Hello there,I couldn’t seem to find anything that adresses my issue on your support site.I recently watched two 4K UHD Blu-ray discs (Avengers Infinity War and Endgame) with Dolby Atmos activated. I own a Sonos Arc and a Samsung QLED tv with EARC enabled tv model is QE55Q77TATXXC. I use my Sony PS5 to play the 4K UHD movies.The issue is that the sound disappears for 1-2 seconds every 20-30 minutes for no apparently reason. I’ve tried searching the internet for an answer, but there isn’t any answer anywhere.How to resolve this problem? 

Just set up one speaker so far and seeing how it sounds, which is awesome!  The two questions I have are:Is there a way to set the treble and bass or is factory set? On my phone which I do have the app, is there a way to turn off the speakers or do I have to do that manually to each speaker?

Relocated recently and changed TVs from a Philips TV to a Samsung AU8000 series. No issues before but I’m now getting intermittent crackle/static while watching TV. Connected via HDMI ARC. TV firmware is up to date. I see a few others have had the same issue. Is there a solution to this?

Seen a lot of answers on this topic but wondering if anyone can offer advice. I plan on mounting my arc 10cm/4 inches above my dining table which has a height of 78cm. Then the tv will be mounted 14cm/5.5inches above the top of the Arc. The table will sit against the wall under the arc with the recommended 10cm gap. Obviously being a table it will stand out from the wall with a depth of 80cm. Will the sound be affected by the tables positioning at all? I assume the sound will just travel across the room unaffected by the table as I’m following all distance recommendations but just want to ask advice!

How can I get all connected together in 1 room for surround sound ??

Hi there, I got sonos arc one week ago and I have issues with my EQ settings.I realize that every time I turn on/off the tv my sound settings change. Looking at the app my EQ bass/treble  are set to 0. I have set it multiple times but they keep moving back to 0 (loudness and other settings are ok) is that normal?

So I just purchased the HD Fury Arcana to go with my Arc. I have a 65XBR900F Sony tv. I plugged everything in correctly. Apple TV to HDMI IN, HDMI Out from Arcana to HDMI ARC on tv,  eARC out to Arc. I have video, but the display on the Arcana says “eARC/ARC not active” and getting no sound. Any solutions from anyone? Thanks in advance. 

Tried to set up a sonos beam to parents samsung tv. Upon setting it up, Once I disabled the tv speakers and tried pointing the tv remote control to adjust the volume a pop up box kept appearing saying’adjust speakers direct’ and this happened every time. Tried phoning sonos support - that was a mistake! After being on the phone for one and a half hours didn't get anywhere except for  them saying the tv remote control mustn't be infared, therefore the beam is not compatible!?!  Has anyone heard of this before!?  Many thanks.

I have recently installed Sonos Arc in a Garden Room TV, I have ceiling speakers also, wired from a Sonos Amp. The plan was to connect HDMI to the TV and also the ARC direct to the TV with HDMI. My issue is that the TV I bought only has 2 HDMI ports, horrendous I know. Can I use Digital Optical out for Arc and use the Arc HDMI for the Amp and then have both speakers working together?  Then it will free up another HDMI for my Amazon fire stick. Or is there a better solution? Thanks 

I have two tv’s in the same room. One tv is connected to a (Sonos Arc+Sub+ 2 Sonos SL +Sonos Five).If I get another sound bar, like either another Sonos Arc or a beam. Will it be possible to connect my second tv to the new sound bar but with the same surround system I already have (Sub+ 2Sonos SL + Sonos Five)?

I was listening to music at about 10% of full volume when all of the sudden the music paused mid-song and then a few seconds later out of nowhere came this horrible screechy/scratch noise. The noise was at full volume even though I was listening just moments before and a low volume.  It sounded like a demon had possessed my system.  I have a a paired set of first gen sonos ones, a single sonos five, and a sonos arc.  This happened while listening on the paired ones and sonos five grouped. I live in an apartment bldg. with community WiFi.  I am unable to connect my Playbar to the WiFi.  So I punched a mobile wwfi/router to alleviate this problem, but I still cannot connect.  Please help.Thanks Paul

Set up Sonos beam to Samsung tv 21/07/22after initial setup all was fine until around three to hours of being setup whilst watching YouTube all of a sudden it made a buzzing noise over the audio.played music through the speakers with no interference switched back to tv and the buzzing continued only solution was to power cycle both tv and the beam and everything was fine.today 23/07/21 after playing music then switching to tv it had totally lost connection and again only solution was to power off and on tv and Sonos beam.after this did some digging about and discovered the it could be HDMI CEC interferenceSo I went to the system settings on the tv and turned off the anynet+HDMI CEC,this knocked the sound off bit when turned this back on it came straight back to life.I am running the beam alongside a play:1 and a move and all get along famously just using the Sonos S2 app to control them.the problem is clearly a HDMI handshake between beam and tv (it is connected via HDMI arc as per ins

Hi. I have a Sonos beam and a Gen 3 Sub. The Sub regularly (daily) disappears from the system. The beam still works fine and is in the App, but the Sub has vanished (system setup in the app shows ‘Beam +?’)Only solution seems to be a factory reset of the sub and then reintroduce it to the system. Not ideal and yesterday I couldn't get it back at all and after a faff I now have the sub but no beam :)Soooooo. My culprit I think is Sky Q interfering maybe. Ive tried both 5G and 2.4G frequencies and the same thing still happens.I’m thinking of going down the powerline route and putting a network cable into the sub and maybe the beam too. Has anyone tried this? thanks.Paul  

It was working fine and then just stopped working two nights ago. I have an older Samsung smart TV. I have tried changing HDMI cables, turning Anynet on and off, disconnecting the ARC power and HDMI, re-connecting them and nothing seems to work.

I have an old 2016 Sony LCD that I will be attaching my Arc to. My tv doesn't have an eArc but it does have an Arc hdmi port. Would there be any difference in quality hooking the Arc using the optical adapter as compared to hooking it up via the Arc hdmi? I would like to use that last hdmi for an Xbox.

I purchased a Beam a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it but twice now I’ve had to power cycle it to get the IR sensor working again. Randomly it will stop responding to Sky Q remote when streaming music. Tried all the usual - batteries in remote, making sure IR sensor isn’t blocked, re-pairing etc. A power cycle is the only thing that works instantly without having to alter any other settings. It’s so frustrating and annoying. I have read other posts about this but they seem to be a few years old. Anyone else experiencing this still, any fixes etc?? I’ve got the latest software installed. TIA

I have a Beam connected via HDMI ARC to a Vizio TV. Recently the volume on the Beam has to be turned almost all the way up to get a normal volume level I can hear. This is an issue with all streaming apps on Roku and also tried on Fire Stick and same issue with it. Anyone know what the issue could be?

I have my Sonos Arc connected to the Samsung UA65AU8000KXXM (2021 Crystal UHD). My sources are: native Netflix TV app and the new Apple TV 4K. I’ve read about “sound cutting in/out with Arc + Samsung TV”, but this is slightly different. The problem: intermittently no audio from the Arc at the START of the movie (either playing from TV Netflix app or Apple TV Netflix/Disney apps). Sometimes the audio comes on after 10-30secs. Sometimes it doesn’t at all, and I need to exit the movie, try some other movies and after 2-3 tries, it works. But once the audio comes on, I’ll have no issues for the rest of the movie (except for once, that I can accept).  Settings on the TV appear to be correct (eARC, Passthrough, Atmos) - and when it works, the Sonos S2 App does display “Dolby Atmos”.  I called Samsung Tech Support and they very quickly pointed the problem to Sonos. I’m talking to Sonos Tech Support right now but am curious if anyone here sees a similar problem?

I bought my Arc yesterday and set it up. All went well. Later that evening the app would no longer connect the soundbar and it would say to check the internet. Internet is fine and all my devices connect without a problem. Tried reconnecting via the app multiple times with no luck. Did a reset this morning and now I can’t connect to it still and no sound. Support is closed on weekends. I’m very frustrated that this expensive device doesn’t work as it should. Any suggestions? I have a cable router that you cannot make any changes to, but works fine with all my 30+ devices at home.

I have an A8H that works with ARC on my Denon 4300, just put a an Arc SL in place as I’m moving the Denon to a dedicated theater.  I’ve unplugged everything but the ARC from the A8H and have yet to hear any sound out of the Arc via the TV ( I did proof of life with Spotify), every time I get to the testing phase the Arc says “Audi System Not Connected”.  I switched from my HDMI cables to the ones that come with the Sonos, I’ve powered everything off and unplugged, called Sonos support who walked me thru the same things I had already done and suggested I call Sony (that was a short call when I mentioned the Denon works on arc like a champ).Arc and TV are connected to WiFi, WiFi is Ubiquiti networks. Any Ideas?

I request , can anyone please share Sonos official product Setup videos so that I can see them and learn them or sometimes I can share to my team members. For example today one of my team member installing Surround setup - Arc + SL + SUB , but he is not able to do it properly and he is facing lot of network issues, so do we have any videos ??    

This system worked fine for years, but the last year or so it has been unbearable. It cuts out all of the time arbitrarily. We have a Connect which I thought was supposed to mitigate  this sort of thing. Diagnostic report: 1555219827

I have a Sonos Arc connected to my LG B7 (ARC), and an Apple TV 4K, if I play an EAC3 file (DD+) on the Apple TV, the Arc starts playing back in DD. But if I play the same file on the Plex WebOS version, it plays back in DD+.I have no idea what is causing this issue, but I am assuming that it is the Apple TV. As the LG Plex version can play back DD+ over arc to my Sonos Arc with no issues. I can play DD+ (Atmos) fine on Netflix on the Apple TV, it is just using Plex on EAC3 files that do not playback in DD+. I have checked and everything is working via Direct Play, but have no idea how to fix this issue.

Owned the Sonos Sub Woofer for three weeks before it stopped working.  Tried a Reset Troubleshoot found in Sonos Community and was able to “Add” the sub back on with my Arc and Surround Speaker but it still does NOT work.  Shows as added to the Room but no sound.  The Arc and Surround Speakers are hard wired, the sub is on wifi.  Any suggestions?
