1. The hardware is high quality2. The design aesthetics are excellent3. Sound quality is very good to excellent4. New app is flaky and looks amateurish (android) BUT there are acceptable substitutes5. Comparable alternatives are expensive & subject to same proprietary whims & errors6. Sonos has the largest list of music services (compared to competitors) Carry on 😁
Updated to 80.00. Can’t connect to my system (1 Play:1 two Play:3 in stereo; Boost; iPhone 15; iPad pro). Resetted everything and reinstalling. Initially worked, but after a while couldn’t connect anymore. Very disappointed. My system can’t play now.
Since the 15.2 release there is quite a few songs that display this error when trying to play them. These seem to be mainly songs that are not lossless. They were purchased over time from Apple Music. They will still play if I use the Apple Music app, but they will no longer play from Sonos app. I suspect some lossy codex broke with latest release. Occurs with all my Sonos products. Is this a known issue?
I got an email saying that fixes to the new app, or a completely new app, would be available today. Where is it? How do I get it? I’ve been on Apple’s App Store and all I can find the new crap app.
I have a Google Mesh setup and never had a problem with it with Sonos (I know all the stories about the bands) . Update new app and it keeps dumping my system. Support blames the mesh and it's band with choosing. I mention I have a Boost I never installed but saw it wasn't working with the new app. Move to an hour later and a new update lists fixing issues eith the Boost. Open the box, start the install. After it sees the Boost, it tells me to disconnect the ethernet cable to start the next step. When I do that, it just shoots back to the settings page. Have tried two dozen times and the exact same thing each time. Anyone else know how to get around this?
Sonos speakers disappeared/lost connection with the latest iPhone update. our iphones cannot connect to any of our speakers anymore.
Has anyone yet managed to get there Sonos sub mini to either connect or assign to the system after todays update I’ve reset mine yet again got it registered not like last time however I’m still not able to assign it to my pair off speakers still says it’s make sure it’s connected to Newark or powered on why hasn’t this been fixed?????? been two weeks now & Sonos is taking the p🤬ss
Has anyone else had this issue? I have two Beam Gen 1s that have been working fine for a couple years. I use them on computer monitors which do not have ARC, only 3.5mm out, which I’ve been converting to optical and using the included Optical to HDMI converter to get the monitor out to the Beams. I got a new remote and wanted to set it up to control the volume on the Beam, I was forced to update the app and beam in order to set this up, which I am now regretting. It took several hours to get the update to finally apply to the beam without it disconnecting. I did finally get it set up on the new system and was able to go through the TV set up like normal. The issue now is the beam refuses to play with the optical input. Nothing else in the system has changed. I moved the unupdated Beam into the same room and plugged it in to the same setup, and it plays without an issue, it’s only the updated beam that won’t play. During the TV setup when I select optical, it tries to detect the signal f
Splitting off a thread for the new Web App in an effort to separate feedback from the ‘announcement’ thread that is justifiably dominated by mobile app feedback.First and foremost, thank goodness the Windows (and Mac?) Desktop Apps still work! That allows us to use (okay, attempt to use) the new web app without going completely ballistic.I’ll start with something nice to say: it’s amazing that the Web App works, being quite an architectural departure from anything before. It picked up my local library and played music AOK on my first go.QUESTION: has anyone seen album art from their local library display in the Web App? I’ve not seen any such album art display, be it albums in Sonos Favorites or navigating through Your Sources > Music Library > Albums or zooming down to a single album or ‘now playing’. Using a streaming service, all of those methods display album art so the functionality is kinda sorta there. And yes, I’ve waited a full 90 minutes for something to happen.I’ve rea
Bonjour Dans la nouvelle version de l appli.Où se trouve nos listes de lecture que l on a complété depuis des années ? Moderator Note - Translation by Google:Good morning In the new version of the app.Where are our playlists that we have completed over the years?
I have been waiting years for a set of Sonos headphones.Unfortunately the new headphones do not help in any way. I wanted some that would connect to Wi-fi and allow me to stream my music from my NAS via the Sonos app so that I can be in the same room as my family but not disturb their TV watching etc.the new headphones are no better in this respect than any other set of Bluetooth headphones and they are not cheap. I would have paid for the quality but not without the connectivity I need.as I said in the subject line, a total waste of an opportunity.

Sonos are now censoring posts on the topic of the headphone release stating that posts are off-topic.The comments so far are along the lines of “I will not buy these until the app is fixed”Nothing offensive (ie effing and jeffing) in the comments, yet they still are censoring feedback.Shame they do not spend as much time beta testing their app code as they do on censoring customers.
In the old app if I had found a song via search, I could then directly tap for the album info / track listing to see the rest of the album it came from.I can’t find a way to do this in the new app, without starting a whole new search for artist etc.Am I missing something or has this been removed?
Following the most recent Sonos controller update this week, i cannot find the alarm setting anymore. It is a little annoying as the programmed alarms continue to go on in the morning early even if i do not need them!!anyone found the alarm setting tab/ control??

This feature actually works! Well done 😜
The new version of Sonos app doesn't have an option available to shuffle My Songs or Playlists using Pandora. The old version of Sonos did. Anyone have this experience or know how to find shuffle on Pandora?
Trueplay won’t work for me. Its stuck on the final menu before the tones are played.
Let's see if I can explain to management: I just want to play music on two speakers. All I need is a Toyota Corolla to go to the cleaners and pick up my laundry, and you are trying to give me an F35 vertical-takeoff fighter jet (armed with tactical nuclear weapons) to do that. So sure, if I learn to fly the darned thing I can use it to go get my laundry, but all I really need is a Toyota Corolla. Besides, you cannot actually give me the fighter jet, because that is an incredibly complex piece of machinery and you just can not get it right.I suspect that 90% of Sonos users are like me.So, what would a sensible company do?They would issue two apps: "Sonos Basic" and "Sonos Advanced". The first app (the Toyota Corolla) would be a simple, solid, bug-free workhorse for users like me. The second app (the F35) would have all the bells and whistle (and bugs) of the world, and would be designed for users with far more complex Sonos systems than the average Joe.And then users would chose which ap

Moderator Edit - Translation by Google and Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct:Good morning, not only did I not ask for anything, but since these new versions A CATASTROPHE in terms of operation. Unable to find my qobuz lists, application malfunction, forced to close and re-open to remove unwanted page openings on the screen etc. etc.The old version was very good and worked The software is not up to the sound quality of the player
I made the mistake of upgrading the app on my iPad as prompted it’s pretty rubbish. To be honest you will not be able to access your local NAS and if you have a port, the line input will disappear. The only thing that seems to work are subscription streaming services, shame on Sonos for this much awaited and highly publicised upgradeI don’t know who did his acceptance testing on this app, or what set up they had, but I imagine will not work for most of you
I just purchased a brand new Sonos receiver and the Sonos App does not work. It is a revolving loop of signing in, and the application was deleted, reinstalled, the WiFi is over 600bps. The tech company, which is a Sonos dealer, said it is not the Sonos system, it is the app. The speakers work though the new amp with individual streaming services, but not with the Sonos app. Also, my Sonos Soundbar will not hook up by bluetooth to the Sonos App either. When will the new Sonos App be fixed?
