15.2 Update - Some Sirius XM channels will play, some say "Unable to Play the Selected Item"?

After the 15.2 Update (build 72239150) .  Some of my Sirius XM channels, will play, others will not.  Same problem whether I use the mobile app or my desktop controller.

Using SONOS Port

Considering Port, but need to better understand connection to AVR.  I believe I need AVR with Trigger input, not output, correct?  That seems to be hard to find, most AVR have Trigger Out.  Does the trigger from Port to AVR simply turn on the AVR?  Or will it also select the correct input on the AVR to play music?  For example, if the AVR was last used with an HDMI input for TV, do I need to manually change the AVR input from HDMI over to the input Port is connected to?  Also, how does the volume pass-through work?  Can I really control the volume of the AVR from the Sonos app when streaming music from Port to the AVR?

Spotify skipping and worse on specific songs

So I’ve been having this issue for a couple months now. I’ve seen some of the other threads. I do NOT have cross fade turned on. Spotify regularly skips when playing from Sonos app, and gets really bad with specific songs which I don’t get at all. I’ve restarted router, unplugged all products, and I’m considering downgrading to S1 to see if that helps. Any advice or tech support is greatly appreciated.

Stereo PCM

I have a Sonos Arc and two Sonos Era 100s. I recently set up the Arc soundbar. I set my 60” Pioneer KURO plasma digital output to Dolby Digital.  I am only getting stereo PCM on the Sonos Arc/app. Shouldn’t it be showing Dolby Digital?Help!!!

Sonos one sl

I have two sonos one SL speakers which are paired as system surround for my Sonos Arc and Sub. I own this system for almost two years now. I noticed recently that sonos one sl speakers disappeared from showing up under my system. I still can connect to them through music streaming apps but they are not stereo paired anymore and shown as two separate speakers. i tried to factory reset them and reconnect them to Sonos app but still the same issue. They are connected to wifi and listed under connected devices to my router but they are not shown under system. I tried adding them using instructions of adding new product. The process go through and I get a message telling me the speakers are added but i need to unplug them and plug them for them to show up under system and I did that several times without success. Is that problem something known? How I should resolve that?

How do I convert a spotify playlist to a sonos playlist

There seem to be a million threads on converting/exporting playlists out of Sonos, but I want to convert a playlist from Spotify into a Sonos playlist.  I want to do this so that I can add songs to the playlist that do not appear on Spotify.

Love & hate with trueplay

More hate then love at this point… I find it really unreliable and inconsistent. It gives me different results every time I run it. And even different results with different devices (I have an iPhone 12, an old iPhone 6s and an iPad).I have the beam 2, sub mini and ones as rears. With 4 speakers and Atmos audio some kind of calibration is really needed. More speakers = more things that can go wrong with timing and eq issues.The goal of Trueplay is to neutralise the influence of the room and give you the most standard sound. But what standard are we talking about if every time is different? How can it be trusted?After doing Trueplay I use some sound tests to check what’s happened and more often then not some further adjustment is needed.And it’s also buggy: why rears speaker distance is set to maximum distance while it’s not true? It introduces audible delay that you can notice with an appropriate test.I’m thinking of ditching it totally, and I would do it if manual control would be mor

Sonos sub stuck on "Adding Sub. This may take a moment..."

I’ve recently moved and switched wifi’s. Connected my Sonos ARC just fine, and was able to connect the Sub to the app and wifi.The issue comes when I attempt to pair the Sub with the ARC. It will be stuck on “Adding Sub. This may take a moment...” and does not ever finish. I have called Sonos tech support multiple times to no avail. Please help.

I just setup HDFury Arcana, ARC, Apple TV 4K (Gen 3) and LG OLED C6 (2017) and it’s all working with little fuss.I’m on 0.87 Firmware on ArcanaIt’s a little glitchy when it all powers on though, but it’s works so far.Using Logitech Harmony which is hanging in there.I had set “Sonos ARC” under Audio Settings on the Arcana and that caused no sound, when I put it back to Auto it worked. Maybe I didn’t wait long enough, because hand shakes are slow and glitchy.So Everything is set to Auto on HDFury (same as Factory Reset, no changes)Sonos App is showing Dolby Atmos or MultiStream PCM depending on Content.Is there any settings I should change on Arcana for a smoother startup.I’m a Little concerned with comments of users saying it’s too glitchy and they ended up removing it.I don’t mind a bumpy start up, as long as it consistently works.When powering on, I might see Video, no sound, then it goes black for what feels like a long time, then sound comes on, then Video. That sort of thing. Feels

Sonos Beam Gen 2 issue with LG C9 running direct from Laptop using Dolby Atmos

Audio is cutting out like a blip, not completely silent. Just enough to be annoying. I’ve tried resetting the beam. Changing out all the HDMIs. Media PC set to Dolby Atmos for home theater in Windows 11. Shows Atmos in the app. Not sure what to do at this point .

Feature request - High Resolution audio streams

I would like to place a feature request for more flexibility regarding Hi Rez music streaming please . As bandwidth restrictions for most  people are not as onerous as in the past, there isn’t a need to brute force restrict streams to only 24/48kHz .  it would appear that hi rez only gets decoded by Sonos  at the 24/ 48kHz rate if the stream is just that . Anything above that gets downgraded to CD standard .   Can’t we have the functionality of say Netflix which can assess what a customer’s bandwidth is and then allow program resolution accordingly ? I’m sure S2 compliant products have hardware more than capable to decode at any rate . It’s a shame it’s not been utilised at the moment .

Initial Impressions: Era 300s vs. Play:5s (Fives) as Surrounds with the Arc

Previous setup:Arc + Sub (Gen 3) + Play:5s Room dimensions and layout:20’ long x 13’ wide with an 8’ tall ceilingThe Arc is located on the 13’ wall on a 2’ tall media console. The surround speakers are placed on speaker stands in the corners of the opposite wall on each side of the sofa angled towards my main listening position. My main listening position is a giant Jaxx Saxx (bean bag) in the center of the room about 8’–9’ from the Arc and 8’–9’ from the surround speakers. I can hear the height channel audio from the Arc loud and clear from this listening position. What I watch/listen to:I listen to A LOT of music in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 on both physical media (Blu-ray, DVD-A) and streaming (Apple TV 4K). I also watch a lot of films in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 on Blu-ray and streaming. I own multiple Dolby Atmos and DTS demo discs on Blu-ray to test with. Play:5s as surrounds:I have been using a pair of Play:5s as surrounds with my Arc + Sub setup for the last 8 months and have loved it. Using one Era 300 speaker as a back speaker in our home stereo set up

Hello. Running power to my upper back wall in our living room for 2 Era 300 speakers is going to be a bit of an issue. The back of the back wall is an upstairs bedroom so this prevents us from putting the electrical outlets where we want to without ripping out a lot of sheetrock. With that said, can I use only 1 Era 300 speaker for my back speaker and it upgrade my overall sound? It can be set in the middle of the upper back wall. Are there any limitations with configuring this type set up in the Sono App? Thanks in advance.

How do Sonos iOS app and Music iOS app work together?

I am considering buying a pair of the 5 speakers. I have not totally wrapped my head around the usage on a day-to-day basis. I think the Sonos app is used to set stuff up, like EQ, but from then on you just use the iOS app of choice - e.g. Music, Sonos, whatever. You basically forget the Sonos app until something changes. My concern is the wife having to do anything more than firing up Music and playing.

SW update with Mac Ventura

Is Sonos ever going to get their Boost to work with Mac’s Ventura?  If not just say so and too bad deal with it!  This has been going for like year now.  Is this Sonos just trying to get me to buy newer HW like HP did?

Can a multi-room Sonos system connect to two different networks at different times?

I have a multi-room Sonos system in my vacation house.  The current setup is that theSonos system is on the primary network for the house, which also has access to Lutron, Crestron, Nest, etc.  I do have a secondary network in the house for guests to use (separate name/separate password).  I would like to give guests access to Sonos, without access to the other systems.  Is it possible to set up Sonos to look at two different networks for a control signal (not at the same time, of course)?

Sub and Amp keep disconnecting from arc

My sub and amp say in the amp they are connected to the arc in my “Living Room” but now sound comes out of the rear speakers connected to the amp or the sub. I have to unplug the arc and re-add everything every time to get them to work together. Once I reconnect everything it works fine until the next morning?
