Speakers disappearing from app, but not from the controllers on my Mac or PC

Every other day, some of my speakers disappear from the app. It’s not always the same speakers, and checking with two phones might sometimes show different parts of the Sonos system on each phone. The speakers usually reappear after a while (or after power cycling them). But strangely, even when my phone is not showing any speakers at all (yes, this also does happen), I can always see the whole system in the controller on my Windows PC or my Mac. Apparently, the speakers are connected the whole time, for the following reasons:Windows and Mac controllers can always see and control them. I can ping the “missing” speakers from any device on the network. My access points report uninterrupted connectivity to the speakers with great connection quality. The speakers keep playing even while the app doesn’t see them.My setup:5x One SL + 1x Move (all spread across the house, on different floors) Ubiquiti Unifi network devices USW Pro 24 (main switch) Various access points (Flex HD, U6+), all wi

Sonos Move - Battery Depleted

I have many Sonos products including the Move and the Move ring charger.  Just noticed the lights blinking red while sitting in the charger. Tried to plug it in and gives me the orange blinking I'm charging lights.The app says, "battery depleted." Please help!I'm afraid this thing is dead.

Connection to Siriusxm

I’ve been playing SiriusXM on my Sonos speakers for many years with no problems.  Worked great.  Now just over the past few days I keep getting disconnected from SiriusXM.  Every couple of hours I am told “Unable to play the selected item.”  If I try to browse SiriusXM I am told “Unable to browse music.”  The only way around this I find is to remove my SXM account and then go thru the process of adding my SXM account back in.  A lot of unnecessary work.  Is there a fix to this?   This is in the S2 app version 15.9  Thank you.  - Arnie

Volume controls iphone keys

Used to be able to control my systems volume with my iPhone keys - not logging into the app.  Function stopped working and not sure how to fix it.

Airplay is "unable to connect to Sonos Roam" daily

Hey folks,I've got a Sonos Roam and I'm bumping into an issue. To connect it to Airplay, I have to go through the whole process of resetting the device. Ethernet connection with Arc and Sub

I have an Arc, sub gen 2 and a pair era 300’s.  I found an old thread that was advising if you have an arc connected via Ethernet, the sub should not be connected Ethernet because of the 5ghz network the home theater setup creates for itself.  The person in the tread had a gen 3 sub and since I have a gen 2, I was wondering if this is still the case.  FYI, I also have 3 other rooms that are all wireless connections  Thanks

Would Era 300s work in this space as surround speakers?

My entertainment space is rather limited, around 3.5x3m currently having an Arc and Sub gen3. It would be nice to have a pair of Era 300s as surround speakers but I’m not sure if they would work in this space. Especially as I need to keep the shelf on the wall (I can move it but it has to be on that wall). This is the space, would it make sense to get those speakers here and if so, how should I place them?

All of a sudden, my Play:5 speaker is refusing to group with my Move speaker and vice versa. This is a new problem - I had all speakers grouped as one less than a week ago

RAY sound bar making an alert/alarm sound

My Ray sound bar is about one year old. It is connected to my TV. Recently it has been making a high pitched alarm/alert siren sound. The sound is deafening so I unplug it and that is the only way it stops. The sound goes off after close to an hour of using the sound bar, but it never did that before. It just started happening last week. Please advise.

Pair of Sonos One SL

Hi all!Got my pair of One SL setup today. Orignaly intended to replace my Play 3's for surround duties, but for now I have put them on left and right side of the Playbar. They sound really good as a stereo pair. However, I think they will become my surrounds and I will sell my Play 3's, and my single One gen 2 for one era 100,300 or maybe move. The other option is sell Play 3's, one gen2 and Playbar and upgreade to Arc, as a centerpiece of my audio system.Your opinion?Neven

I have a Kurzweil keyboard and would like to send its output into my existing Sonos system. I tried to plug it into the input jack of my Sonos 5, but get delay and poor sound. Any suggestions?

Music File Refuses to Play or be Converted for 44Hz/24 Bit

I just found a FLAC Music File that refuses to play on my S1 System.Two other songs in the same folder play without issue, but I get a SONOS Error Message of :“Unable to Play…. Is is Encoded at Unsupported Sample Rate of 88200 Hz” I went as far as obtaining a 2nd copy and it too Errors with the same Message.I attempted to use AUDACITY to convert it to 44Hz / 24 Bit…. I exported it with those parameters and I get the same message…. This is a new Error I’ve not encountered in my 1600+ Song Library…..Something is somehow embedded causing this….. or simply I am not converting it properly. Suggestions are most welcome!

Sonos Beam vs Apple TV 4k vs Samsung 2021 TV - glitchy sound

Hi, I have an issue with my Sonos soundbar setup.I have a 2021 Samsung AU8000 TV, Sonos Beam Gen 2 (Sonos HDMI cable) and Apple TV 4K 2022 (connected via HDMI 2.1 cable).I have just upgraded from Apple TV 4K 2017 and I started having a strange sound issue with eARC, Pass-through and Dolby Atmos enabled. The sound is distorted - high pitched and out-of-sync.If I disable any of the mentioned options, it goes back to normal. Also, this applies only to content from ATV, all internal Samsung apps sound fine.I’ve upgraded my ATV HDMI cable (no change), updated Sonos to 15.10, re-adopted my Sonos System and tried myriad different options on the TV or ATV.So in conclusion, the only change was upgrading Apple TV from 2017 to 2022 model and the issue appeared.

Sonos keeps trying to update, even after updating three times

I have updated the software on the SONOS app three times. However, every time I launch it, it still wants to update. And then all the options under “Manage” are greyed out. Help

Android app can't find system on wifi network that laptop and ipad using for sonos

“All of a sudden” my fully updated Android sonos s2 app can’t find the long existing system.  Right now a laptop and and ipad connect and use the same sonos system on the same network that the android app has been using.  I uninstalled/reinstalled the android app, rebooted my phone.  Nada.The only thing I can think of is that I used the phone’s bluetooth connection to link spotify to an amp, something I had not done before.  Currently I’ve turned off spotify and bluetooth, still no connection.  Thanks for your help.

"Unable to connect to sonos, Lets fix it" on new phone, old one still works

Ik have a couple of "IKEA Symfonisk” speakers some wired to my home network some on Wifi both have the Android app version 14.20.1.On my old phone (Android 11) I can use the Sonois system as I did before.My new phone (Android 13) keeps coming with "Unable to connectto Sonos. Let’s Fix It”.Even after removing and re-instralling the Sonos App on the new phone an trying to join an existing system it fails to find my system with the erro "There was a problem connecting to the Sonos system” with only a try again button.Somehow the entire Sonos system cannot be found on my new phone, while on others (older phones) it seems to work flawlessy.

Era 300 (unused) not registered

After trouble shooting why the Era 300 does not response, reset one of the speaker to factory reset.  Overnight, the other speaker came back, the speaker that was factory reset was not allow to add back as a new speaker.  It keep on asking to do a factory reset.  Performed the factory reset again, but would not able to add to the system.  The app keep on giving instruction to perform a factory reset.  Could not get out of this loop.

Sound Dropouts + crackling on Sonos Arc

First of all I apologize for my not perfect english.I bought a whole system with sonos arc + 2 sonos one sl.I spent a lot but I was super happy with the quality of the audio and the superb rendering of the dialogues. To my amazement I discovered that I didn't need the sub woofer as the bass was really full and high quality.However then comes the surprise: continuous sound dropouts made watching content frustrating. I had to pause, wait 2-3 minutes, and then resume listening. This happens really often. I replaced 3 sonos arc and they all gave me the same problem.Before sonos arc i had jbl bar 9.1 and lg soundbar 3.1.2, the audio quality is not comparable to sonos arc but they never gave me problems of sounds dropouts.To my enormous regret I have decided to make the PERMANENT RETURN of the sonos arc+ 2 one sl system and never to buy SOnos again until they decide to recognize and fix this crap!For now I would say: FAREWELL SONOSP.S. my own problems are reported by numerous users on this f

not able to change wifi with my Sonos Beam

I just upgraded my Bell router to the Hub 1.5 download speed. I set up a 2.4G wifi channel for it, and when I go through the procedures to change wifi’s I get the message “can not connect.   How to I fix this problem?  Do I have to reset speaker to factory settings?  If so how?
