I have quite a few playlists saved in the Sonos app. Most include tracks I searched and saved from Napster to my Sonos playlist. A few days ago, none of those tracks would play. An error message ‘lost connection to Napster’ would pop up and every Napster-derived track would be skipped over until the Sonos app reached a track sourced from a different streaming service. I did the usual stuff — cut the Napster connection, rebooted everything, reauthorized Napster, yadda yadda.Nothing worked. I reached out to Napster. Here’s what I got back:”Hello, We understand how frustrating it must be to discover that playlists you’ve carefully built over time are no longer accessible. Those collections matter, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption this has caused.Napster is currently undergoing a significant transition. As part of this change, our traditional music catalog is no longer available. Unfortunately, this means that the saved artists, albums, and songs in your playlists have been r
Since the new software update last month I can’t airplay from my iPhone to any of my Sonos speakers. Play a track, select airply options and the speakers are all showing, once you click on a speaker, the tick comes up but no music plays. after 3-5 seconds it times out and starts playing out of my iPhone speaker again. This is the same wether it’s Apple Music app, YouTube, whatever. So it isn’t a 3rd party app issue. Sonos is up to date on software updates and network updates. and yes, everything has been turned off and back on for a reset :)The Sonos app works fine and plays. speakers work fine with TV and also from my wifes Samsung phone she can play to any speaker, so it has to be an apple to Sonos connectivity issue specifically via airplay. Any ideas??
I have a Play 5 that is connected to AT-LP60X turntable. For several years this has worked flawlessly. We noticed earlier this year that the records had a warble sound. Almost sounded like the music was under water. It was in the spring time and we got busy with summer activities. Now that it is cold and we want to listen to our music we are noticing it again. We changed out the needle and tested the speed of the turntable. All was good. Finally we hooked up some headphones to the turntable and the sound was flawless. I tried some online recommendations and it really seems like an issue with the audio compression setting being removed from the Sonos application. If I reset the speaker, or change the EQ settings. The sound goes back to normal and the distortion is gone, but it will come back usually around 10-15 minutes later. Supposedly this was an issue with the app update that was fixed. It appears to still be an issue for me. It is VERY frustrating to have invested so much into a
I have a Sonos TV system consisting of an Arc soundbar (wired), a subwoofer, and two Era300 speakers with Asus ZenWifi XD6 communications. The sound from the speakers is extremely choppy. It's impossible to hear the music. I previously had Sonos Ones instead of the Era300s, and I changed them to see if it was a hardware issue, but it wasn't. Now it's even worse. It stutters much more than before. I've tried everything: turning off the router, waiting two minutes, reinstalling the entire system. Even the recommendations given by IA: Disable Airtime Fairness, Disable QoS, Disable Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), …The Asus mesh system (one node on the same TV room) works great. Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Just bought a move (2nd hand). Never been used, sellers information. The speaker will not charge. Keep switching between fast twinkling red light and slower orange lights. Any idea? Anyone?
Hello, ever since the app update, I have been unable to create a room group without the playback stopping. Usually, I start listening in one room, then decide I want the playback in the full apartment so I attempt to add a room to the group. Every time, it stops the playback. Sometimes I completely lose the content I was playing and have to restart everything from the beginning. This happens no matter what service I am streaming from (usually spotify), and whether I create the group in the Sonos iOS or Mac app. So incredibly frustrating.
I have a Port and a a pair of Play 3 as a stereo pair. Every time I stream music from iTunes I have to do the dance of remember in the Sonos App how to get the Port to play to the Play 3’s - can I configure the Port to always auto pair with the Stereo pai?
I had two play 3 speakers in my “Living Room” set up with surround sound. For some reason one speaker disconnected from the system and I reconnected it HOWEVER it did not go back to “Living Room” it created a new location “Living Room 2”. Now neither speaker talks to each other to create surround sound. How do I move the speaker to the “Living Room” zone and then reset both so they create surround sound. I tried unplugging and rebooting the speaker however every time I attempt to drop it in the existing “Living Room” grouping it goes back into “Living Room 2”. I tried several times and am toast.

After setting up my arc ultra 2x era300 and sub should it look like this in app
Many of my friends and I have noticed that as of now (updated Sonos app and firmware), Relisten will NOT automatically advance tracks when used as a streaming service within the Sonos App. This is quite cumbersome for listing to concerts. Please advise.
Hi,I have a Sonos Arc which I already had voice assistant setup with Amazon Alexa. I received an email from Amazon, “Reconnect Alexa on your Sonos speaker.” I followed the directions from the email which I provided below to reconnect Amazon Alex to my Sonos Arc but it has been unsuccessful and I have been having issues.I followed the below directions but the first issue that I am having is in the Sonos App after I removed “Amazon Alex” in the “Voice Assistant” and tried to re-add it I get a new window that pops up, “Control Sonos with Amazon Alexa.” I followed the directions in the article, “Set up Amazon Alexa with a voice-enabled Sonos speaker.” But the problem is that after I click on Voice Assistants and then choose Amazon Alexa. It does not give me an option to choose my Sonos Arc and instead a quick help box shows up, “Control Sonos with Amazon Alexa.” I have provided a screenshot for reference.I tried searching online and the Sonos community on how to troubleshoot this but I hav
I got a new router. I’ve managed to set up my newer products (beam, sub etc) using the Sonos app and WiFi. However I just can’t get the play 5 gen 1 to connect. I’ve followed everything on the S1 app. Connecting over WiFi it stalls after “join Sonos network”. connecting with Ethernet cable it stalls on “hear the chime”. The play 5 chimes but the app doesn’t recognise it. it was working fine on my previous virgin wifi, but just can’t get it going on new Vodafone power hub. The hub output seems to be 2.4hz. please can anyone help?
Can someone with Sonos explain to me why I cannot play more than 3 speakers at once without my music jumping from speaker to speaker. This is constant, and never ending. I’ve spent tons of money over the years to outfit my home with 10 speakers, including a Sonos Move. They have NEVER, EVER, worked properly. I have asked for advise on more than one occasion and have gotten nothing but “it’s my wi-fi”. I have reset all my speakers more than once; I have unplugged each one and readded them, and just two days ago I deleted my entire system and created a whole new account and added each speaker back. None of this has worked. Not only does the music jump from speaker to speaker, but no song finishes to the end before the next song kicks in. Though I am completely done with this trash company, I am stuck with what I have and would like it to work correctly. It would be nice to know if anyone else is experiencing these issues.

Hi,I can connect with Radio France services such as France Inter or Franceinfo, but it doesn’t work with France Musique and FIP.Please can you help ?
I have an ARC and Sub 3 in my living room. My wife and I purchased it to maximize vocal clarity for TV and movie viewing. Plus, I purchased it to enhance action movie viewing. If I purchased 2 ERA 100s and used as back surround speakers, will these speakers improve or retard vocal clarity? I can’t afford the expense of ERA 300s at this point.
Following up on this thread - @Corry P - Any update here?My kids don’t have phones / the sonos app, but they want to listen to their own music in their own rooms. Considering getting them each an era 100 for their rooms so they listen using voice control.I like that SVC processes voices locallyI dont want to set up Alexa or google voice.reviewing that thread above I see there’s limitations using SVC streaming different songs to different speakers using spotify, wondering if that’s been solved? Might it behave differently with Apple music?Has this limitation of SVC been addressed?
I have a new Samsung TV that does not have an optical out but does have an HDMI earc. How do I connect the audio?
Hello,I have a Panasonic tv with Arc hdmi but not eARC one and I mainly use the Amazon Firestick 4k plugged into my tv to see movies. Is there any way to enjoy the sound quality of Dolby atmos movies with my Sonos arc ultra with this configuration ? Best,Xavkyo
I have a stereo pair of legacy Sonos One SL’s in a room called “Computer Room”. I cannot use Sonos voice control to control those speakers from other rooms in my house that have voice control enabled Sonos speakers and soundbars. I've tried changing the room name but still no luck. I have no trouble controlling the other rooms remotely. This should work. I am running with the latest firmware update on all speakers 92.0-71170. Any ideas?
Hi everyone, for the past couple of months I’ve been experiencing a strange issue with my Sonos One with Alexa built in. It looks like Alexa has automatically enabled Follow-Up Mode (the mode where, after a command, it chimes again and keeps listening without saying the wake word). The problem is that there is no option to enable or disable Follow-Up Mode on the Sonos One, and I never turned it on.This is what happens:after giving any command, Alexa plays the chime again and stays in listening mode, as if waiting for a second command.I’ve tried everything:• Factory reset of the Sonos One• Resetting the Alexa app• Removing and re-adding the device• Various reboots, network resets, etc.Nothing worked.Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?It’s getting really annoying because it keeps listening after every command. Thanks!
The app is on Iphone. Pretty sure it never used to do this.
… and yes I have reinstalled the whole system and yes it’s all on one wi-fi network. It’s better than it was a year ago, but it still poops the bed regularly. Is it going to get any better, or is this Sonos now?
If I change the audio and playback settings in the Android tidal app does that also change the bitrate of Sonos playback when using Tidal connect? My understanding is that it doesn't and that Sonos will use the highest bitrate file available for the Tidal subscription being used; but as for some bizarre and unhelpful reason Sonos S1 (does S2 still do this?) keeps the bitrate of a playing track a secret, it's hard to know for sure? Anyone know the answer to this?
