Sonos Beam Gen 2 Random Low Volume

I have the Sonos Beam Gen 2, Sonos sub mini, Apple TV 4K 3rd gen, and a PS5. Whenever I play movies or video games that either have Dolby Atmos sound or LPCM sound, my Sonos Beam randomly reduces the volume then goes back to normal. This started with the previous Sonos Beam Gen 2 update.

Sonos Version 16.0 build 77449290 issues

My system upgraded to Sonos Version 16.0 build 77449290 issues.Since then ….… adding multiple rooms when playing music is very slow it takes sometimes up to a minute when adding more then one room at once. music is jumping in and out due to reconnecting, … on the iOS app selecting a room and confirm the selection results into nothing. When open the dialog again, the selection I did before did not get acknowledged and is gone.I never had this issue with the 15.x versions. It is again a new issue. Please test your firmware before releasing it.

Some Apple Music playlists not visible on Sonos app

Having an issue with Apple Music playlists not visible within the Sonos app, I’ve tried removing Apple Music from services and adding back to no avail - could anyone recommend how this might be fixed? TIA

Stereo pair of Ones vs Era 100

Hey guys,Would love to hear from everyone who have tested Ones and Era 100s properly, as surrounds and as stereo pairs. Let’s say you want two setups in your house; one: a surround setup with your Sonos soundbar & Sub, and two: a stereo setup for music listening. You are provided with a pair of Sonos Ones and a pair of Era 100s to choose from. Which ones would you pair with your soundbar as surrounds, and which ones will you setup as stereo for music listening? Please, don’t have your decision solely based on the bass output. Any comments/explaination/suggestions will be very much appreciated.

5.1.4 dolby setup

I am looking to set my living room up with a 5.1.4 overhead speaker setuphttps://www.dolby.com/about/support/guide/speaker-setup-guides/5.1.4-overhead-speaker-setup-guide/ I plan to use sonos amp+arc+sub+2wall speaker either side of tele+2 wall speakers either side of sofa+ 4 ceiling speakers as per the dolby design. Amp will be in loft with eArc link to TV via hmdi/cat6aQuestion is if I can only have 3 pairs of speaker on the amp how do I connect the 4th pair so it is all in sync with the TV. Thanks

Faulty Sonos Roam Charger: Melted and Burned

Last month, we smelled smoke coming from the room where our Roam was located. We ran to it, to find a terrible chemical smell and saw smoke coming from the speaker. The charger was their branded product and was smoking. We immediately unplugged it, burning our fingers in the process. We reached out right away. Sonos said they were replacing the speaker 3 weeks ago, even though I am uncomfortable receiving the same product. They’ve now gone silent. We burned our fingers unplugging this. They offered nothing in terms of any form of apology or compensation. We are now up to Level 3 customer service, which has proven to be as subpar as the first two levels. I’ve googled and there are multiple people who have had this issue. I have a client who specializes in class action lawsuits. Has anyone else had this kind of issue and was harmed? I’m wondering if I should reach out to them for guidance. Account,system and services greyed out on app

Our router had been reset and I cannot now find my system neither can I access my account, system and services/voice on the app.  Phone or iPad app cannot find the system???????

Factory reset loop

Setting up new Five. Get to the point it is showing in system but unregistered. Try to register and get message must perform factory reset to register. perform factory reset. shows in system tab but unregistered. must perform factory reset in order to register. etc, etc, etc.

Sonos no longer connects to Orbi

After using an Orbi mesh network along with a Sonos network with a collection of both wired and wireless connections FOR YEARS, as of December 2023, my Sonos system informs me that I’m an idiot. Well, not exactly, but suddenly I can not use the Sonos network - not one component, not one attempt at using the “let’s fix it” prompt has worked after maybe 15+ attempts with unplugging & resetting Sonos components as well as Orbi routers, and even my Verizon modem (which has never been used as a router in my setup).I had updated my Orbi routers to the RBRE960 version from my older RBR50 system back in September 2023 - and not one hint of a problem since then.I am at my wit’s end as to how to correct this - tried to connect to both my primary Orbi network as well as the IoT “sub” network broadcast by Orbi.  Neither will connect.I have 50+ smart devices connected to this Orbi network, both wired and wireless, and cannot figure out why, after months of the new Orbi being online and working

pocketcasts and bbc podcasts no longer playing

Is anyone having problems with Pocketcasts on Sonos S2? I subscribe to a good number of different podcasts which were all working fine, but since this morning all BBC podcasts no longer play. I get the familiar error ‘the connection to the pod casts was lost’ I have tried re-authorising the account, also deleting account and setting up again but this has made no difference, The effected podcasts are available and working using Pocketcasts outwith Sonos.

Play 1 removal

Hi, I need to de-register my play 1 from the app, as they are linked to another account… long story, but I thinks its the only way to register again, tried the factory reset etc.. not working at all.. I can see the play1 on the app as NOT Registered.

Ho controllato le connessioni e ho verificato che tutti i dispositivi siano aggiornati, ma il problema persiste. Apple Music Playlists: We've Run Into a Problem

For the last week (at least) our Sonos system cannot access my Apple Music playlists. When I select playlists (or Recent) it says "We've run into a problem. Try again later." All other features of Apple Music appear to work including songs, albums, artists, etc. I've already reinstalled the app. I've reauthorized the Apple Music account. These did not work. Any idea? Also this is my first post but I've had a LOT of issues with Apple Music working with sonos over the past 2 years. It's been pretty bad and unreliable. ThanksGreg

Linking Sonos via Sonos App and Bluetooth

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I own an Era 300 and the speaker itself is amazing but I've run into an issue with using the Sonos app and Bluetooth at the same time. Basically I'm using another app called Homey which allows me to automate songs/sounds from the Sonos App and sync them with my smart lights.The purpose of this is for D&D to play sound effects for dramatic effect. The feature by itself works perfectly fine.However, I have my phone connected via Bluetooth to play background music on a dynamic music app for D&D which also works fine by itself.The issue I'm running into is that when I use Homey to play a sound, it cuts out the Bluetooth music to play the sound and then doesn't go back to the Bluetooth source afterwards. What I'm looking for is a solution that ideally allows both sources to play at the same time so that the Sonos app doesn't block out the Bluetooth music. Or at least allows the Bluetooth music to play back via the speaker once the Sonos app

Considering a move to sonos

I am looking for recommendations for a new sonos setup for my man cave. I’m using an Arc theater setup via 4k fire stick with a Wemax laser 4k projector. The setup has performed excellently for the past four months. Suddenly the theater speaker setup is no longer responding to this configuration. Sonos speakers will still continue to pair as normal to all other devices through the home

Sonos Beam sound cuts out intermittently

Hi there,I’m having an issue where my brand new Sonos beam will cut audio for a split second and return, like a pop, consistently whilst watching TV. The video doesn’t freeze frame or indicate that there is anything wrong with the stream or our internet  I’ve replaced the HDMI cable but that hasn’t helped.  I’ve seen other posts that seem to be discussing the same problem where no real solution is presented, if any exist I’d appreciate a link, if not is there anything I can do to solve this problem as it’s very frustrating.

Sonos Beam behind TV in Niche

I would like to have the option to run our Samsung Frame TV sound through our Sonos ceiling speakers/Play 5. Our Sonos ceiling speakers are set up via amps in the basement and I zero technical ability, trying to hard wire anything is out of the question for me. Is it absolutely ridiculous to get a Sonos Beam and put it in the niche behind our Samsung Frame TV to allow me to set up the sound to come through the speakers? Will the Sonos Beam be totally useless behind the TV (I could in theory pull the TV away from the wall if I want to hear the sound a bit)? I cannot find any other work arounds for what I am hoping to do.

New Asus RT-AX82U/AX5400 Router Sonos System Not Showing Any Recommendations?

Background:Family Room: AMP w/Sonos ONE (pair as surrounds)Backyard: Connect(gen2)Asus RT-AX82U/AX5400 RouterAfter installing new router and updating the wifi settings, the Sonos App (S2) does one of the following: 1) stays grey and doesn’t show up 2) only shows the Connect 3) Works perfectly for 3-5 seconds and then the system dissapears.I've gone in and adjusted the router settings as recommended in various help sections, turned off the auto-priority/QoS settings in the router, updated the channel to Ch6 within the 2.4 channel, did the whole direct plug ethernet cord into the amp, and ONE speaker to update the wifi information directly as recommended. Also rebooted all sonos products.The only thing working right now is the family room because it feeds audio in from the TV.Any recommendations or links would be helpful...spent the last few days becoming a fake fix-it dude. Thanks!

Sonos Move blinking white light, won’t factory reset

Sorry if this was asked before! Sonos Move with blinking white light, held the power button down till it turn off, then did a factory reset, still same white light blinking non stop! Appreciate the help!
