HeyTrying to see if someone has this problem, or even better if someone can figure out how to solve it.I have a few podcast apps connected to Sonos, mainly using pocket casts and stitcher. I have noticed that when I add a new podcast show to the app (I.e. Pocket Casts) quite often I cannot see that show from the Sonos app. Sometimes it fixes itself after a few hours, but sometimes it doesn't, and I'm therefore unable to play that show via Sonos. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give a hand.
This has been another major issue for us with little to no official remedy from Sonos.Homekit requires this back end update for certain accessories and is in current IOS (non-beta) software. Sonos’ only suggestion is resetting all speakers and re-adding (major timesink) which we’ve done twice, only to have the issue return. Any help from the team or ETA on a fix?
So, I have already posted something similar to this under the impression it was a glitch in the Android UI after update 15.1 but would now like to alter from “ranty” status to “requesty” status. Original thread can be seen here...Now, I firmly believe that this “feature” is a great idea poorly implemented. As someone who views their music library by folder, I can TOTALLY understand the desire to fast-scroll back to the top of a list. What I cannot understand, or even think that people would find at ALL useful is the “back” button performing dual functions. If I press “back”, I want to return to my previous position in the previous list and NOT auto-scroll to the top as well.Would it be so difficult to implement a toggle in settings that decides what function this button performs instead of deciding for us how we should view our collections? Or, like many other apps that involve a great deal of scrolling, an overlay button that appears once you are away from the top of the list that can
Hi All,Has anyone had issues with RadioApp suddenly stop working?It was functioning yesterday perfectly fine but my PlayBar stopped and dropped out of connection so I restarted and reconnected but now I cant access RadioApp and get the dreaded “Unable to browse music”I can use every other app for music I have tried so far, just the RadioApp one… Any suggestions? Is this a case for resetting everything and starting again?
Hi,I have a Beam, 2 One SL and Hub mini connected together for surround.For several weeks every works fine but from today the application stopped reflecting the sonos activity. The speakers continue working and can be controlled by buttons and/or via API but no data is received in the application on phone or windows.Could you help?Thanks,David
I have not been able to update what I think are the last two updates to the Sonos S1 controller on my macbook pro. I click on update now (in the black S1 pane), it does some things and requires my password. I do that and it says: Sonos update failed. An unexpected error occurred, please try again. And that happens every time. (So while the error is unexpected to Sonos, it is very much expected by me). This seems like a longlasting bug (several months). Is there a fix?
Yesterday everything was working fine.This morning I had Updates on both Sonos 1 and Sonos 2 - I run old and new products separately.Sonos 1 finds NAS drive OK and let’s me update the list.My NAD 10 streaming tuner using BluOS finds and updates listings OK.Sonos 2 will not show any connection to NAS drive.I can hear that it is accessing the drive from the crunching noises it makes, but it won’t show the Drive on the System under Music Library.Passwords are correct, path is correct, connections are correct.I believe this is a software issue following this morning’s update.Anyone else had problems? p.s. I’ve tried using both the app and my laptop - Nothing I’ve tried using text path and numeric path - Nothing
both soundcloud and search function of spotify brokeni can see soundcloud is listed as partial outage ………. i’d say full outage as cant browse or play anything. Also any searches done, dont include spotify in results, which is two major sources of music. please fix ASAP please

I have just rebuilt my whole iTunes library. Every number has its own artist, which also has his own folder in the music library. I have NO folder with the name “Various Artists”. However, when I open the SONOS app to the artists list, I see all artist neatly listed but ay the end of that list (under “V”) I see an artist with the name “Various Artists”. When I then click on that, I get a list of collection albums which in turn holds e specific number.NONE of these music numbers is tagged as being part of a collection.E.g: Parel Williams with the number “Happy” shows in my iTunes library as a folder “Pharrell Williams”, which hold the music file “Happy”. Sones shows this item ONLY under the artist Various Artists and (when I click on that) the album “Despicable me”. This album is not flagged as a compilation.Where do I go wrong?
Hi everyone,I sold my Play5 a while ago, and it was reset twice, but somehow is still connected to my Spotify account. I am constantly fighting for control over my account with some stranger. Judging by this person's musical taste, it appears appears be a teenage girl! One moment I'm chilling to some Elbow, when the next, I'm being ear raped by Witney Houston!As stated, the Play5 has been reset, and i have also forced logout of all devices in my Spotify account, and I have changed my Spotify password. Unfortunately this hasn't helped. What is also interesting is that when this other person plays Spotify, it shows up as the name that I gave to my old Play5 speaker "Kitchen"; could be a coincidence, but I somehow doubt it.Is there some way that you can break this connection in the Sonos 'back end' systems? Evening folks …. this really is Sonos development week for me. Thanks to all those helping me sort nearly half a dozen issues this week. And some days to go yet 😀Just firing up my Roam to check all well for a trip next week. Playback of music sources all seem fine (Amazon / Tidal) and also Audible. But TuneIn only allows selected channels to play best I can see.BBC World is fine, Kerrang is fine. But BBC Radio 4 or Radio Shropshire for example, shows the channel graphic but zero audio output?Checked it’s up to date but otherwise I’m at a bit of a loss as to why. Not a frequent radio users and indeed only added the TuneIn service to the app yesterday.Grateful for any direction why mainstream channels so not appear to be working.Plan was to take this for a lengthy trip and run it off mobile. I was only testing Norton VPN to see if that was working ok and then found this one.EDIT: Just continuing to look at this and it turns out it’s not just the Roam but all my Sonos devices not seeing
I’m trying to get my Recently Played list to populate and it keeps telling me to turn on data sharing. I’m happy to share my data - we’re all being tracked already anyway, right? - but no matter how many times I go to Data & Privacy > Additional usage data > Turn usage data sharing onThe option does not hold and immediately turns it off.When I then go to Data & Privacy > Use Personalization Services > and try to make this “Enabled” it does nothing and stays as “Disabled”. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the iOS app, signed out and back in, reset the entire system, and still can’t get this to work. Sonos, I’m begging you to take my data! How can I get this to work to unlock the Recently Played section and other features?
I’m having trouble reconnecting my Play 1 to my WiFi. It was working fine and then lost the connection, having made no changes to the WiFi.I did a factory reset and got a flashing green LED.I downloaded the latest Sonos app to my tablet, and there is no sign of a system/settings menu. All I get is a screen with a button “Join Existing System.” When I hit this it searches and tells me it can’t find a Sonos system and takes me back to the first screen.This happens even when connected by a cable and rebooting the routerHow do I get to a screen that allows me to re-enter mu WiFi settings? It’s beyond frustrating - seem to be going round in circles!Any help is much appreciated.
Sonos Connect suddenly started skipping last week after the release of 14.0.4. It won’t play any music via Sonos Radio, Apple Music, or Line-in without skipping. I also have a Sonos Arc that plays fine and does not have this issue. Does anyone know if the Sonos Connect is suffering from software obsolescence and must be replaced by the Sonos Port?
Successfully removed my bridge Successfully set up the Sonos system on my TP link mesh everything was working well on S1 (thanks Airgetlam) Checked compatibility of my Sonos units with S2. All fine. downloaded and installed S2 on my phone followed the instructions including switching off and on each unit and my router App confirmed all good Everything showing as incompatible in S2 - rooms, all of the Sonos units So nothing works on S2. This is a car crash. What have I done wrong? Does anyone have any thoughts?
I have the exact same issue as described herebut from the Sveriges Radio. Very annoying when listening to a podcast as it does not remember where it was and you need to listen to find where you are. Happens about every 20-30 min. And no, I don’t have any network issues or with playing directly from the app via AirPlay
