Hi,im new here so please be gentleI have had Sonos for many years of trouble free listening. After years of trying to fiddle together easy to use consistent multi room audio I had found the holy grail. But something has changed I now regularly get the “products not found” message and the only way I have found to fix it is to spend a morning going round my 11 products unplugging them all before resetting them 1 by 1 so that they work perfectly again until maybe one month or maybe three months later I have to dance the same sorry dance once more. This isn’t what I bought intoThis wasn’t the dream I was soldSonos was one of the first companies that had tech that worked like Apple Please help is there a way I can fix this long term so that it all works againThanks in advance Martin
This is my living room in the picture. I want to find out if the sonos Arc with a pair of aera 300s mounted high to the edge of the vaulted ceiling behind the couch, shown in red, will produce the immersive sound
I just bought a pair of era 300s and I need some song suggestions for a skeptical wife :-) We’re in our 60s and like yacht rock, female vocalist like Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Norah Jones, etc. The Beatles, Adele, Jason Mraz, etc. any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks
Jeg bliver bedt om at logge ud og ind lige meget hvad jeg trykker på når jeg vil tilføje en højttaler (Sonos one) gør den det igen og igen og igen HJÆLP!!
It’s become impossible to listen to Spotify or Apple Music through Sonos. I have 15 Sonos speakers throughout my house and I’d really like a solution here that’s not to restart/refresh my network. I Work in IT so I know the “quick fixes” I’ve read on these forums. Thank you
Sonos 1 System - 2x Sonos 1’s (2 gen), ZP100, Connect OS.S1, Play 3 & Play 5.Sonos System - 2x Era 100’s.My Play 3 & Play 5 lost power within 3 weeks of each other (Trying to find someone to repair them but having no luck.)I decided to invest in two Era 100’s. Unfortunately I mistakenly thought I could get all of the above to link together. Although I have read on the forum that I could get the Sonos 1’s to integrate the with the Era’s via the Sonos app.I successfully set up the Sonos app on my ipad/iphone and connected with my Era’s and my Apple Music, Napster etc. I then wanted to gain access to the music on my Windows PC and Synology server drives as I do with the Sonos 1 App. However, I could not access the drives via my ipad/iphone and realised that I would need to do this via my PC by uploading the Sonos app.Sonos App installed successfully but despite many attempts I cannot get my PC app to connect to the ERA speakers over the wifi. It says “Not Connected”. I have ho
Recently my Sonos system won't play music from my Prime music account and reports that my subscription is expired. However I can switch over directly to Prime and play music so the account and service are working, it is just Sonos that can't access it even though I have streamed to my Sonos for months from this account.
Why is Sonos so slow ?It takes a long time before the app finds the music in a room.also when turning music on and off it frequently does not respond at all.Hope you have a solution.thanks and best regards,Constantiijn
After my upgrade from Arc + Sub + 2 Play1 to Arc ultra+Sub+2 Era 100 I don‘t have rear and sub sound anymore. I see the HT system / all components in the app, but it doesn‘t work. TV set is from Samsung, Any ideas ;-)?
When I log into my account and I go to settings I see the speaker 300 and I click on it and it says you have to login out then in. Which I have done many times and it just won’t work. I just want to add my new speaker to my account and play music, why do you make this simple task so complicated. very poor.
The Something Went Wrong error has returned. Deleting Amazon Music and reinstalling works for maybe a day, and we’re right back here. All other streaming services work fine. And, yes, I’ve rebooted and restarted everything.
Hello, I have just bought a nice home cinema with Sonos Beam, Sub, and 2 One . I would like to add a Turntable that could connect easily (in Wifi or Bluetooth) and I’m looking for a high quality product. What are the products fully compatible with my homecinema? I already understand that I need a turntable with pre amp. Looking forward t oget your recommandations. Eric
After spending two days fighting with this system, I FINALLY got the CONNECT to work with the system. (I run a CD changer through it -- yes, I’m old.)After multiple resets, upgrades, cable swapping, you name it, everything seems to work properly now.EXCEPT: The CONNECT’s “Line In” does not show up as a music source on the phone app. It’s really annoying to have to fire up the laptop and run the desktop app for Windows just to change input sources for the system.ANY AND ALL help will be most appreciated.
Hello Sonos Community, I currently have 2 Era 100s, a Beam Gen 2, and a Sub Mini. At the moment, they are connected in a home theater setup, with the Era 100s positioned to the sides of the sofa, as the sofa is against the wall.My question is whether the Era 100s are wasted in this setup. Would it be better to use them as a stereo setup for listening to music instead? And if I were to go for the stereo setup, would the Sub Mini be better placed with the stereo setup, or should it stay with the Beam Gen 2? Best regards
I have a Samsung frame TV mounted about my fireplace and the size of the TV, mantel and wood trim around the ceiling doesn't allow me to mount a sound bar under the TV. I have two built in book cases beside the TV and the Sound bar is currently sitting on the left book case and I have two 100s behind the couch for surround and a Sub in the corner. I am looking for suggestions for a more balanced sound in my living room. Does anyone know if you can connect a sound bar to the TV and a add a second sound bar to sit on the right book case. I originally ordered an amp to connect to the TV and planned to place two Sonos 5s in the book case but I was told I needed the AMP with two hard wired speakers which my set up doesn't really allow. I know I could pay a professional to come in and run wires through the wall but I am hoping to avoid that.Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciate.
Hi, I recently purchased a Sonos Arc Ultra, a Sonos sub-mini, and two Sonos Era 300 speakers. Although I purchased them together, I had to wait for the Eras to be delivered. I set up the Arc with the sub during that time, and it all sounded fantastic. I was really looking forward to the Eras arriving so I could set it all up as a Dolby Atmos sound surround system, obviously all in the same room. I have followed as many guides as possible regarding setting it up. I realize that I must be watching films and music that support Dolby Atmos, I stream music from Spotify and Amazon Music, as I was looking forward to listening to music with this complete music system. I listen to music all day, so it is important for me. Here's what I don't understand and need help. When playing music from Sonos radio it comes out of all the speakers front and back. However, when I play through Spotify or Amazon Music I can barely hear a thing from the rear speakers. And when watching a football game last n
Hi,I am experiencing issues with my Sonos Era 100. When I connect it via Bluetooth to my LG C3 TV, there is a noticeable delay in the audio. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for your help.
I can’t reactivate the Sonos rradio
When asked to turn on the 'reading light' (a smart bulb) Alexa from the Sonos Beam responds with "what setting?" If given a setting the Sonos Beam then changes it's volume to that setting. If this command is given to any other Alexa device the light works normally. This also used to work fine.I've tried a factory reset and reconnected Alexa several times to no avail.
Hi, I am just trying to understand how the WiFi setup works when sonos is on home theatre mode. I have an Arc, sub gen 3 and 2 era 300s.When first set up the were all showing as separate speakers on my WiFi network. Now that I have set up the home theatre the Eras are showing as offline, I assumed as the Arc is doing the connection to the router. The sub is still showing up as a separate speaker on the WiFi hub, even though it is part of the home theatre. Is this normal?Strange thing is that the eras, when they were separate showed as connected by ethernet even though they were not.The Arc is showing up as on 2.4ghz band but the sub is showing as 6ghz (even though I thought 6 was not in the spec).I am just wondering if this is all as it should be. It seems strange that the sub is still separate.
Playbar won’t connect to my Sonos App. My wifi crashed. I was able to reconnect with the speakers and the sub but I can’t get the Playbar to recognize the app.
So I just ran some tests on my Ultra, gen3 subs, era 300 (surrounds) system. I’m getting what’s supposed to be rear surround audio out of the height driver on the Era 300s. I am getting height audio out of the height driver but I’m also getting rear surround audio out of it too. I used an Atmos Test app on my Apple TV 4K. Anyone else seeing (hearing) this as well when 300s are being used as surround speakers? Has Sonos addressed this anywhere?
Sonos arc ultra - losing soundHello, I replaced an old playbar that never failed with a Sonos Arc Ultra. My new current settings:Sonos arc ultra TV sony xf9005Apple TV 4K first generationConnection Sonos arc to tv - hdmi ARC, Apple TV to Sony TV - hdmi cecUnfortunately, this is the beginning of my problems. As I change the channel there are no sound. Then I change the channel again and the sound comes back. When I pause what I’m watching it loses sounds when I resume. Sometimes help me pause and play again and sometimes i must restart movie. I have reset the system, unplugged, changing hdmi cable, update firmware etc... (all recommended things by sonos chatbot)I contacted sonos support with chat and they told me that the problem is known and caused by the last update and that it should be fixed but they don't know when.I am very disappointed, I wanted to enjoy the new equipment and not wait for an update that will come who knows when.
Hi.I have an old Thorens TD 150 MkII Turntable and would like to connect it to two Sonos Play:5 (Get 2) speaks (and a Gen 3 sub).As the turntable has no preamp, I’ll need one. And I wondered if anyone could recommend something that would definitely work (available in the UK)?Also, I’d be interested to know from anyone that connected a vintage turntable what the sound quality was like? Thanks
HelloJust wanted to pass along my impression of the Sonos App (fka S2) seven (7) months later. Before I continue let’s get this said and out of the way…The initial Sonos App release in May 2024 caused a significant amount of pain and anguish for many loyal Sonos customers. It most likely cost Sonos new customers as well. 🤔I’m sure you can find many threads in this community attesting to the debacle Sonos brought upon themselves by releasing an unfinished product. It’s going to take time for Sonos to regain the complete trust and confidence of its customer base (as well as attract new customers) regarding their commitment to provide an outstanding product in both hardware and software.Having acknowledged the above I can say unequivocally that the Sonos App; TODAY is performing as well as its predecessor and brought along some welcome improvements. I have installed three (3) Arc Ultras with subs and surrounds using Era 100’s or 300’s without incident. I have used Advanced Trueplay on al
