Journey around 5 months ago. I initially had a Beam Gen 2 + One SLs + Sub Mini for my 1st full setup. I was then bitten by the Sonos Bug and quickly had the urge to upgrade everything. I found a deal on Facebook Marketplace that I could not pass up, and I upgraded to Arc Ultra + Era 300s + Dual Sub 4s.The Era 300s and Arc Ultra were vast improvements over the One SLs and Beam 2, especially for Movies and Gaming. For music, the Beam 2 setup was pretty amazing, but still a downgrade nonetheless. The area that didn't perform as expected was the Dual Sub 4s, which sounded like a downgrade. I at first thought they were duds and could not hear any bass coming out of them with bass-heavy music. When I set them up, I placed one Sub 4 on my bed, positioning it at the height my ear level would be at viewing position, and then performed a sub crawl. My system arc+2 era 300+ sub gen one  is it worth adding a sub mini or a sub gen 3/4

I just received my new Arc Ultra soundbar, the speaker setup itself was successful but when I run the TV connection using the HDMI Arc cord that was included, my TV does not find the connection. I see the HDMI port on my TV recognizes the connection, my CEC is enabled but it won’t display Sonos device in order to connect. No sound comes from the soundbar to TV connection.  I’ve updated the software, I’ve unplugged the hdmi connection and restarted both my tv and soundbar, then ran the setup again. Nothing works.  any ideas?? I’m super bummed I can’t use my new setup. 

Hi there,New to the Community today and looking for help.I have a Sonos setup with arc, 2 x One SL’s and sub in my conservatory connected to my 75” Sony TV and Sky Mini box.Occasionally when I turn it on I have voice sync issues. The only way I can seem to fix this is to switch everything off for a few mins and re power. Sometimes this can take 2 or 3 attempts to sort it. Very frustrating.Hoping someone has a simple fix to my issue.thanksRich

I have an arc ultra with 2 era 300s and a sub gen 3 setup in my living room. I also have an arc, 2 era 300's and sub gen 2 in my basement. Ive had the ultra arc since it's first release as well as Sonos arc with no issues. Recently, during the month of May both arcs have disconnected from the 300's and subs. All speakers play independently but do not play when attempting to connect as a surround set-up. I've reset all speakers, rebooted the router, rebooted my phone, unplugged and plugged things back in, contacted Sonos support only to have them walk me through doing the same steps I did before. The end result was support telling me that there is a known issue with the arc's that they eventually will stop working in a surround setup wirelessly and must be hardwired to the router. I explained that I've never had any issues with both surround areas and to me it seems to be a software update or app issue but they stood firm in stating that it's a hardware issue. I was having trouble with only getting stereo from my Apple TV into Sonos Beam (sub and 2 Symfonic bookshelf speakers for surround), connected to a Samsung frame (from Dec. 2023). I thought it was a problem with EARC, so I swapped out the Beam for Sonos Arc, connected the sub & surround speakers, and connected through optical.after switching around with the settings within the appleTV and the Samsung, I was still getting only stereo sound on everything I played into the TV through the apple TV.Then I tried playing Disney+ directly through the Samsung. Behold! Dolby 5.1 surround!Then I realized that the only thing playing Dolby Atmos through the AppleTV was AppleTV+ content. Everything else was only playing in Stereo. Shame on you Apple! They better fix this soon.

Hello,I have a question that I have been struggling to find an answer to, and I’m hoping that someone here could help. I am in the process of making the switch from a TV to a projector (the Nebula X1), and that is going to cause some issues. The projector only has two HDMI inputs. They are both HDMI 2.1, and only one of them is eARC. I will need more HDMI inputs than that. The most obvious solution would be to use a receiver, which I am open to. However, I am already using Sonos speakers. If I were to get a receiver, I wouldn’t have the money or the desire to replace the Sonos speakers. I understand how you can turn a receiver into a Sonos speaker using the Port, but I don’t see much about going the other way around. Because normally, why would you? But I already have the Sonos speakers. I looked into HDMI switches, but I haven’t found any that seem powerful enough to preserve the video and audio in a way a receiver could (and even the few I’ve found that claim to have reviews from peo

Hi,I’m using this combination of hardware: Apple TV4K → LG G5 TV → Sonoc ARC.In Apple TV I have Dolby Atmos enabled. In LG G5 I have Bitstream, passthrough and eARC enabled. Sonos ARC is connected to eARC.Dolby Atmos is working perfectly but whenever I’m running 8K HDR YouTube content or non Dolby Atmos on Netflix or other streaming, I’m getting only Stereo PCM or Multichannel PCM.When I’m using TV WebOS built-in Netflix or YouTube app, I’m getting Dolby Digital.Dolby Digital sound much better and richer than PCM from Apple TV. Dolby Digital audio is much louder and has a lot more of bass.Is there any fix for Apple TV4K?

I have a Beam (Gen 2) and Sub Mini, and I’d like to connect a record player.I bought a preamp and a Sonos Connect, but the Sonos app says the Connect isn’t compatible.Is there any workaround?I saw someone on YouTube using this exact setup and it worked.Any help would be much appreciated!

I would be awsome if sonos made software so you could add all the speakers you wanted in one big sones home theater 

Hi,I’ve a Sonos Arc which has had the touch controls disabled until recently, and now I’ve discovered it is from a faulty batch that had an issue with the touch controls constantly enabling and disabling the mic. Raising the RMA was painless enough, however the Advanced Shipment option has an issue accepting credit card details to place a hold on my card until the faulty unit is returned.I don’t want to use the Standard Shipment option for a few reasons:1: I’ve a workaround in that I can disable the touch controls and the Arc behaves as expected2: I’ll be able to use the box the replacement Arc arrives in to safely return the faulty unit3: Shipping from the UK to Poland will leave me without a system for a week or two if I use StandardI called the 0800 026 1526 support number and the agent was very understanding, and explained there has been an issue with the advanced shipment section of ‘support.sonos.com’ accepting card details for a couple of months (I’ve seen other evidence of this

Guys I’m not sure what’s wrong with my system or when it happened.The first movie experience (Dune) was amazing, best atmos I’ve experienced at home and I didn’t want to push volume above 25% because I have neighbors and it was impressive already. That was around November last year.in the meanwhile I added a 2nd Sub 4 that is a great addition. However the system feels nerfed since a while: Volume needs to go to 40% in the Sonos App and it feels less impressive than before. Did quite a lot TruePlay advance runs but not much success.I’m using AppleTV 4K, HdFury Arcana (but from the start)Any software / hardware or firmware upgrade that could cause this? Sonos volume % should give roughly the same power output to everyone or?one thing to mention: the volume control via Apple TV remote usually doesn’t work, does this include source volume?

Hello, I am attempting to set-up my new Sonos system (Arc Ultra center speaker, 300s left and right rear, and subwoofer 4) and believe I may need to purchase an eArc adapter based on what I am reading (Epson LS800 does not support eArc on its own). Here is the set-up I am attempting to achieve (happy to hear feedback if this does not seem ideal):  Use the projector (Epson LS800) only for visual and no longer use it’s speaker, use X Box Series X for everything (gaming, streaming services, etc.) on projector HDMI 3 dedicated gaming port, use Sonos for all audio. I currently have the Sonos system set-up and loving how it sounds when streaming music to it from my phone, but still working on the set-up mentioned above and a bit confused.  Appreciate any feedback and advice! Here are two prior threads that I believe apply to this and could be helpful  And this is the device I see mentioned often online when I attempt to find answers, but seeking confirmation before I purchase and go this dir

Hello , I recently added two Era 100s to my Beam Gen2 , my question is when i ask to play everywhere on my app to have all three units playing, both my Era100s gives distortion sounds not clear . the beam gen2 is directly connected to audio ARC HDMI and the Eras are on wifi. is there something i am doing wrong , and how can i get pure sure 

I have the ray connected to my kitchen tv. I am currently doing a remodel in the kitchen and I planned on putting in ceiling speakers in the cooking and prep area. It is possible to connect ray with the amp? That way I can hear more clearly a TV show while doing a cooking/cleaning task

I would like to use two non-Sonos speakers for my rear surround. Please recommend me suitable products to be used for rear speakers,compatible with my Sonos arc.

Every time I need to switch by arc (wired via ethernet)  and wireless connection to twp Play 3s from Music to the audio from a projector / appletv I have so many problems. Usually have to unplug all cables and power and reset.  any ideas?  I am running the earc signal through a Cable Matters extractor with earc.  

My son bar has been paired with my sub outwith the sonos app for two years. Now it does not work.Why does sonos punish the older systems. I had binned my sonos threes and ones as they were too difficult to use. The sub and the sound bar worked but now nothing on the sub. Two years without the sonos app now I'm punished by sonos agsin for not purchasing new equipment. A sad sad company

I’ve connected Symfomisk satellite speakers to my Arc and the app shows them connected, but no sound is coming out. I’ve turned music onto full in the surround audio setting but still get nothing from the satellites.  I’ve removed them and reinstalled, this did do a software check/update, but not fixed.  things I’ve checked are the WiFi network and strength. Speakers are in the same room. White status lights are on the satellites. i did previously have the satellites connected to a Beam in the same room and they worked great!  help!!
