Talk about Sonos S1 and S2 Controller apps for mobile, and the desktop app. This is also the place to talk about partner apps, Airplay, and direct control.

Since a recent update this stupid screen pops up, and you have to piss around with the app for five minutes to get rid of it.Ironically it's blocking the favourites screen, and serves absolutely no purpose. Please get rid of it.
This question has been asked myriad times in slightly different formats/ contexts but here goes again; how do I print off the track list from a Sonos playlist so I can share it with someone else? Adding a layer of complexity, can I share it with another Sonos user?
I have an older Mac Mini, A1347, from late 2014, hooked up to my home theater system for some games on it. Apparently this model doesn’t send audio out through the HDMI cable. My system in that room uses a Playbar, two Sonos 1 players, and the woofer (forgot what it’s called). When I try to use AirPlay so I can play the audio from this Mac through my theater sound system in the same room, that system (based on the Playbar) is not on the list of Sonos devices I can use for playback. All the other Sonos devices in that building and in the house (all on the same LAN) show up, but not the theater setup. Is this a solveable problem or is there some reason the Playbar and combined system of 4 speakers can’t handle AirPlay when all the smaller devices can?
I’ve created a simple command line control program for Sonos, implemented in Python. I find it very useful for creating a variety of Sonos control scripts (e.g., using cron to run scripts at specific times), and sometimes just for quickly controlling my Sonos systems when I don’t want to start the app. It works with S1, S2, and split Sonos systems, and it should run on any OS that supports Python 3. If you’re comfortable using Python and the command line, you may find it useful, too. It’s quite powerful, with a wide range of control actions, yet simple to install and use. GitHub: https://github.com/avantrec/soco-cli PyPi: https://pypi.org/project/soco-cli This is an early release, so expect some bugs and limitations. I’d welcome your feedback and suggestions.
Help please: I have the Arc, a Sub and 2x Fives for my surrounds in my 'Living Room' zone (Arc+Sub+LS+RS) connected to my television. Can I switch the 2 Fives for use in stereo with my turntable (yes, I have a preamp) so I can listen to vinyl as well (not at the same time)? Thanks in advance.
This sucks that I cannot log into my Tunein premium service! Now I have to listen to adds each time I want to listen to a radio station. Get with it sonos, your system sucks. Looking for a new home audio system. Sonos is not a user friendly product!
How about creating a few more more Sleep Sound stations - like Surf or Brook or Crickets?
I used to get lock screen controls on my iphone to control the sonos system. Now they are gone. Not sure exactly when they disappeared, as I’ve updated both Sonos and IOS devices numerous times. A super convenient feature, which I’m really missing. I can see this issue has cropped up before, and the solution was to delete non-sonos airplay devices from the ios device. To me, this isn’t a solution. I would like to cast my phone audio to other devices. This WAS working. I can’t get a concise explanation as to why Airplay and Sonos aren’t working well together! Anyone know how to get this working?
I have a Sonos Five, Beam, and Symfonisk satellites in my living room. The Five is purely there to connect my turntable, so I do not want it to play when the TV is being used. Is there a way to accomplish this without having to manually toggle speakers every time we switch from the turntable to the TV?
Hi there. We privately sold our Sonos Bridge and Play 1 speaker yesterday but have not unlinked these products from our account. Can anyone help with any instruction on how best to go about fixing this oor will we have to ask the buyer to return so we can reconnect to our WiFi system?
My Sonos system suffers from the Controller being slow to start, I mostly use Android on tablets, usually three different ones, and all have the same symptom. When waking the Sonos app from sleep or starting it if not running, it takes 20 to 30 seconds to populate the screen and before any action can be performed. Here (diag below) I rebooted my Samsung S6 Lite and started the Sonos app. I’d left it to show the System / Rooms page where the problem is most obvious. It populates the screen with a random room, then adds the others over the next 22 seconds. They appear in what looks to be a random order and with the Room tiles initially overlapping in the display. During the population process the “active” Room bar appears on-screen but the Play button is not functional. At first appearance it isn’t even active, tapping it has no effect. If tapped a bit later it switches to show it has been tapped but still isn’t functional. Waiting a bit more it will change to Play or Pause and the selecte
I have four Apple TVs. One is connected to a Sonos Beam, one uses the speakers in the television, and two are connected to Sonos Playbars. Two of the Apple TVs use the new Siri Remote — one connected to a Playbar, the other to the Beam. Yesterday, July 29, both remotes ceased to control the volume on their connected Sonos products (Playbar and Beam). The remotes continue to control functions like power and navigation on the Apple TV, but not the volume. The Apple TV that is connected to the Playbar, but uses the older style remote continues to function properly. The only thing I can deduce is that for some reason, the newer remotes are no longer sending a compatible IR signal to the Sonos Beam and Sonos Playbar. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
Will prime app on sky q get atmosi know netflix Disney not supported on sky q box
I have both sonos one and play one using S1 app and has been working fine until recently. Cannot use spotify in S1 app as it is saying I need to update app for it to work - link then wants me to update to S2 app despite the play 1 being incompatible. I am left being unable to use spotify for my system which is what I mainly use it for.I have reset apps, deleted and downloaded, restarted system but no joy. Anyone have any tips?
Hello. Before I return my speakers - I thought I would check here for advice/ideas. I have 2 kids who do not have tablets/phones in their rooms. They do have their own Spotify accounts on my family plan. I bought 2 gen 2 Sonos One speakers hoping I could put then in their rooms and set speaker 1 to leverage Alexa to play Spotify account 1, and speaker 2 to leverage Alexa to play Spotify account 2. I see that I am able to associate multiple Spotify accounts within the Sonos app, but it appears that I can only able to select 1 account to play on either given speaker. Further, when 1 speaker plays music, the other speaker is not able to play different music. For example, if speaker 1 plays song A, and speaker 2 starts song B, then speaker 1 stops playing song A. My goal is to allow kid 1 to listen to Spotify account 1, and kid 2 to listen to Spotify account 2 at the same time, without conflict, and to have this able to be controlled via voice controls. Do I have any options here? If not
I contacted Sonos 3 separate times to find out what devices support Trueplay (please do NOT send me links to Trueplay compatible devices on Sonos site. I’ve seen it and it doesn’t tell me anything.) I was told that the iPad gen 8 WAS compatible with Trueplay so I bought a used one and come to find out it doesn’t work. I was also told by others on forums etc. that it would work also. Between this and the last update I’m at my wits end. Why can’t Sonos put out a complete list of every individual ios device that supports Trueplay. Now I’m out hundreds of dollars. No, I don’t know anybody that I can borrow a device from. Can anybody tell me exactly which iPads (not iPhones) support Trueplay please!!!
The Sonos Controller for PC app keeps grabbing focus. This happens while minimized and while not minimized. I am experiencing this behavior across multiple PCs in the house. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?I’m using controller version 11.5.
Sonos app on iOS (currently 14.12, but this issue started sometime before that): touching an existing alarm in order to view/change its settings freezes the Sonos app. Have to kill/restart it. Can toggle existing alarms off/on, can create a new alarm, but can’t get to the settings to change the time or volume. I know that I could access these settings as of late February, so the problem crept in after 14.2. I can access these settings through the desktop app -- but (for example) the volume control is an uncalibrated slider, so I can’t tell whether I’ve set the weekend volume the same as the weekday volume. So it’s not ideal.
My wife and I just set up our Arc+Sub in our living room, and One SL’s in each of our our offices. Everything was set up perfectly using my account/email via the Sonos App on my iPhone. Now my wife would like control on her iPhone so she can manage her office speaker independently. Can she create her own Sonos email/account and link up to our system at the same time as me? Or, does she need to use my email/account within the Sonos App on her iPhone? Thank you!
Hey everyone, I hope it’s allowed here to talk about this, I want to showcase of what’s possible to build using the Sonos Developer Platform: https://auxcord.org I’ve seen hundreds of threads here on the Sonos forum, asking for a Jukebox for their Sonos system: Allowing guests to queue their own songs easily. https://auxcord.org does exactly that:Never replace the currently playing song: always queue Your guests can use any phone to add songs Your guests don't need any account or login Disable the speaker's hardware buttons, so you control the volume and playlist Share a link or QR code ahead of time, so guests can pre-queue Prevent the same song from being played multiple times No need to hand over your phone, or have your friends spell the title of the songThis is a new project I’ve built, because I needed it for myself. It’s completely free, and I have no plans on commercialising it. Depending on the feedback, I might continue working on it, to improve the design and make it easier

When enjoying a song in a playlist, you used to be able to click on the down arrow and see the related album a track came from and then start playing that. This option has been removed in the latest update. WHY?! Seems a mad removal. 👇
I am trying to get my Innuous mini mk3 library available on my Sonos Port. Support has told me a. No hard connection is necessary, they communicate via wifi, b. Connect them directly with ethernet cable and c. Connect them directly with rca cables. I have tried all with no luck. I have no confidence in support on this matter. Have any of you experience with this? Thanks in advance.
Hello all, within the last week my app has pinged up there is a new update (even though auto update is turned off). What exactly does the new update address?, has anyone updated yet. It's also really annoying the certain settings are now "ghosted out", just because it's sniffed an update. Is there any way to stop this happening in the future (blocking access at the router etc?).
