How to see the whole text line in Sonos App

When I use Sonos app to play for example songs from Spotify or books from Storytel, I cannot read the whole text line, so I have to quess what the line is saying or to start playing by touching the line and then I see the whole text. But with 10 book/podcast lines all starting with the same words then it takes a long time to find the right one? Why isn’t it possible to show the whole text of the book, song, podcast?Picture of the Sonos App is shown where the last text is missing and picture of the Storitel app (Mofibo in Danish) is shown where the whole text is seen.

Unable to Reauthorize Plex in Sonos Amp

My plex account somehow became deauthorized within the Sonos app (on Android).  I tried to reauthorize the account.  The pop-up webpage stated after signing in “Thanks! You have successfully signed in.  You may now close this window.” When I go back to the Sonos app, the app states “Account not found.  Unable to add Plex account.”Each attempt to authorize adds a new token in Plex for authorized devices.  I tried deleting each token in Plex and it still will not actually authorize within Sonos. There are no other issues with Plex at this time.  It is accessible inside the local network and outside the local network.   I would like to solve this soon as I use Plex playlists for my kids, especially lullaby music for them.

3.5mm to USB C dongle delays?

I ordered the proprietary (and seemingly required) SONOS brand 3.5mm to USB C dongle to connect a turntable to the Era 300 on 4/19/23 and still haven’t received it! Meanwhile, the ‘expected to ship date’ on the item’s page keeps moving back. Has anyone else encountered this and heard back from customer service with any informarion?

Tune In - radio title not available

when I connect to a radio station via Tunein (FIP in France) on Sonos, It only shows the station name and not the title playing. The same radio on the web shows all titles in direct https://www.radiofrance.fr/fip

linking a turntable to my Sonos system

So I have a setup including 4 Sonos One speakers ( Generation 2 ), and 1 Sonos Beam soundbar. Prior to getting these I had fondly imagined that in time I’d be able to get a turntable of some kind that would wirelessly connect with my system, so that I would be able to hear my old vinyl again. Too late have I come to appreciate that this can only be done via Bluetooth ( not Wi-fi ), and as the One speakers are not Bluetooth-enabled, that seems to be that, and I am stuffed. having just acquired all this Sonos gear at what to me amounts to significant expense, I am in no great hurry to junk my Sonos Ones and shell out further hundreds to substitute Bluetooth. Does anyone out there have any idea how I can achieve what I need without starting all over again / breaking the bank in the process ? many thanks in anticipation !

So I wanted to play my decks but coming through the Sonos throughout my house and as I’m sure everyone’s aware it’s been said it’s impossible, however I’ve found a way!!!  so connecting the decks to the Sonos Ray which has a optical input so you’ll need a rca cable splitter to optical  ( this connects the decks to the Sonos ray )  now with this set up there is a delay from the decks headphones and the Sonos playing .so to sort this you’ll need to purchase a lip sync corrector And a aux to rca cable x 2 of these When that’s connected I found my deck headphones where super quite so I bought an amp to make them louder . so from the decks to the Sonos ray is rca to optical leadand to sort the delay is a aux to rca cable plugging into a lip sync corrector which then plugged into a headphone amplifier via rca to aux lead then plug your headphones into that  Links below https://cpc.farnell.com/cyp/au-d18/lip-sync-corrector-adjustable/dp/AV21325https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg3414/hi-res

products not able to connect to Sonos system

I get a message via Sonos app saying ‘products can’t connect to Sonos system’I’ve tried the ‘fix now’ options e.g. switch products off & on, and unplugged router, left for a few minutes then switched back on, but still doesn’t resolve the issue, so does anyone have an answer please?  Please note that these 3 products (2 x play 2 & sound bar) have previously been connected and have worked fine. Also, Sonos recognises the products, but still not able to connect.  Lastly, I have another product (play 3) in a different room that works fine. Appreciate your help/advice

adding music library from phone (android) to SONOS 2 app

Hi,After last actualization SONOS2 “forgot” my music library (catalogue on microSD on android phone). I’ve tried to add new Music Library (Settings/System/Music Library/Configuration of Music Library/add) but app do not accept path to file (which I take from phone file manager) for exmpl: /storage/6231-6630/MUSICIt also asks for user and password which are described as optional - do I have to ad those too when file is not protected?Does any one know how to set path to the SD card ? If I knew the beginning of the path the rest would be easy...

I notice a new station, Sonos Radio. When I tried to remove/ deactivate i could not.Please help how i get this removed.All search results in the app. Starts with Sonos Radio. This is bad.Hope this bug Will be Solved

Frequent sound drops on Beam Gen 2 (Xbox Series X)

Hello all, I have noticed an issue when playing my Xbox where the sound will cut out roughly every 20 mins in an atmos enabled game.  The sound will cut out for around a few secs, then it will come back again like if someone was muting the audio.  I’m not sure if is it just an atmos related issue, but I have not noticed it elsewhere just on my Xbox.  I was wondering if there is anything I can check on my setup? TV: Samsung Q95T (eARC, passthrough and CEC enabled)Xbox:  Dolby Atmos, passthrough enabled)

app crashses when loading

I am running iPhone XS Max on iOS 16.5in last 2 days I can’t load Sonos app.  It just crashes and goes back to home screen.  I have restarted phone, deleted and reinstalled app from App Store.  No change.  My wife’s phone with similar spec is working fine???

Which exact Sonos models are considered "related" for surround purposes?

Hello all,At https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/surround-sound-guidelines-and-limitations there is the statement “related models like One and One SL can be used together as surround speakers” without specifying which exact models are related. From that article, and searching through the forums, it appears to me that the following two sets of models are considered related, that is, you can mix them together for surround: One (Gen 2), One (Gen 1), One SL (rev 1 and 2)(forums seem to suggest Gen 1 and Gen 2 can be mixed, and article says One SL is related) SYMFONISK Floor Lamp, SYMFONISK Table Lamp (Gen 2)(explicitly noted in footnote 2 of the article) SYMFONISK Bookshelf (Gen 1), SYMFONISK Bookshelf (Gen 2)(not sure of this; basing this on forum reports that you can stereo pair them) Not related for surround purposes, despite having the same speaker hardware (basing this on forum reports that you can’t stereo pair them):Play:5 (Gen 2), Five Is this correct? sonos one SL not connecting to internet or my phone

I've been having issues with my Sonos one SL for a few months and decided to plug in an ethernet cable. once I did that the app told me I need to factory reset my speaker. I followed the instructions online and held down the back button. however when I do so the lights only turn flashing orange, not flashing orange and white, and nothing seems to happen. not sure what To do and how to make this work again.

connecting both a projector and tv to the Beam

Hi, I have bought a Sonos beam and I am confused on how to connect it both to my projector and TV at the same time (I use the TV in the day and the projector at night) at present I have an nvidia shield going to a hdmi splitter with 2 outputs, 1 to the projector and one going to the tv I have bought a sonos beam gen2 and i’m wondering how I should get the signal to it - should I add another splitter directly after the nvidia shield and connect that via hdmi to the sonos beam?

Moved from Canada to Mexico and Sonos was disconnected for about 2 months. When trying to setup my arc and mini sub again the Sonos app would advised there was no wifi when there definitely was. To fix this I ended up deleting the app completely from my iPhone and reinstalling it as well as disconnect VPN. It now recognized there was wifi and it connected with the arc but could not connect the sub mini. Tried factory reset as in previous posts and it worked however it would not pair with the arc. How I ended fixing it was deleting the mini sub from “Living Room” in the app and the reinstalling it back in that room. Everything works fine now. Hope this helps.

Changing to Sonos, can't make it stop

I bought some Sonos speakers last week and since that I encounter a strange issue I can’t figure out what causes it and how to make it stop.For the record, I use Spotify as music streaming service.The issue I have is that when I start to stream music in my car or phone it automatically changes to the speakers in my home. I’ve grouped 3 of the speakers as one group and one is separate. It always transfers the music to the grouped speakers. The odd thing is that I get the music to right unit, like when I’m in my car driving but after a couple of minutes it transfers the music to the speakers at home. If I redirect it back to the car it works fine, for a couple of minutes then it transfers it back to the speakers at home again.I never had this issue before and this started to happen as soon as I bought my Sonos speakers.

Era 300 wall mount with high ceiling

hi what ist the best way to wall mount ERA 300 if you have a high ceiling about 4,50 meters i have to mount them in a height of 2,80 meter so I have about nearly 2 meters to the ceiling in that case would it be better to mount them upside down ?

getting atmos on beam gen 2 without earc

I want to find out if there are any streaming devices that will provide Atmos sound over my second generation beam without having to purchase a pass-through device. I made the mistake of getting the Apple TV not knowing that it requires the earc input to get Atmos without some secondary device like the HDfury. Are there any devices like the Nvidia shield or something else that will play Atmos quality sound with a tv that has only arc, not earc?

Amp as surround with Arc fails to connect

I have an amp 2 ft away from my arc, with the amp controlling two rear embedded speakers. I've tried just about everything, including factory resets. If they stay decoupled, they both work. As soon as I try to add the amp as a surround system for the Arc, it fails to connect "Surrounds couldn't be added" and the Amp immediately becomes disconnected in my system.  Both are connected via WiFi; previously the amp was on Ethernet but with the v14 update, surround doesn't work. Thanks in advance for any/all help.

Sonos S1 hangs when attempting to add any music service

Hi. I’ve had an S1 system for over a decade (3x S5 gen1, Amp and Connect) and it generally worked fine. Over the years I’ve subscribed to (legit) Napster, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music and Deezer. Plus BBC Sounds and a few other services without issue. Last night, we purchased our first S2 product, a Move. I removed all existing devices, reset them and, after setting up the S2 with Move, created a new clean S1 system.All of the devices are there, but the only thing I can connect to is Sonos Radio. If I click to add a music service I just get a spinning ball type icon (happy to share a screen grab if needed) and the app hangs. It responds fine if I select to add a voice system.I’ve obviously rebooted everything multiple times. I’ve reset the S1 app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it. On two iOS phones. Nothing works. There are no issues using the Move on the S2 app. All services are visible and available to add.I spent over an hour on Sonos chat and was ultimately told to call the UK
