anyone used the 100 as computer speakers? how bad is the lag with zoom or watching videos?
I think I must be being thick… but how do I play BBC sounds output from history, ie any BBC Sounds material other than live radio? It’s trivial on the web - you just pick what you want from the schedule - but I can’t find the schedule in any of my Sonos apps. Please point out where I’m being stupid, please.
In hopes of saving someone hours of their time - got 2 new routers this weekend. The router supplied by Spectrum is called Sagecom. Everything at home connected to it except my paired sonos one speakers. It turns out that Sagecom broadcasts 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz but you cannot select one or the other. Apparently Sonos one speakers need 2.4 ghz and therefore this router is not compatible. I bought a Netgear Nighthawk AX2400 (RAX30) router to replace the Sagecom. Still couldn’t get the sonos app to connect to the wifi. Spent 1.5 hrs on phone with Spectrum’s technical support and made many changes to router’s settings (unclick AX functionality, select 2.4 ghz, select channel 11 instead of auto, security encryption change, others). However, nothing changed. I did a factory settings reset on the 2 sonos one speakers and then returned to sonos app and created a new system and location. It found the speakers and then sonos was able to log on to the new wifi SSID. What an ordeal! I don’
I preordered the Sonos Era 300 (2x) hoping that they will be here before the store availability date. My preorders have still not been shipped. It does not make sense that people who have preordered get their stuff last. I could have waited and walk into Bestbuy on 3/28/2023 and get the speakers that same day. I will never preorder with Sonos. It doesn’t make sense.
I need help to connect my sonos port to my denon amp with RCA cable to play FM from my amp I am not possible to do it need any one who can help
This problem has been around for over two years! I haven’t seen it in a while but suddenly it came back like a bad cold. a full reset of my 4 zone system did not fix it. Sonos products are basically overpriced and with that comes an understanding that they’re worth it. Little annoying issues like this erode our confidence in the product
Hi,My television in the kitchen is connected to my Sonos amp via HDMI ARC. I have 4 ceiling speakers connected to the amp. We used to be able to control the volume of the TV coming out of the ceiling speakers using the TV remote (TCL 6 Series), as well as with the Sonos app on our phones. But now, we can only control the volume using the Sonos iphone app. Adjusting the volume through the TV remote only affects the volume on the TV and it doesn’t effect the volume coming out of the 4 ceiling speakers anymore (I.E., the TV remote volume is disconnected from the Sonos Amp). Does anybody know what could be wrong or have suggestions for help? Thanks,John
Hi!Which TV in terms of compatibility is best match for Arc? Thank youNeven
I am currently working in Pakistan - using my two ROAM speakers to provide my entertainment. They had been working for the first year and a half without issue. Then, last year I noticed that one ROAM would not charge above 94%. A rather long series of chat session with Sonos tech team can to the concluding that the battery was not apparently taking the charge. But, the second ROAM was having no issue. As of today, the first ROAM will not power on at all and the second ROAM is limiting its charge to 93%. I fear that I am about to retreat to silence… I have been using the magnetic wireless charger bases that are sold by Sonos. Thinking this may have been the issue, I changed to using the USB-C cord direct from a charging brick that is plugged in a wall socket.I was wondering if others have encountered this issue? I read through number of threads that seemed similar and have not seen any solution. I cannot even “reset” the device by holding the power button for the 12-seconds recommended
Hi all, I operate a yoga studio that is ~2200 SF and have six Play:1 speakers throughout the space. It’s a relatively open space with some concrete support walls down the middle. We’ve been having a HELL of a time with our Sonos system and I’m tempted to replace the whole system with something that is reliable! But before that, I’m giving it one last effort to see if there’s something I’m just not seeing. Here is what’s happening:Speakers drop out sporadically -- all of them at different times, usually for 20-30 seconds at a time. They seem to take turns dropping out. Sometimes two at a time will drop, but usually it’s just one :) Not all speakers kick on when we hit “play.” While teaching, I’ll hit “play” and it will often be 30 seconds before the speakers in the studio actually start playing. The music is playing on the other speakers in the space, so the song is starting abruptly. We frequently receive “the connection to Spotify was lost” messages, and entire songs will skip, or e
Hi all,I’ve started experiencing issue with my Sonos speaker. This is a new issue, I’ve first noticed it on Tuesday, and my own trouble shooting (Even resetting the device fully), and help from support hasn’t fixed this. The speaker will play for 2-10 minutes, after that it will stop playing music, not be available to connect to, and offline according to the sonos app. Sonos app still shows that the music is playing. The device also shows as still connected to my network (Checking through router). Sometimes (1 out of 5 times) the speaker will then start playing my music after an hour or so, and the only way to stop it is to press the play pause button on the speaker. I’m absolutely lost on what else to check, I’ve gone as far as to reset my router, checked all DNS settings I could think of, even hard wired the speaker… Nothing seems to fix it. I’ve played it from 3 different devices, asked my friends and family to play from their speakers, and tried using a different wifi in a separate
Does anyone know if there’s a black power cord for the Symphonix picture frame?

My Sonos system refuses to add spotify play lists to queue. Sono’s blames spotify, spotify blames Sonos. They both blame network. Has anyone been succesfull with Sono’s playing shared spotify playlists that are over 2000 songs?
Bonjour, depuis quelques jour je ne peux plus faire glisser mes playlist Amazon dans l’application Sonos. comment cela ce fait ?
I was repainting a room in my house and decided to move my Sonos One SL that has been sitting there for about 8 months, never really moved it before. As I lift it up, ants come swarming out from under the bottom of the speaker. I’m completely shocked and have no clue what to do. Do I put it in the freezer in a bag? Do I spray insecticide on it? I don’t know what to do that doesn’t destroy the speaker. I looked this issue up and it seems like a common problem as well.
I have a Roam SL and 2 Play:1 speakers. All are correctly registered in the S2 app. I can freely group all speakers together in WiFi. The issue arrises when I stream music to the Roam over Bluetooth and then try to group with one of the other Play:1's. On the first attempt it works fine but then if I ingroup and then group again no sound comes from the Play:1, still plays on the Roam. The app shows the Play:1 as grouped and playing. If I power cycle the Play:1 and then regroup, it works again but the same happens if I ingroup. Correction: I now get the same issue when connected over WiFi, was probably like that all along. So looks like the Roam groups the first time okay, after that not, either if on Bluetooth or not. Othe speakers group okay.Extra: just found that the same thing happens after pausing playback, the Play:1 does not resume sound but the Roam does, still grouped on the app.
The model where Sonos pushes updates, and then all their customers get to then not pay for the speakers and amps, WE also GET TO WORK FOR FREE FOR SONOS got to stop. We get to endlessly restart and spend hours trying to send enough feedback to Sonos so they can eventually fix their product. It HAS got TO STOP. i deeply regret being a loyal customer.
I have updated the Sonos app on my Samsung phone to version 15.1 and, despite spending > 6 hours trying to fix it, my Sonos system is now un-usable. My Play:1’s won't connect to my Beam and won't reconnect to the Sonos app unless I reset them and create a new account without my Beam.I have tried using wifi and ethernet cables (at different times) but nothing helps. I have also used the PC version of the Sonos app but got error 1101 when the update failed. The Sonos app says my Sonos system must be updated but also says the app must be updated first. But my app is already the latest version (15.1). So I can't update my app (already the latest version) or system, and my system won't work properly without being updated. Many functions are greyed out in the app and, as already mentioned, I can't add back my Play:1 speakers which I reset to try to fix the problem (without success). So my system is un-usable junk.Despite the Sonos app being version 15.1, it shows my Beam as being version
Seen this on ebay. Is this right? was looking to buy one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295571843645
I couldn’t make my outdoor patio Sonance Mariner 64 speakers play audio from outdoor Samsung TV with Sonos Amp located in the house. I tried J-Tech and many other extenders and received an error code on the Sonos App that CEC was not working. Setup: Samsung 75” TV HDMI ARC out to HDMI receiver extender, Cat 6 out of extender to transmitter in house next to Sonos amp, HDMI out of transmitters to Sonos amp. Also had bidirectional IR to control volume through Directv remote. Solution: ARC HDMI Extender 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 HDR10 Over Cat5e/6/6a/7 Cable, Audio Return Channel, S/PDIF Audio Pass Through, HDMI 2.0, HDCP2.2, CEC, PoE & Dual IR, RS232, Atmos & DTS:X https://a.co/d/c8X1IBN
I am a new owner of Beam gen2. I have connected the Beam to my Samsung the Frame and apple tv 4k. When I look at Netflix and a film supporting Atmos, I can see in the Sonos app that I have Dolby Atmos. But when I look at a film with DD 5.1 I can see in the Sonos app stereo pcm 2.0. What is wrong with my settings?
Why do I have to search for my BEAM every damn day???
I have read countless threads about Sonos speakers not connecting using Airplay (on iPad) with the usual response of restart, reset …. ad nauseum… I reset everything, works for a short time and then, right in the middle of a playlist… DEAD. Is there any real fix to this? I have 4 SL 1 speakers and the ARC soundbar. and this is really getting tiresome but before I leave a bad review, I’d like to get some feedback.
